After the first meeting of Irene and ML what chapter did they meet again?
TYSM for sharing the chapters ! I loved reading them x I'm guessing ML will act as the neutralizer since he has a colder disposition (pheromones?)
I'm hoping we could see more episodes ❤
I'm really sorry i was going to post chapters this week but i just noticed i have an exam next week and i really have to study hard for it. i promise i post mtl chapters mext week.
Thank you so much for the MTL's @Manhwalover356 I hope your exam goes well!
I have a feeling that person who would be medium for our Irene would be our ML. Like isn't he from the north where it is cold? As black mamba pheromones are hot so his tiger pheromones can neutralize it them ( this is a guess lol )
I think the same! He is from the north where it's cold so maybe?
Hi everyone, just dropping to let you guys know i’ll be translating the novel starting from chap 40 onwards. I’ve already send the chap link for approval to NU. Do support ^^
i also have the mtl ver of the novel if anyone is interested
94 blink blink. Eyes opened. My fever was so high that I couldn’t sleep all night, but I had lost my last memory of Kaid hugging me. “……Appa?” I frowned as I called for Kai. It was because his throat was locked and it stinged. I was lying still and staring at the ceiling when I heard a voice right next to me. “I just woke up. Is there any discomfort?” “uh?” “The fever has gone down.” Kaid put his hand on his forehead and checked his body temperature. As he smiled bashfully at the pleasant coolness, Kaid laughed together. “It’s nice to see you smiling.” “Yeah, it’s completely easy.” I felt very refreshed because it was after I was very sick. There was nothing wrong with the saying that children grow up with sickness. “By the way, when are we coming home?” “at dawn.” “That’s right.” I turned my body completely to the direction where Kaid was sitting, and as I was talking, I heard a fat voice from the other side. “Hey, can’t you see us?” “Huh? Arban Oppa?” When I turned my upper body upright, I found Set and Arbando on the other side of the chair. “Your body looks fine now.” “Come on, Ganchana.” “Take this.”
Set handed what he was holding in his hand. It was a thick paper bag. What is this? He said looking at him curiously. “These are the pictures you took.” “really?” “I went with Arban and changed it.” Did you two change pictures together? In disbelief, I opened the envelope. There were actually pictures I took. “Your camera is on the desk.” “Ugh. Thank you, Oppas.” “With something like that.” Arban answered bluntly. I felt better and started putting the pictures one by one on the bed. They both showed interest as they hadn’t checked the photos yet. “I took a lot of pictures.” “Ugh. I can’t see Set Oppa and Arbang Oppa anymore when they become adults.” What you see now can only be seen through photos. So you have to take a lot of pictures. If it wasn’t painful, I could have taken more pictures. I also felt a little sad. Arban coughed in vain. Then lets take more pictures. “Do you have to go every day to do that?” “That’s not a problem.” Set answered with a picture. At first I was hesitant to take pictures, but when I saw the pictures of myself, it didn’t look bad. You should put one of these in your photo album. I don’t want to lose even a single one, so I’ll put it back in the bag for now.
As I started collecting the photos again, Set put down the photos he was holding. “But where is Rodaria?” I went to Hestia to get some medicine. “Am I okay now?” “You have to eat to avoid having a high fever like yesterday.” “What are you talking about?” I heard that something like yesterday could happen again in the future. Kaid began to explain in a subdued voice. “The reason you had a high fever yesterday was because of a pheromone collision. And Hestia said it will continue to happen in the future.” Kaid started explaining to me what had happened. The story that the more you grow, the more difficult it may be to handle pheromones, and the story that it will become more difficult if you go through mid-growth. As Kaid continued to explain, Set and Arban were busy examining my complexion. Perhaps he thought that he would be sad to hear such a story. “You mean if you don’t take the gourm medicine, you’ll keep getting sick?” “……okay.” “That’s right. Find out, Papa.” I nodded my head calmly. Then Kaid narrowed his brow. “What do you want to know?” “Uh?” “Did you not understand the explanation now? If you don’t find a way, you’ll have to live like that for the rest of your life.” “……” “But you know?” Kaid seemed angry at my calm attitude. As if you were angry on my behalf.
I couldn’t say anything. Because it felt like my heart was being stabbed. Actually, it wasn’t good at all. No one will. It wasn’t my fault that I did this, so I was embarrassed. I have to live in a state of anxiety for the rest of my life, who can immediately accept it? I could vaguely understand why Kaid was angry. He was angry at the fact that I had to live in an insecure state. And he seemed to want me to honestly say I wasn’t okay. But if I said that, Kaid would be hurt. I was hoping that wouldn’t happen. “Actually, I don’t care. I’m so mad. I probably wouldn’t have been like this if I had been born and used like this.” Kaid took a breath. I continued to say. “But if it were, I would not have met Papa. And it is not Papa’s fault.” The reason I had to be sick was because I absorbed Kaid’s pheromone, but it was also the reason I was born. The beasts who do not receive nutrients from the eggs die. “It’s so close because I was born here and met everyone.” It wasn’t because I wasn’t angry. It was simply because there was no one to do it. “It’s not the only way to get carried away.” “……right.” “Then go ahead. Right?” Kaid’s mood softened. I felt relieved when I said this. Arban, who was nervous, heard a small sigh. Set looked at me with a strange face. “You’re strong, Irene.”
