I have to say, that 'gaze like a knife' part made me laugh. So he just glanced and it became like that. And more funny is that, the halo activated! It's such a contradiction. The gaze is 'villainous' but then the halo has a 'white lotus' effect.

I was quite puzzled on this part. So, when YBY is combing through the memories, he just blurted it out so it means he does have memory of it but why is he getting puzzled at LMC? Did the limited customer service made him forget it? Or the memories are so fuzzy bc he's drunk? That's why they use so much incense sticks. Use the smoke to drive mosquitoes away.
The Halo was on Auto mode at the time, so YBY's actions weren't under his control. He didn't pay attention to it while his body is on Auto, instead he went and browse all the relevant memories of the body. I'm not sure why he got fragmented/blurry memories that can only be triggered when he is in contact with the relevant people, but it could be because of the interns and their sloppy/clumsy jobs at chapter 1? But YBY was sleeping in the dark dungeon, I doubt there's incense there. I know I can't sleep peacefully if I hear mosquitoes buzzing around me, I wonder if he slept with mosquitoes those nights...
Hmmm... It's quite unique dungeon, so I think that only these mosquitoes with really high spiritual level or specially trained would be able to enter - similar like the guards : P And if I remember correctly it was told that in the whole dungeon the only sound was some clock ticking? On the other hand I dislike this sound while trying to fall asleep ><

I guess it wasn't so obvious since it keeps changing third person POVs but while Luo MingChuan remembers the memory of his promise, Yin BiYue has no clue about it. Case in point, he didn't know what Qiongzhou was, haha. So from his perspective, even though he remembers what happened during the customer service automode, Luo MingChuan's reaction was still terribly confusing.

Agreeing with @LaDyViL I pity the poor Sect Master the most as well, what with Jun Yu barely giving an eff about him and having to worry about his "unfilial" disciple getting himself killed. YBY is also kind of pitiful in this situation, since he has no idea what's causing these people to suddenly look at him with such "unnatural" gazes, after all he did activate the 'Fiend's Halo', right? I wonder how long it's going to take him to realize he's got the wrong halo.
