It's like this, although I understand Spanish, but I can't suddenly do a speech in Spanish, I'm fluent in English. Writing is fine, speaking is fine, I jest get made fun off sometimes when I talk with the family, due to the fact they're all natural Spanish speakers who can still speak perfect English, while I, someone who doesn't go outside for fun, am only fluent in English.

I don't know?! LISTEN, I just wanted to say how hard it is to understand Spanish, even though my whole family can. I also got bullied a lot when I was a kid. People used to say Asian-boy to me, even though I'm Mexican, it doesn't help that my eyes are like, I know this is rude, Asian people, squinting. I was also pale, and used to do Martial Arts when I was 8-12, so of course I'd be called names like "Jacki Chan." Stop making fun of me! But it in all seriousness, it's fine, I don't care anymore-
HAHAHAHAAH Thats normal to happen when you stop using a lenguage, I spoke perfect spanish for almost all of my life and now that I have spent a few years in a country where we only speak portuguese, sometimes I catch myself not finding the rigth words to express myself in spanish (altough I am still fluent in it, yup I am bragging here ) You just need a little practice at home, and try not to talk in english with your family, and lots of spanish music, LOTS!!!!!!!!!!! Well there is no problem for me as someone already said, since he is talking in the flashback as his present he can use present tence, he is not narrating what happened, is more like we are reliving what he did at the time.
What the heck is his problem? Was there really a need for him to threaten the patron deity of the tribe after she'd already removed the curse? Is violence the only thing he understands anymore? Yeah. I think he even gets off on tough battles. Remember his mana explosion event on floor 60? He went into a fit about wanting to slaughter and die. He's been exposed to death so much he wants it.

Nope. He's suppressing his emotions is all. If he were given the option to either continue the tutorial or escape, he'll continue to climb long as he can. Its not about being OP enough to save earth or live peacefully with a girl. He desires endless victory and growth above all. His crazy moments are just him suppressing his desires.