“Come on, I’m not weak! Are you strong?” I’m very strong now. Really. I even knocked down a tree in the forest. In addition, if the growth direction was changed like the Black Mamba now, the physical ability would be improved more than now. To be honest, that was a bit good. Now, I thought I could blend into the family a little more. It’s not that I felt left out, though. click. The door opened and Rosaria returned. In her hand was a sachet of powdered medicine. I felt like I had to eat that every day from now on. A bright smile appeared on Rosaria’s face as she saw me up. “Irene-sama!” “Rodaria!” I jumped out of bed and ran. Rosaria must have been very surprised. Besides, he must have been upset because he had kept many secrets from Rosaria until now. “Rhodaria, Ganzana?” Rosaria, who hugged me, paused. But soon he nodded. “Okay. I’m fine. I understand why you had to keep Irene-sama’s business a secret from me.” “My dear.” “Irene-sama, what are you sorry about? At first I was angry, but now I don’t mind. Now I just hope Irene’s condition improves.” Rosaria released the arm that held me. As she knelt down and looked at my body, she suddenly looked down and made a startled expression on her face. “Oh?” “Why?”
“The clothes have gotten smaller.” Are your clothes smaller? I bowed my head together. Originally, the length of the skirt should have come down to the ankle. Very little, but the legs were exposed. How can you grow like this in one day? Does this have anything to do with mid-growth? Black Mamba is growing so fast? I blinked my eyes in embarrassment. So, will I be able to look like a 10-year-old now? Irene has grown taller. “It looks like the middle growth has started.” “What the hell is this…” I looked at my legs blankly. It seems that the ground is a little farther away after knowing it? I was debating whether I should like it or not. I said that the more I grow, the fewer drugs I can replace in the future. I like it because it’s tall. I wiggled the corners of my lips in joy I couldn’t hide. “Hey, if you like it, just smile. You look so weird right now.” “Are you smiling?” “I’d rather laugh.” “I’m tall!” As they shouted with joy, Rosaria rallied together. “Wow, Irene is really tall!” “Now I’m growing like my oppas!” I heard that there is a limit to the body’s growth until it becomes an adult. Now I can grow up too! Set and Arban sighed and laughed as if they couldn’t dry it.
Kaid’s face showed complexity, but once I smiled, he was smiling after me. “At this rate, I’ll have to call Dante right away.” “Dante Sam-joon?!” Whoever wants to be, uncle. “It’s a threesome!” I walked over to the side of Zorrkaid. Then I leaned my arms over his legs and looked up. “When are you coming?” “When would you like to come?” “Very fast. Tomorrow!” “Then let me send you a letter like that.” “Wow!” I spread my arms out to the side as a sign of joy. and……. bang! “……Uh?” A small bookshelf installed on the wall next to the bed fell to the floor with a loud noise. I looked at my arms outstretched and stiff. That’s weird. Although I grew stronger, I didn’t get this kind of superpower with my bare hands that didn’t contain pheromones. He said, looking at the fallen bookshelf with eyes that Set was absurd. “Your father just told you. Growth will be similar to that of a black mamba.” “…Knowing and doing this.” “I don’t think you know.” Does that mean I have to live in this uncontrolled state in the future? Not only in the room, but in the mansion, it seemed that all the objects would not be left behind. I timidly lowered my arms.
95 The Aselod family of the west. A letter in a luxurious envelope arrived at a peaceful place. The originator was the Astropel family. Dante, who opened the envelope engraved with a gold pattern on one side, smoothly with a letter knife, read the contents seriously, and smiled when he saw the phrase on the last line. [PS Irene misses you.] I want to see my uncle, so of course I have to go see it. It was a voice full of joy. Dante got up, kicking the chair. He was ready to leave at any moment. Adviser Yones looked at Dante with tears in his eyes, not suitable for his large size. If Dante left like this, he had to take charge of the work alone. Yones opened his mouth, hoping that he was wrong. “…are you sure you’re not going south now?” “That’s right.” “Then… what is this?” Yoneth pointed to the pile of documents. Among them, many important documents required Dante’s permission. “Trust me, Yones.” Dante answered with a bright smile and brazenly. Yoneth, who felt he was losing his mind, cried out in tears. “Don’t believe me. Never trust me!” As Yoneth stood up, beating the desk, the pile of papers wobbled and fell to the floor. It was pretty noisy. This is because all objects used by the Iselod family were made for their large size, the bear clan.
Seeing the documents scattered on the floor, Yoneth’s eyes darkened. Now, only the papers have collapsed, and now when Dante is gone, it will be piled up on a pile of papers. Yoneth was desperately deterred. “Since when did you say you had a nephew? Being the only child!” Its not just that uncles and nephews are related by blood. Then you call me brothers with Kaid-sama, why?! “Don’t say anything terrible.” “Dante!” Dante ignored the desperate call to himself and began to burn the letter. Yones asked with a questioning tone. “Why are you burning that? You don’t normally do that.” “Because I need to.” “…I wonder what happened to the Astropel family?” Worry flashed on Yoneth’s face. I wondered if it would catch fire from the tip, but the letter was curled up inside and burned so cleanly that its shape was unrecognizable. Dante didn’t answer Yoneth’s question, but instead brought up something else. “More than that, where was the cold poison plant stored?” “Why are you looking for poisonous weeds that are classified as handling precautions?” “To take it as a gift.” Dante laughed softly. Yoneth, who was squatting on the floor, sorting through the papers, looked at him, asking if he was serious. “…Who gives such a gift? No matter how close the two of you are, there is only one friend of the headmaster, Kaid-nim.” “Yones, are your wills over?”
“…I made a mistake.” Yoneth politely raised his hands forward and changed his attitude. “By the way, are you really taking cold poison vinegar as a gift?” Cold poison vinegar was famous for holding deadly poison. Even a small amount put it in your mouth and instantly took away your body temperature, putting your life in jeopardy. Although it was a rare poisonous plant, it was quite visible from the west, so the cold poisonous plant was thoroughly managed by the Iselrod family. In the last few years, the drawer containing the poisonous plant has never been opened. On a day when the number would even decrease, the family would be turned over. “Kaid said it was different.” “He uses his own poison, so why do you want that?” “I’ll go ask and let you know.” Yoneth’s blood pressure rose. In the end, it meant going south. Yoneth wrapped her trembling forehead. Dante walked out of the office and waved slyly. “You’re guarding the house while I’m away, Yoneth.” * A week has passed since the day I suffered from high fever. A lot had happened in between. First of all, Set and Arban had to leave the mansion for a while for secondary growth. “Brothers, you have to go.” I will, Irene. Dont forget to take your medicine too. “Yeah. You must succeed and come back!” “Hey, are we afraid we’ll fail to escape? Okay, so let’s go in now. Anyone who sees it will think we’re going to do something big.”
under the hot sun. Arban said tremblingly. That’s because he had been standing in front of the gate for over 30 minutes, repeating the same greeting over and over again. I couldn’t walk away, so I grabbed Kaid’s hand next to me. Its not like that but you should still go. It’s not common, but I’ve heard that there are cases of death if something goes wrong while molting. Of course, that wouldn’t happen to the two of them, but it was unavoidable to have worries in their hearts. In the end, I cried and cried aloud. “Oppaah, ah ah ah ah, don’t go…!” “…I think it’s better to leave now. Have a good trip. Set, Arban.” “Yes.” “Yes, I’ll go then.” Arban and Set answered. “I’ll go.” Durias and Orca, who were attached as attendants, left with them. Where he was going was completely a secret. He said that only the person who was selected as an attendant and Kaid knew the location, as he became defenseless while evacuating. And I was growing so fast that those around me were surprised. How fast is it, exaggerating a bit to say that it is different in the morning and different in the evening? People in my family were amazed whenever they saw me. So is it? “…Did I get the date wrong? I think it’s been several months instead of ten days…”
Asher, who had met in ten days, muttered in disbelief. He couldn’t take his eyes off of me as I was surprised that I had grown up to his waist in a few days. “Asher!” On the way back after receiving special training from Casa. I met Asher in the garden and waved my hand warmly. “Lady, who is Iza?” But right in front of me was blocked. This was because Messiah was wary of the appearance of a stranger. Mess’ eyes were sharp. In a way, it was a natural reaction. This will be the first time the two of them have met. “Asher.” “Do you know anyone?” “Um, I don’t know. We only know each other by name.” I decided to stay behind Messiah as he would like. Aser accepted Kaid’s proposal and agreed to become a liaison between the Atban and Astropel families… However, he did not believe in Asher. After all, he was a member of the Loisar family. It was thought that he could turn his back on the interests of the family at any time. “…I understand the boundaries of the escort, but if it’s too much, I don’t know what to do.” “Are you here to see Daddy?” “That’s right.” Asher seemed to be offended by Messiah’s attitude, but he did not know whether he was aware of his situation.
However, if this situation continued, the atmosphere seemed to get worse. I quickly grabbed Mess’s arm and said, “It’s okay. I’m here to see Dad.” “Lord?” “Yeah. And you’re going to teach me about flying in the future. You’ll be here every week, right?” Asher replied shakily. “…that’s right. I’m going to give you a flight class every week.” He had a confused expression as he did not know that he was really going to be taking flight lessons. Messiah lightly bowed his head in apology. “Okay. Excuse me.” However, Mess did not move more than a certain distance from me. Asher nodded her head calmly and answered. “It’s fine. …By the way, what happened in ten days?” “I won’t tell you.” “……” Asher was silent. He seemed perplexed by my firm answer. To be honest, I still don’t know how far I can talk to Asher. I thought it would be better to be careful because I don’t want to make any mistakes. Because I said it’s best not to be known about me as much as possible. As we walked side by side to the mansion, I felt a smirk in my eyes. Asher muttered in amazement. “…Are you about six years old?” But as my hearing improved, I could immediately understand the words.
I replied with a grim expression. “I’m seven years old.” “It’s not like that.” “Seven years old.” How can this body not be seven years old? If you look at the age table of the number, it clearly had the characteristics of being seven years old. Now I was able to speak clearly even the words I couldn’t pronounce, and the indistinguishable torso began to be differentiated little by little. It meant that she was finally freed from the baby’s body. So, this is a decent seven-year-old. Asher said in a bewildered way. “Age doesn’t matter. It’s just an indicator.” “okay?” “That’s right.” “Okay, then I’ll be seven.” Then, I should feel more comfortable and say that I am seven years old. Because it’s not important. Messi let out a small laugh. He knew why I was doing this. That’s right…… I think the Lord made a lot of fun. “Chi. My dad always looks at me and says I’m small. It’s getting bigger all the time.” This was a recent problem. Kaid acted like he couldn’t see me growing up. Kaid looked like he didn’t like me growing up so fast. Every time we met, other people were happy to say that we are already big again. Only one person, Kaid, did not. Every time Kaid looked at me, he said ‘still small’ and pressed his forehead firmly.
At first, I thought it was because I was worried about the aftermath of middle growth, but my senses were screaming. It’s not because of that. My dissatisfied murmur flashed across Mess’s self. His lips rose in a meaningful arc. Mess looked around, then immediately bowed down and whispered in my ear that it was a secret. “It’s a real secret, but I’m only telling you specially.” “Secret? What is it?” I lowered my voice together. Asher, who was walking next to him, also stopped, wondering if he was curious. “Maybe that’s why the headmistress says that because she doesn’t use respectful words like everyone else.”
96 “Polite word?” “Yes. Does the headmaster also tell Master Set or Master Arban that he is young?” What about Set and Arban? I immediately shook my head, saying that I had never done that. I had never heard Kaid say that to the two of them. “Look at that. It’s also because of respect.” “Huh, is that so?” My mind flashed as if I had realized something huge. I think Messiah is right! Because I didn’t speak respectfully, Kaid was always treating me like a kid. I quickly whispered again. “Then you’re saying it’s okay to respect your dad?” “Yes. Then the headmaster will change his mind?” I nodded eagerly, listening to what Mess had to say. Asher, who was watching us from the side like that, made an embarrassed expression. “…I’m sorry to interrupt you, but even if you do that, you’re a 7-year-old kid.” “What are you talking about, Asher?” I put my hand on my waist and flicked my index finger left and right. Seven is still a child, but seven is the most grown-up in childhood. I didn’t forget to say thank you to Mess. “Thanks for letting me know, Mess.” “Yes. I wish you the best of luck, miss. Be sure to tell us about your review as well.” “Sure.” This time around, I’m sure I’ll hear from Kaid that he’s growing well. That was then. Baon’s voice came from behind. “I asked why you didn’t come, and you were with the lady in the garden.” Asher didn’t come even after waiting inside, so Baon seemed to have come to find him. Asher lightly bowed his neck to Baon. “I must have delayed too much. Come to find me.” “The Lord is waiting for you. From now on, I will guide you.” When Baon appeared, Messiah waved his hand saying that he should be strong, and then disappeared. He was probably watching from somewhere around him. “Come here.” Baon took the lead and led the way. I followed him, side by side with Asher. Asher, who entered the Black Mamba stronghold, seemed a bit nervous. It seemed that the atmosphere was quite different from the previous negotiations. Baon spoke in a tone that had no soul. “You’ve worked hard to come a long way.” “No. But the atmosphere in the mansion seems to have changed a bit.” At that time, everyone was instructed to leave. “There must be a reason for that. Somehow, it was very different.” “However…….” Baon opened his mouth. he asked, smirking slightly. “The first contact with the Artban family seemed to take some time… You got the job done pretty quickly, didn’t you?”At that moment, Asher’s complexion darkened. Baon’s eyes narrowed, not missing the subtle changes. “Did anything happen?” “…I will tell you everything when I arrive.” “I think something happened.” Baon’s steps stopped. Suddenly, we arrived in front of the drawing room. The moment Baon was about to knock, Asher asked. “Are you going in with the girl too?” “Yes, but.” “…aren’t you still too young?” “It’s the Lord’s judgment that it’s better to know nothing, because you have to know your own business.” smart. Baon opened the drawing room door and entered. Inside, Kaid had arrived and was waiting for us. “dad!” “I sent a separate person, but the three of us are coming together. How did the union come about?” “Yeah, that’s…!” I tried to answer comfortably and covered my mouth. I even talked hard with Mess, but I almost forgot. From now on, I was supposed to say respect! When I suddenly stopped what I was saying, Kaid looked at me with a puzzled but very excited look. As if it was something else this time. The narrow red eyes were looking at the sim as if trying to figure out what I was going to do. I smiled bashfully. And this time, without forgetting, he answered with respect and conciseness.“I met Asher and Baon in the garden and came with me, Dad.” And the ripple effect of respectful words was great. “……what?” Kaid remained silent for a moment with a shocked expression, then raised his eyebrows. At the same time, there was a sound of Baon taking a deep breath. Baon rubbed his ears over and over again, incredulous that I said respectful words. Silent end of a few seconds. Kaid, who had been hardened, opened his mouth only after a while. “Now, what did you say?” He didn’t seem to be in shock yet. But, as Mess said, it really does work! Will you change your mind about me now? I answered with a broad smile. “We came together from the garden! Baon and Asher!” Then, Kaid’s expression hardened much more terrifyingly than before. ……what? Isn’t this Messi said it was okay to do this, but the mood was gradually sinking. Somehow things weren’t going the way I wanted them to. I could see Baon stepping back a little. I slowly pulled my ass back from sitting on the sofa. Red eyes followed frightfully. “Big.” At that moment, Baon covered his mouth and tried to hold back his laughter. He was shaking his shoulders. “Keep, sir. You will be very moved by your respectful words.”“…Be quiet, Baon.” “You’re all grown up, Irene-sama.” Kai frowned. The drawing room was drawn with polar opposites. Baon is watching with his eyes twinkling as if it’s fun, and Kaid, whose expression hardens to the point of being frightened. Finally, even Asher, who stood by the three of us with a look of absurdity as to whether he had finished understanding the situation. Baon asked with a smiley voice. “By the way, may I ask why you started saying respectful words out of the blue?” Why did you say respect? yea……. My dad always said it was a long way from growing up, so Im being respectful. “Hey, you’re just trying to show how much you’ve grown.” “right.” “Then do you keep talking to me?” “Ugh. You only say respectful things to your dad.” “Hey, this… It’s an honor…, poop, yo.” After hearing my explanation, Baon finally grabbed his stomach and started to laugh. I tilted my head. Why are you laughing like that? As I was looking at Baon in a mysterious way, I felt a gloomy energy next to me. I stiffened my body. “It’s ridiculous.” Kaid touched his forehead. He looked at me and sighed. It was a look of ‘how do I do this’. “This time, from whom did you hear what?” “It’s a secret…, yo.”“So you’re going to keep saying respectful things that don’t suit you?” At my steadfast respectful words, Kaid smirked. He seemed to have a lot to say, but he didn’t ask any more because Asher was there. “I can’t keep doing this with guests, so let’s put things off for a while.” “Yes.” I replied coldly. Kaid wiggled his eyebrows as if he didn’t like the answer. The atmosphere changed again. Asher took a sip of tea calmly in the atmosphere where the main topic was about to begin. “First of all, contact with the Artban family is over. Fortunately, the Artban headman has met me.” “Hey, I guess we’ve met.” Yeahbut there was a bit of a problem in the process. “Is there a problem?” Kaid narrowed his brow. It’s still in the contact phase, but you’re already in trouble? Asher’s complexion darkened in an instant. “Look what happened.” Asher lowered her gaze at Kaid’s confident voice. He licked his lips a few times, interlocked, and then sighed. After a while, Asher opened her mouth. “By the way, how many forwards did you see?” “What does that mean?” “Didn’t you tell me at the time of the negotiation that it’s okay to tell the truth if things are not going well?” At those words, Kaid made an impression. So, does that mean that you have gone to the Atban family and made a false statement?“…it wasn’t meant to be like that in the first place.” Asher continued speaking as if making excuses. “…There was a circumstance that had no choice but to do so.” “What’s the matter?” Did something happen to the Artban family that forced me to confide in everything? Kaid patiently waited for Aser’s reply. Aser, who had washed his face dry, opened his mouth heavily. “It seemed that there was someone in the Loisar family who had an affair with the Atban Gaju.” what? I widened my eyes in surprise. Kaid and Baon had a calm attitude, which was the answer they had expected. Asher closed her eyes. “No, I’m sure.” His voice was already low. He clenched his fists so hard that his tendons were visible and the back of his hand turned white, as if it was difficult for him to admit that there was a traitor in his family. The suppressed voice was boiling with anger. “There are other insiders in the Loisar family except me.”
