Gosh i think i've wasted a year worth of tears when mtling this novel.

 

I think the story was nice but the tone was too solemn

Mo Qiu died, then ML died.

 

ML died? Can you give me the chapter number I am currently on chapter 123. (I need to psychologically prepare myself)

 

Yes he finally died in 130+ or 140+ch near ending (forgot hehe). He was killed by the sect master (yes his own martial brother..) in the broken cliff while protecting MC. But don't worry it's just temporary (i almost dropped this book tho QAQ). But MC's reaction is very heartbreaking, i suggest to prepare a box or more tissues

 

Why did Mo qui die and why did the sect master wants to kill mc

 

Well it's hard to explain, mtl sucks. So "mo qiu" died while protecting MC from the dragon, but his actual body isn't. MC still didn't know that mo qiu is actually the demon king. He thought mo qiu is descendant of mo family, so he's so heartbroken when mo qiu "died". Oh but he later found out.
And everyone (human+demon) want to kill mc bcs of that damn heaven's prophecy. ML is always protecting MC and almost died couple of times, in the end he really died tho.

 

What prophecy?

And yeah, ML does come back in the end. MC manages to free the world completely from the plotline, but it also resets everything back to the start. MC at first thinks no one remembers, but then it turns out ML remembers and they immediately jump into celebration!sex and sect master (?) is using megahorn voice to yell something in the background.

 

Can someone tell me, which chapter the MC and ML confess to each other?

Do we ever find out why ML took LX as a disciple? If it was just to avoid our MC he could have continued going into closed door cultivation. I’m on chapter 85 and I don’t think it’s said why he took protagonist as a disciple? Can anyone tell me?

 

This is a super late response, but reasons why ML took LX (protag) as disciple are various and all stemming from his guilt from perving on his own disciple. Master-disciple relationship aside (it's considered kinda incestual, since it's kind of father-child in tone), ML raised MC from a tiny baby to his current age. MC is no longer a baby, but ML thinks of himself as this huge sinful pervert MC needs protecting from and that's why he distances himself. He takes on LX sorta to distract himself, I think (and LX also has plot armor, so).

So, MC and ML souls are the original, their souls are the same even though they rebirthed?

What about the protag? Is the original protag a transmigrator too? Or the original was gone then the body occupied by the transmigrator?

How'd this novel found by MC? Did he find it in the modern world or in the novel world? If in the novel world after he rebirthed, how?Who brought the novel to the novel world?

 

MC was reborn. There's hint ML remembers something, but I don't think he's reborn.
Protag transmigrated from modern world. He knows the story.
Author never explained how or why MC gets the novels.
