mmm...more like "the strange adventure of a broke mercenary" this is becoming more like "the mercenary that got trapped and became an indentured servant to a (literal) demoness"

the title might sound stupidly long, but that's nothing new under the rising sun

 

Well it is JP novel so a stupidly long title would not be a surprise.

 

Loren could use a spear as a substitute while he regains some of the money he owes back. They're easier to use and easier to repair. He could use his free time to take some branches from the woods and cut them to make sharp edge spears. Sure they'll suck but hey you're broke man.

 

Besides it sure will beat the alternative of having to guet close and personal to punch monsters.

on second thoughts, last time he got near a demoness he ended up as her personal slave, so he's better off attacking them with a pole no shorter than 6ft or directly change his class to archer XD

 

It would be difficult to carry, and he already had so much trouble using his old sword indoors....

 

not really...to carry a long pole should not be anywhere near as hard as carrying a big plank of iron

from the illustrations it looks more like there's some classic evil sorceror plot afoot and the girl is involved with it

I'm loving Lapis with each passing second. The two are entertaining and it's refreshing to see a protagonist who's not overpowered and has a bland party who only exist to talk about how awesome the MC is.

 

Loren missed the chance by no sharing the room. He could have provided some night service to clean some of his debt.

 

She would take the chance to charge him, probably based on the going rates for a girl of her attractiveness, and try to say she's giving him a discount after.

1.Guild Girl- 2 room = double payment costs on investigations