97 “I expected that. That’s why I sent everyone out except for you.” Rather than being surprised, Baon answered bluntly. I was surprised by Asher’s words, and I was greatly relieved. At the same time, tongue out at a phenomenal level of sophistication. No, actually, everything that happened on the day of the negotiation was all ordered by Kaid. So, should I say that Kaid is great? I couldn’t pinpoint just one person. Because everyone who was there was great. It was a moment that showed how many people occupy a place in the head family. I thought I was spending my time sitting next to Kaid every day and just taking stamps on a fictitious day. It didn’t seem like it was. I saw Baon again. “Wow, Baon is amazing.” “Because it is difficult to control the family just by controlling the head and successor. Of course, I would have planted the Kana grass.” Baon explained in a relaxed manner. I opened my mouth and opened my eyes. Baon is cool! “That’s the basic knowledge.” “Is this basic knowledge?!” “Yes. Don’t forget it, remember it. You will use it later.” “Okay, I get it.” Don’t forget and remember As I nodded my head saying I knew, Kaid, who was next to me, chuckled. I felt reassured that I was on the same side as Baon. If I had met you as an enemy, I would have been very scared.Asher looked at the two of us with a puzzled expression. “Usually it’s not called basic literacy….Is the education law here originally like this?” Its because practice is important for anything. At Baon’s attitude, which was taken for granted, Asher seemed to be at a loss for words. So, how did you know that you had an insider? Kaid asked. Asher later came to her senses and explained. “…they knew that the former head of state was imprisoned in the Southern Jail.” “I guess you haven’t informed the family about it yet.” “Yes. Only the elders in the family know.” If it was known that the heir had been taken hostage and that even the headmaster had been imprisoned, the Loisar family would collapse immediately. It was understandable why only the elders knew and kept it a secret. I nodded and paused. Wait a minute. So, isn’t that an insider among the elders? I was surprised. The betrayal of the elder who took responsibility and led the family together. It was such a terrible thing. Kaid, who was listening to Asher’s explanation, murmured as if it was interesting. “You did it on purpose.” “My thoughts are the same as the Lord.” Baon nodded in agreement. “It seems that by letting you know that there is a Knapull, Sir Asher has no choice but to tell the truth.” “It bothered me.” Kaid frowned and clicked his tongue slightly. Baon looked at Asher and asked. “Does Atban Gaju know that Sir Asher visited the South today?”“……That’s right.” Asher nodded heavily. Kaid muttered that it was understandable. “You must have been under surveillance.” “…Probably so. He seemed suspicious. And he told me to call him regularly.” “I think you’re trying to reverse the situation.” Those words made me nervous too. Knowing that Asher was sent as a spy, but boldly trying to take advantage of the current situation. I had never met him in person, but he seemed to know for sure that the art class headman was a scary person. “Did you find any evidence?” Baon asked. I was asking if I had found any traces of Estella’s death and the process of sending me to the Astropel family. Asher shook her head heavily. “No. Artvan California says they have removed all traces. Actually, I went back to the east and searched the offices and bedrooms of California, but nothing came out.” “That’s why you’re so confident. There’s nothing to take on.” Baon frowned. Things weren’t going well. Soon, Baon muttered in a puzzled tone. “But it’s a little strange. The art class head knows that it’s a gamble. He doesn’t know that Miss Ella is gone.” “So is it.” Kaid’s eyes narrowed. He hadn’t said that he was thinking about something for a while. I nodded my head in agreement with Baon. As he said, there was no way he had not known that Ella had disappeared until now.Besides, right after Ella disappeared, didn’t the Astropel family send Aser as a spy to the Atban family? He would have known that his tail had been trampled on. Aser also nodded his head, wondering if that part was questionable. “Usually I would have stepped out.” If I had been sane, I would have. How did I say that I’m not crazy? I shook my head. Baon looked at Kaid with a serious expression on his face and asked. I wonder if the head of the art class knows something about the young lady? “You cannot rule out the possibility.” Kai replied calmly. Then Baon’s face hardened. I glanced at both curiously. What do you know about me? Are you wondering if you know that you have two pheromones? But I couldn’t understand why they wanted me so persistently just because I had two pheromones. How would having my two pheromones help the artvan owner? In fact, Gray still couldn’t understand why he was trying to steal me. I hopefully looked up at Kaid. …Maybe there is something about me that Kaid hasn’t explained yet? He was still thoughtful, with his chin resting on the armrest of the sofa. He was so focused that he couldn’t even notice my gaze. It was then that I realized that the current situation was more serious than I thought. And I realized that I was the target of Art Van Gaju.Should I say I’ve been alerted? The living room was quiet again. Aser had an expression on his face that he did not know why the two of them were so serious. After not saying anything for a while, Kaid finally opened his mouth. He quietly called Asher. “Asher.” “Yes.” “I wish I could explain the situation when the heir to the Loisar family was taken away.” “…Why are you asking that all of a sudden?” There is such a thing, so tell me whatever comes to mind. It was a random question. Asher suddenly had a face that did not know why she was asking this. It was the same with me. What does the current situation have to do with the capture of the heir to the Loisar family, so why are you asking such a question? Aser wondered if he could recall the memories of that time, and then immediately turned into an angry expression. “At that time, some elders, including the former head of the family and myself, were often absent. …The situation in the east was unstable, so it was to strengthen the alliance with the surrounding clan.” “I did.” “But then something happened. The Atban clan attacked the previous headman and elders while they were away.” Asher’s calm gold eyes filled with anger. The low voice trembled faintly. “They were merciless. They indiscriminately slaughtered our clan who stood in the way and took Jeff, the successor, away. There were many victims.”“I see. Did other families also suddenly attack?” Kaid, who was listening to Asher, continued to ask questions that he did not understand. I tilted my head. Because he still couldn’t guess what Kaid’s intentions were. It wasn’t just me. Everyone here was unaware of Kaid’s intentions. Asher frowned. Just thinking about that day seemed painful. “I didn’t have time to look around, so I don’t know the circumstances of the other families… but why are you asking this?” “I think it’s from then.” “What?” Kaid’s fingers, which had been knocking on the table regularly, stopped. At the same time, his red eyes looked directly at Asher. “A time when there was someone who had an affair with the Atban family.” “…what is that…” Asher’s eyes fluttered dangerously. I looked up and looked at Kaid in surprise. So, all of the questions you’ve asked Asher so far are all trying to determine when the Loisar family had an insider? Baon nodded his head. “It’s certainly suspicious, because it’s not known outside of the head of a family and the elders.” “Is that a secret?” “That’s right.” Then the Atban family knew the secret beforehand. Asher shook her head in disbelief. “…but the Atban family must have known that our family was often vacant at that time.” Of course you would have known.Kaid spoke mercilessly to Asher, who was still ignoring reality. “Because there must have been someone giving them information.”
