It's not an opinion, it's a fact. You need to actually learn about facts before trusting satire sites which give you wrong info for fun. Unless the entire thread is a strange kind of trolling for shits and giggles in which you're the only one laughing while everyone else are confused why you're laughing.

In the first place, age of consent is different from country to country. Age of consent is not the age of adulthood, which refers to you getting the ability to make life choices, such as investing on your own, buying a car or whatever else. In Japan, the age of adulthood is 18. Before they reach the age of adulthood, they can still marry, if their parents allow them to. Because under 18 in Japan, they are still under the supervision of their parents.

In the first place, age of consent means so many different things based on country. In some countries, you can't drink until you're 21 when you're considered an adult, but in there's no such law in some countries. That being said, there are many other countries with even lower age of consent (for sex). The fact that you do not know this and instead target only Japan, makes it clear that you're either lazy to find out the truth or just trolling for reactions.

If you seriously believe that Japan is the center of all debauchery and immorality, you need to educate yourself from legitimate sources instead of believing crackpot sites.

Commonly known countries where girls may marry at 16:
1) All of the Latin American countries, except for Ecuador, El Salvador and Panama after 2015
2) United States of America. All US states (except for Delaware and New Jersey) have exceptions/loopholes that allow minors to marry in case of parental consent, judicial consent, and/or pregnancy. Of those, 32 states have a minimum age ranging from 14-17. In 18 states, there is no minimum age.
3) Indonesia
4) Kazakhstan
5) Hong Kong
6) Many others which gets tiring to type.

Countries with marriage age being 15 or below:
