You can feel free to disagree with me but I’m honestly kind of disappointed in this situation. It reminds me a lot of “When the villainess loves,” where the FL legit just has to smile and the world will bend in her favor and I ultimately just kind of see it as lazy writing.

Xavier kills her.
As I said he saw memories about FL's death and knows that the people who were plotting treason were the reason.
His mother (ml's aunt )is also on the side of Baldwin and helped him escape.
She focused more on him than her own son. Though, Baldwin only thinks of her as a tool to achieve the throne.

There is a confession drug which was used by asil in torture room. It is a herb and no one knows how to create it except him. It makes the person who eats to feel so depressed and empty and they confess. prisoners who ate them have committed suicide because of the severe depression and the emptiness they felt.

Xavier wanted to save FL at any cost as she was his only light and was planning to kill anything that is dangerous to FL.

So, Xavier fed the herb potion to his mom. He thought she would be sorry for not being with her son and neglecting him.

But, she cries because she couldn't do much to Baldwin ( gotta say that lady didn't even say a single thing about her own son and was sorry for Baldwin) but she was sad that Baldwin only sees her as a tool. And Xavier was sad how his mom doesn't feel for him and then kills her.

 

That was satisfying that she suffer before she died

 

I loved the manhwa. I read it like 23 chapter. So did anyone have the novel or anyone picked it yet

The translations for the manhwa have obviously stopped due to the authors request but from what I saw on IG, apparently both of them had an argument after the FL told the ML she didn’t want to be the empress and then Asil shows up shortly after while the FL is crying to “console her” I guess

He wants her, she rebuffs him so he tells her fine have it your way. Not sure what's petty about it.

Also good to see the ninja skills of the third wheels are ever present. Always magically appearing at the exact time and place the FL and ML have a fight. Not sure why I am supposed to even care about this guy.

it happened after the treason at the banquet for Inais was failed and all the traitors were killed and detained. He was with Theo bcs Theo wanted to ask him the antidote for Esseled, after the talk he acted as if he drank a poison, so Theo stabbed him with his sword, but actually the bottle is empty and he fooled Theo so that he can kill him. I swear he’s not a scumbag, I pity him

There’s not much different actually, and R15 doesn’t mean there’s so many sm*t scenes, in the novel there’s no scene where you can call sm*t, they just make out, and then a lil bit narration that you can interpret as ‘they’re making love’, and then it’s over, that’s all. It’s the same as the manhwa ver