98 “That’s nonsense.” Asher didn’t want to admit that she had been deceived by her clan for a long time. But Kaid snorted. “You want to believe it’s a coincidence? Did the Artban family get lucky?” “……” “That’s funny.” Even when I first heard the detailed story, Kaid’s words were very convincing. Baon said with a helping hand. “Someone has opened the door to the family. It’s reckless to attack blindly.” “If you want to check the confronting Miat clan, of course there must have been an insider.” Asher showed a sign of confusion. In the east, the Miat clan, a wolf clan, and the Atban clan, a jaguar clan, are currently in a confrontation. Anything that would cause a loss of power would not be easy to do. This meant that, as it were, an insider had been planted in the Loisar family for a long time. I was surprised that Kaid made a guess so far with just one clue that he had an insider. After drinking the lukewarm tea, Kaid looked at Asher and said. “A guy with a crooked back always has a way out.” “…Are you saying the evidence will be there somewhere?” “Yeah. I have to have at least one piece of evidence to protect my life.” Even the same clan betrayed him, but there was no way he could truly trust the Atban family. Asher still looked down at the floor with a blank expression on her face.It seemed difficult to get out of the shock. As soon as the situation was grasped to a certain extent, Baon put on an uneasy expression. “Can anyone guess, Sir Asher?” No one comes to mind right now. Then, finding the insider would be the first priority. After all, if you want to find evidence, isn’t it important to first find out who the insider is? Because Kaid wanted it. But Kaid shook his head saying that wasn’t the case. “No, there’s something more important before that.” “What is it?” Baon asked as if he did not know. I rolled my eyes. Is there anything more important than finding an insider? What is it? I listened seriously. “It seems like I keep forgetting it. I want you to remember that Irene’s flight teacher also decided to do it.” “…I haven’t forgotten. Don’t worry, I’ll give you a class as well.” Asher clenched her teeth and cut off one letter at a time. Normally, things like this aren’t easy, so I’d say go back. Kaid was also different. He laughed slowly. “I’m glad you didn’t forget. Then I want you to go to the forest and wait for me.” “Weren’t you going with Miss Irene?” Asher asked curiously. I was curious about whether I should go alone first. At his question, Kaid’s lips rose dangerously. “Irene has a business to see with me for a while.”Got something to see with me? what to see I asked what it was and looked at Baon sitting opposite him. Then Baon laughed. “It was, yes. Then Sir Asher, I will guide you to the forest.” “So.” “Wake up.” Baon urged Asher to stand up quickly. When the two left the drawing room, the room became quiet. Kaid, who had been quiet for a while with his arms folded, looked down at me. The narrow red eyes were staring at me tenaciously. Why, why are you looking at me like this? Maybe it’s because I just said respectful things? I slowly retreated back. It was because I realized why the two were left alone. I smiled bashfully. I felt a cold sweat coming out of my back. “It’s no use laughing like that, so why don’t you just tell me?” “What, what? I don’t know.” As I naturally gave respect, Kaid’s lips grew even deeper. “I don’t know. I think I know well.” Could it be that Messiah knew this, but told him to be respectful? Now that I think about it, every move he made in the garden was suspicious. Everything from looking around to see who was around and whispering in my ear so that only I could hear it was a secret. It was the Messiah’s scheme! I cried. Kaid didn’t seem to want to let this happen. As he rolled his eyes and said something different, Kaid shook his head sternly. The twisted lips contained displeasure. “I can hear you rolling your head all the way here.” “……Hib.” “Irene Astropel. Who told you to do that?” Kaid grabbed my cheeks tightly with one hand. It was an unexpected surprise. His hand pressed against his plump cheeks and his lips protruded. As if that was fun, Kaid clenched his cheeks. Hey. When I started crying, he laughed like a villain, telling me to speak. “Hey ah! (Let go of this!)” “If you tell me, I’ll let you go.” “…Hey, hey. (It’s a secret.)” “Even if your body grows, you still have flesh on your cheeks.” “Hey! (No!)” I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head. Kaid looked at me like that and clicked his tongue. Then he gave me a pitiful expression for not revealing who the culprit was until the end. “You don’t seem to want to say anything. Shall I guess who the culprit is?” “……Uh?” It must be the Messiah without even hearing about it. “synthesis.” “I see.” I shrugged and shrugged my shoulders. Too pissed off But how did you know that you didn’t take out Mess’ Meadow? Kai shook his head. “Because he’s the