Would you mind if you also add the description and links, I'm really sorry to Op, but in general the thread is unreadable, I don't get anything done here, nothing makes sense.

 

Putting this thread aside, the story-telling of the work itself is not great. It's pretty hard to understand clearly what the hell is going on even with the translation. I also find myself eye rolling at the stupidity of some of the things I see that make no damn sense.

 

I didn’t understand anything at all. I normally start a manhwa after reading the spoiler or ATLEAST the plot line. But I couldn’t understand anything for this. Can anyone help me ?

Any spoilers about how ml felt about fl in the first timeline and reaction of her death?

 

I'll try explaining things till I've read. I haven't read the manhwa yet. Here goes a "long" spoiler from the novel. Pardon my mistakes.


• Tidbits of First Timeline:

•The things that caused Eurainia's downfall began a year ago. She saved grandfather Euclid from a fire. Her father Count Vincent & stepmother Elica forced her to take a drug, paraxia. They tricked her by saying it would cause temporary blindness & loss of voice. But in reality, the drug gradually clotted the blood flow. The trashy couple asked the marriage between Eurainia & Eucild's grandson, Duke Cassius as a compensation. Euclid agreed as he was indebted for saving his life.


• After marriage, Eurainia hid behind Lina (exclusive maid) whenever she heard Cassius' voice in her past life. They didn't even have a proper conversation. Also, there was the fear of revealing the false illness to him. She felt low, showing her pathetic and shabby self.


• FL met ML when he was 15. After the death of the previous Ducal couple, he joined the kingdom's reinforcements. She was fascinated by his cold, beautiful face that time.


• FL was still used by the count couple. They ordered her to destroy an artifact that protected the empire from monsters. They gave her the antidote, so she could regain her eyesight for some time. FL lived all her life, abiding by them. She didn't know what to do. She tries to break it but gets caught by Cassian. She was imprisoned in the tower & due to the effects of paraxia she was getting closer to death. She was in deep regret. Vincent met her mom in Mrun kingdom. After her death, he married Elica. Elica's son was 7 years younger than FL. But they ordered her to call him older brother due to succession issues. Later, another girl was born. After that, FL was treated as a speck of dust. • FL's Regression:

• FL opened her eyes to find herself back 4 months ago. She's surprised if someone heard her prayers. Going back to the past, FL decides to gain Cassius's trust & recover her health.


• FL sees Cassius in the middle of the lake in winter. She jumps in to rescue him. ML suffered from insanity, he went to cool himself in the lake. Seeing her jump, he rushed to carrying her out. FL turned pale & cold. The doctor came & advised medicines. FL started taking the herbs. Which helped her symptoms a lot. She thought of finding the remedy to Cassius's insanity.


• The butler was a fair person.The headmaid Thalia despised FL. She acted like the hostess of the castle. FL-ML didn't have a wedding night, so maids didn't consider her as the duchess. Only Lina was by her side. FL plans to replace Thalia with Ophelia. She tries to recover Ophelia's kidnapped child & punishes Thalia in the tower. Her accomplice knight Gerrard was also punished.


• ML gifted her 'Memories of Waves' only worn by the duchess. He also warned Thalia multiple times. ML wanted to give her the respect she deserves as a duchess. He also wanted her to enjoy the luxuries.


There's a communication barrier between them. FL considers that ML hates her & thinks he's sarcastic. FL constantly shakes in front of him and ML assumes she's scared of him

• Cassius's Memories of FL before Marriage:

In fact, Cassius had known Eurainia before marriage. A girl who came to visit her mother. She was smiling brightly at the subject of losing her sight and voice while trying to save others like a fool. Could the face of the woman who had been liberated have been deeply engraved in her mind? He could not erase Eureinia's memories for a while. Often he even suffered from the illusions of Eurainia.

• Eurainia Going to Party & Attack of Monsters:

• FL tries to get in the social world. She wants to recruit Phoebe as her doctor. FL offers her a lot of money but gets a nonchalant expression. She sees Phoebe has been suffering from a disease. She mutters the location in Phoebe's ear. Furthermore, she's surprised & asks Jean (assistant) to take note of her. That's how Phoebe gets on FL's side.


• FL was getting attacked by a monster. Cassius comes to her rescue. He is angry why she would carelessly go to a party. He's worried because she almost died. But FL thought he was anxious regarding the Duke's reputation & tries to explain.


Cassius strangely laughed & said,

“Eurenia, honor has been mine since birth. Do I look like someone who lacks that kind of thing?”


“I say this because my wife doesn’t seem to know who I am yet.”


Then he narrowed the distance & continued, “Once it is mine, it belongs to me until the end of its life.”


This time, FL though ML was implying if she's trying to covet his property .


“Duke, I am not anyone's.”

“Never again, don't be discouraged. Don't get sick and don't get tricked . You are Euclid. From now on, you will live as Euclid.”


Cassius's hard voice sounded like a plea. His eyes were desperate. Eurainia couldn't understand him. She mistook Cassius considered her as his possession as other nobles.


Seid comes running. Past timeline Seid was also killed. Seid sees the monster corpses around. Cassius warned Seid, if Uraynia had been injured, you wouldn’t have been able to save her life. Seid replied ML deeply misunderstood, he was only inviting close friends to the party.


After that, ML escorts her to the townhouse. Later, he has to leave for work.

• Comforting ML & First Kiss:

FL couldn't sleep at night & came by the lake. She saw Cassius dipping in the freezing pool as usual.

As Uraynia smiled softly, Count Vincent slammed the tea table. Hearing the bank knights & maids rushed in. Due to the drug's side effects, FL vomited blood that time.

• Cassius's Sudden Return & Reaction:

•The butler contacted him through a channel. ML was in a strategical meeting but abruptly left. He saw Eurainia's pale face. Cassius didn't see her collapse since the lake incident.


• Vincent hasn't left yet. After FL woke up, she told Lina to fiddle with Vincent's carriage. They were having dinner. Count Vincent raised his eyebrows and clicked his tongue.

“You are sick and should leave. I didn't catch a cold when I was young, but after that fire, you have been struggling like this."


“Sir, please do your due diligence.”


Count Vincent had to respect Duchess Eurenia. Cassius pointed that out.


•Vincent orders her to destroy the artifact on trade route. If this go well, he would give half management rights to her.


Eurenia smiled as she watched Count Vincent's carriage leaving. Upon hearing the cool news that Count Vincent's carriage had rolled off a cliff and dumped into a pile of compost, Eureinia went to the flower seed warehouse with an open mind.

•FL-ML's Room Sharing:

When the Viscout visited, FL shared a room with ML. FL saw Cassius's figure when he came from bath. His figure couldn't leave her mind even the next day. She was upset that nothing happened between them. Did Cassius not find her attractive. Lina coaxes her, the Duke is being careful of her health.


FL was rummaging through things in workshop. She was going to fall, but ML caught her. Both of them fell on winter grass.

“Why did you go out to sleep yesterday?”


Eurainia asked Cassius. Yesterday, after sending the message to the shared bedroom, Cassius did not return. She didn't want to sleep with the feeling of being left alone today. Spoiler: First Timeline

At one point in current TL, FL asks ML what he would've done if she'd done something extremely terrible and he explains how he would hide her away somewhere until he killed off everyone criticizing her, and make sure all her needs were taken care of. FL realizes that ML locked her in tower in previous TL to protect her and it was her maid who mismanaged her living conditions, causing her to die.

She later has a dream about what happened in 1st TL. After she dies, ML comes back and is outpouring grief and regret for not being aware of her drug addiction. He goes crazy trying to kill all the monsters that invaded after she broke the barrier protection and eventually dies regretting that he left her alone.

Spoiler: ML & FL's Relationship

ML always loved FL and was always holding himself back because she looked so frightened and avoided him. At one point FL's half sister Lucy appears (sent by stepmom) intending to poison FL with a huge amount of paraxia, but is stopped by FL's guards before FL can drink it. Lucy is forced to drink it herself and ends up being paralyzed from the neck down and then spills FL's secret about taking paraxia so she could marry ML.

ML and FL have a convo about it where he realizes that she wasn't avoiding him because she hated him, but because she was afraid to be found out. He's upset that the family forced her to drink the drug and live blind/mute, and is just worried about her condition. He doesn't care that she lied to him and neither do the servants who were in the room when Lucy dumped out the secrets. They all sympathize with her and just want to protect her even more.

Spoiler: First Night

After clearing up all the misunderstandings, FL's maid keeps trying to set them up for their 1st night together, but the opportunity gets interrupted multiple times. FL keeps trying to tempt ML, but he's worried about overdoing it and her body being ill. She misinterprets it as he's not interested and there are some more misunderstandings that are eventually cleared.

By the time they do the deed, FL and ML are making out, with her sitting on his lap and she keeps begging him to stop holding back (his pants are bulging and wet). Eventually he gives in and tells her he won't stop even if she asks. The next morning she ends up sick and ML freaks out calling in Phoebe. FL's maid finds out and looks so excited about the situation (she's been trying to prep the first night for so long). Doctor asks how FL ended up like this and there's awkward conversation about how "she's married", and doctor has to tell off ML.
