Yeah, Makoto dealt with all the Demon Lords back then, but that actually leads to the question: just how powerful os Erinyes, for Makoto not to finish her off, and instead go for the sealing (probably made by Anna, I don't know)? As for the principal, I think it was said he's around 200 years old. With the years passing by, the seal must have grown weaker and he probably showed up at a critical moment One must also not forget that the principal is the legendary adventurer who went through so many dungeons, including the Deep Sea Temple's dungeon, and wrote that diary where he announced that he would give up. Maybe he found one of those godly fruits in one of those dungeons (maybe in Zenith Tower, even)
He's not 200, 200 years ago is when he decided to open his school, so that's probably when he quit adventuring, or at least dungeon diving, since his collection of monsters is coming from somewhere.
