Don’t know if you still need it but here it is Spoiler: Li Jing (girl who liked Tianshen$ Tianshen told his best friend, her brother, about Li Jing’s feelings for him and told him it’s up to him what to do. So the brother told li Jing to resign or he will have her fired to avoid conflict with Tianshen. Li Jing was unwilling and committed suicide with actually the intention to die. This ended Tianshen dismissing her from work and her sister in law being mad at her because of the problem she caused for a married man. Fortunately she realized her mistake and how her family is more important than Tianshen. We also find out she has a “friend” who persuaded her to attempt suicide so her brother won’t force her to resign anymore. Then this friend has a boss directing her who is most likely an antagonist.

It was a good novel but the first 50 chapters were mildly irritating to read because the author constantly reminds us that the MC believes it is better to be roommates alone with the ML. Like yeah, sis we got it. The original was selfish, the ML could've shirked responsibilities and ask her to get an abortion because she didn't want the child anyways. ML can only exist in a novel.
