I thinks Leom will give the item to the church with a price or something, he already know Olivia will need the items after she became saint so it will be her eventually. the whole point accept the quest is because he feels the current situation make impossible to Olivia naturally obtained the items.

Maybe Marie beat Olivia by becoming the Saint first, and it will greatly surprised Leon. If Leon can rob the AI because old human gene. It's not weird if Marie can do similar thing because they both have old human gene.

 

But there's a little inconsistency. In case of Leon, he got his hand on the boat because the item was there and the AI accept his JP person bullshit so he gain the boat. However, Leon still basically a 'normal' person in this game world. Other than the AI boat, everyone can do what he can. Maria case is different. It was indicated that a 'saint' is a special existence and not just a title given to a person with 3 'saint items'. Maria is very unlikely to have saint power so she basically screw herself when the time come for the 'saint' to use her power.

 

Yes she will definitely screw herself. But I'm talking about admitted to be a saint, supposedly Olivia become a saint and then get the items. Marie can just beat Olivia by go to church first, and demonstrate the same skillset as saint. Especially because Olivia is heavily pampered by Leon she never show her power.

Marie is stupid but she is hard worker, if she reincarnated the same time as Leon, it give her time to train to become a saint especially when she plan to steal all the flags with capturable targets. Even she didn't play the game, she have save data with 100% completions, she can look the build of saint with that and maybe is the reason why Marie didn't try to get Luxon first.

But to be honest she will screw herself because she didn't play the game and skip to the ending.

 

But the thing is, she shouldn't be able to 'train' to be a 'saint'. It's like a 'Hero' or 'chosen one'. She can still go and get admit to being a 'saint' by the church tho. That's why I say there's an inconsistency in the story. If a saint is a special being then Maria, (assuming she is a reincanator in another mob body since Leon didn't even know any 'Maria' from the game time) shouldn't be able to use any of the saint's power, let alone train the skill set. However she did use some healing in volume 1 which was believed to be one of the saint's ability from the story flow.

Now in volume 2, the AI talk about there are healing magic being normally acknowledge when that dude got hurt in airbike race. So now I don't even know if 'healing magic' is normal or not.

 

It said that Healing magic is rare but not unique in the book, so they would have it in a noble academy because they would be able to afford it.

Pretty boring chapter since i don't care about Jilk and his problems. He had it coming so that is that. But at least he accepted that whether Clarice behaviour was unreasonable or not that he is the one at fault here.

The race isn't played in single rounds and Jilk responsible to bringing them the first years into the final rounds. Leon basically substituted-in the final rounds so Jilk still credited for the larger part of the race. I think Leon do have plans to take the prize or benefits from this as well anyway.
