Name: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Otomege Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu 乙女ゲー世界はモブに厳しい世界です Raw Link: https (colon) //ncode (dot) syosetu (dot) com/n3191eh/ NU Link: https (colon) //www (dot) novelupdates (dot) com/series/the-world-of-otome-games-is-tough-for-mobs/ Why It Should Get Picked Up: This is a really cool otome game story that does something different from the rest. Not only does it takes the perspective of a male who is place in an otome game, it also takes the perspective of a "mob" character instead of one of the more prominent ones. The original translator is dropping this story, and it's a shame that no one will be translating it anymore. It's not exactly a harem novel since there are strictly 2 love interests. Description: Leon, a former Japanese worker, was reincarnated into an “otome game” world, and despaired at how it was a world where females hold dominance over males. It was as if men were just livestock that served as stepping stones for females in this world. The only exceptions were the game’s capture targets, a group of ikemen led by the crown prince. In these bizarre circumstances, Leon held one weapon. He has knowledge from his previous world, where his brazen sister had forced him to complete this game. Leon, who really just wants to to live as a shut-in in the countryside, uses that knowledge to unexpectedly raise a ferocious revolt against the women and ikemen. The curtains begin for an exhilarating fantasy about overtaking the fiendish heroine.
LN is being done right now and the current volume is being translated as we speak. There isn’t much difference in the WN, but the LN has a few more special chapters that are exclusive to which version is bought. I suppose the web version could get translated too, but what would be the point
I think he is looking for a possible replacement in case TL drop the serie, as TL already bored of the serie. TL: "That beimg said, I’m thinking about putting this series on hold and translating something else until I either regain interest or decide to…well, we’ll cross that bridge if we get there. I don’t know. What do you guys think? I can keep going at this slow rate if you’re all okay with that, I suppose."
Isn't the rule 3 months of Haitus? You never know, TL might regain interest in the series before that limit is up. Ofc if a different TL comes to some kind of agreement with the current TL that would be fine too
i read latest post from translator, he said he regained interest on it again. hope can read translated chapter soon
