He was just changing to subject, not making something up. The Gods didn't want him to stay in the tutorial. They didn't design the tutorial either. They actually hoped he would escape the tutorial and become one of their apostles.

Why would it being a girl be bad? Not like she will become a recurring moe/loli character who joins the mc on his journey. We already have someone in that position.

So it is finally out. The MC is infact trying to break through the Tutorial. Before it was just the Gods who were thinking that is what he was doing but we finally have an admission about it from the MC. I can see why Archer Girl would agree to the Gods proposal. She may think she will be the next LHJ stuck at the 61st floor. Could be pretty worrying even though she shouldn't have to worry.
Archer girl actually asked hojae if she should agree with the gods, and he said she should for the benefits. he just doesn't tell her anything much important.
Ya, wasnt that because she was more trusting of LHJ than she perhaps should be? As readers we know she won't get screwed over, too integral to the plot... but she should have those nagging suspicions at the back of her mind. Also, story of her life. LHJ is soooo damn cryptic whenever we read him giving her advice on the floors and challenges. The only reason she knows anything is cause the author makes it happen behind the scenes. If she only knew what we've seen LHJ tell her then she would be dead so many times over. Just something funny i was thinking about.
no he tells her cryptic things on purpose, because if she new the ins and outs of each floors she would never get strong enough. he doesn't want her to depend on him for things.
I know he says that but he just gave her the full guide to the 18th floor. Him being cryptic most of the time is a good thing I'm just saying that whenever we see them talk he is cryptic and sometimes after the fact he says he spilled the beans on the floor. I agree with you but I'm just making an observation.
