I saw the webtoon and thought the ML looked like Cabel from False Confession so I popped in. Then I saw this... MTL'd but it mentions MC will get raped and gangbanged and get pregnant from it!? And another female (antagonist?) will also get raped and gangbanged and have her face ruined!??? Please someone correct me
At the top of the page (in red writing), it looks like that (heroine raped and impregnated) might have been the original story, but the author changed it so that the heroine was "only" tortured and given a facial scar. And that this was done because the author thought that being raped and impregnated was "too extreme" a situation for the heroine. The rest of the review (written in black) was written before the story was changed, and therefore might not be completely accurate to the current story as it stands.

...Well, if you read the naver link, they literally say in the very first line at the top of the page that it happens to Ran, so... I'm going to go with: it happened to the MC. From what I saw, it looks like Ran's carriage was attacked for some unknown reason (the reviewer didn't clarify), and the 2nd male lead (Ran's guard) decided to prioritize protecting the girl he liked (who was scared) over Ran, who was knocked unconscious and being carried away. (The reviewer was particularly upset about that since the 2nd male lead's feelings for the girl came out of nowhere, and he should have had more loyalty toward Ran, who was apparently his benefactor, even if he gave up on Ran romantically. Also protecting Ran was his job, so...) And that's all I know. Someone else has to provide spoilers, because I've got nothing.

this is just my hypothesis.... I think male lead's step sister didn't actually hate him. Maybe the step sister was just a tsun. For one, it's long, it drops three names aside from Ran's that I neither recognize nor care about, and I feel that I already summarized it well enough in my previous post. OOOOH Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I was lowkey worried that I wouldn't be able to read this (which is lie since the manwha art is so fricking pretty). Nevertheless, I'm a little disappointed by the actual author. This is a great/typical premise but using rape (wtf gangrape) as a trope for us to have more sympathy for the character - it's sort of a copout, I feel like.
