What are everyone's thoughts on the novel so far?
Seems interesting but there's no plot, so it feels meaningless.
Not bad. Its interesting that he's anti reincarnation.
A giant "Fuck You!" to do-over reincarnation.
It's interesting but the MC's character just doesn't seem all that reasonable to me. I can understand him being mad at people abandoning the present in the situation he was in specifically but hating time travel in general is ridiculous.
Kill the Lords, Kill the Nightmares? He's plotting to bring down the entire system. Right now he doesn't know enough to plan a proper strategy, so he's drifting along while those who do know enough will find him.
It's already been hinted that one of the families from the Abyss will be checking up on him to test and see if they can rope him into their fold. By then he should be getting that information to plan his goals.
I didn't like the MC's character.
its better than against the gods and warlock of magus worlds current arc.
I like it so far, is diferent and fresh, the premises seems to go in a direction not taken before, andd the Mc actions seem to be indicating a greath cataclism in the future. just sad that the author never though of giving more repertoire to the MC and having him only use thrust.
I get that the MC is a little too.. sociopathic? Doesn't really concern himself with the wellbeing of others, but I think his personality and actions are justified. He was deprived of meaningful social experience for decades and was forced to just watch as his fellow man abandoned the rest of humanity for selfish reasons. It's very likely he's suffering from PTSD and other forms of psychological problems that the author will most likely flesh out in future chapters.
So far I have no issue with the MC not the way he is acting, is the lack of background information that is killing me, at least precent new elements in the story with somekind of background, not out of the blue. Like with the great families enterin chaos and still mainteining their status, if they are dead why hold to the status??? Only after is explained that they actually dreamwalk to enter chaos, but once again why do that?? What does Chaos hold to be so importatn for them to risk go in there?
I like the way that anything is possible with this MC.
The interaction between him and the other characters (assassin girl, angel security guard) so far are interesting since he's a wild card who is liable to destroy everything if people set him off.
I'm not really clear where his line is though. He doesn't seem to have hatred for the fort, but he also has no compassion.
I hope to see some more character development from the MC.
The setup of the world is pretty interesting how he subverted the proper path, but i hope they follow up on what ever happened to his body and his allies.
Oh, and so far the fight scenes have been OP fun.
In short: it's new and mysterious. I'm looking forward to more world building and character development.
I think he heated time travel because he doesn't see it as such, he sees it as entering an alternate dimension and abandoning the original one.
So wondering what he meant when talking with the blacksmith, and could the guy that stayed with him in the tower till the end surprass his limit as a human and become more that an aprentice Blacksmith in the great plains???
Decided to make a LCD for the novel since I enjoy it.
Kinda wish LCD's have links to the novel. Makes it easier.
I know it's easy for someone to go check it manually but you'd think people would include the links by default
Sorry bout that
Anyways, last chapter was pretty nice. I kind of wonder if the gods and demon sovereigns can see the illusions, or if it's just an awakened thing? Or if there are any other awakened?
