What is that? Is it based off a novel?

Yes. It’s action/comedy/mystery/supernatural. BL elements have been removed (except one joke scene). It’s rating is 8.6/10 (rated by 18.3k people) on myanimelist and is currently ranked 80th place in terms of popularity.

I wouldn't say the BL elements have been removed, per se. It's fairly permeated with longing looks and touches with suggestively sweeping musical score. They skirt riiight up to the line of plausible deniability I would say.

What! Oh goodness. It’s strange to make it to Netflix.

Watched this and loved it so much^^!!!!!! WY and LZ have such great chemistry---per XZ and WYB's acting skills. Those longing gazes, and flirted eyes between them definitely can tell that they like each other more than friends. It's unfortunate and sucks that they removed the BL element from it, but kudos to the acting and directions of the team that makes this possible of bromance, and technically BL without the kissing and etc stuff. You can tell their eyes from the screen that they longed for each other-----not friendship type of way.

Not bashing the two actors, but the director. They could have made it better. I couldn’t make it pass the first episode and found myself skipping around the first few episodes. I wonder if the Korean pick it up...what kind of BL will they sprout out. I could have a nose bleed. Oppa!! But then, k-drama still lack the resource and funding for a drama requiring heavy CGI.

It would be interesting to see how it would be if Korea picked it up, and make it their own adaptation. True, Korea still lacked that heavy CGI arena.