only one who lives as if he has two lives.” “……”“Let’s check this out. Do you really have two lives? Slowly, I’m curious too.” dory dory. I quickly shook my head. Then Kaid tilted his head. “No?” “Uh.” “Then you’re going to bite me for saying respect?” “……Ummm.” “I’ll keep doing it, I’ll say it.” Kaid patted his cheek, telling him to answer it quickly. I was in serious trouble. As the silence grew longer, Kaid’s eyes twitched. But I’m not doing this for nothing! “Hey, I guess he was sad to hear that he was grown up by Nadu Abpa.” But Kaid always says he’s small! During that time, I also had accumulated complaints, so I had a sullen expression on my face. Kaid let go of the ball he was holding and muttered tremblingly. “Did you say respect for that?” “Because my dad always tells me I’m young.” “It’s true that you’re still young.” I turned my head in embarrassment. Also, Kaid doesn’t like the fact that I’m growing up. “I want to hear from my dad that he’s growing up well! I wanted to hear from him, not from anyone else!” It felt good to hear from Hestiana Rozaria, but it was not very satisfying. Because Kaid wasn’t interested. The person I want to receive the most attention from is Kaid, not anyone else. At my words, Kaid closed his mouth with a slightly startled face.As if I didn’t know you had such a heart. “Daddy doesn’t like me growing up?” “…No, it’s not like that.” “Well then?” This time, I must also listen to the answer and move on. As I insistently questioned without backing down, Kaid covered his eyes. Like someone who was even asked a difficult question. After a while, he quietly opened his mouth. “I’m afraid that if I grow up too fast, I’ll leave soon.” “……Huh?” “So that’s it.” “……” “Then I have to let you go. You can grow up a little slower, Irene.” what is this sound? I blinked slowly in disbelief. What did Kaid say now? Are you saying that I didn’t admit it because I was afraid that I would become independent soon if I grew up quickly? I covered my mouth with both hands. Kaid frowned as if he was displeased with the fact that he had said such a thing. And he murmured dissatisfiedly, gauging the height of my grown up. “I thought it was a long way to grow up. You’ve already grown a span.” “…what, what was that?” When I found out the truth, a smirk leaked out. So you’re saying it wasn’t because I really hated growing up, right? When I laughed out loud because I was happy, Kaid reluctantly laughed along.“What are you laughing at?” “Don’t worry, Dad! I’ll live with you later!” “Puck.” “Really?” Kaid didn’t believe me at all, but he seemed to be in a good mood. I beat my chest in frustration and showed my little finger. “Really. Promise!” Kaid looked down at my little finger and put his own. Then lets pretend were deceived, shall we? “Chi. It’s true.” Kaid snorted. I put my hands together and smiled. The situation seemed to end like this. Now that I know his true intentions, there is no need to insist on respectful words. However, Kaid flashed his eyes toward the window as if there was still work to be done. “Stop leaving, Mess.” “……Ha, haha. Yes, did you call me. Lord.” Messiah flinched and showed up. He had a face that wanted to run away at any moment. Kaid clicked his tongue. “You’ve taught Irene useless things well.” “……sorry.” “Let’s change shift times for the time being. Let’s swap shifts with Karma.” “……all right.” Swap with Karma? I shook my head. Then, is Karma coming at this time instead of Messiah? “okay.” It’s only now that I see karma that I haven’t seen since the banquet.I wondered why he hadn’t seen me for a while, but it must have been early in the morning when the shift was not in sight with me. Mess shrugged his shoulders helplessly. But where did it end at this level? Even Kaid knew it was a joke and seemed to pass on it. “Then you better go to class. Asher will be waiting for you.” “Yeah! Then I’ll go see.” I got up. My heart pounded at the fact that I could finally learn to fly. Kaid called out Mess, who was about to hide. “Mesis.” “Yes.” “While Irene is learning to fly, make sure to watch her surroundings for suspicious movements.” “all right.”
99 “Can I do this?” “Spread it wider. Then I’ll plump straight to the ground.” Currently, I was taking flight lessons from Asher in the forest. I thought I would practice in the form of a human figure, but Asher first taught me how to flap my wings in a humanized state. “It’s important to ride well in the wind. No matter how many wings you have, if you can’t read the airflow, you’ll lose your center of gravity.” “How do you read the current?” Asher put on a puzzled expression. It was a look that he had never thought of in his head and read. “It’s hard to explain in words, because it’s usually learned naturally.” “Then I can learn it like that.” “Actually, Miss Irene is a little late. Time is important for anything…” Asher frowned. I could understand it without even having to listen to it. The timing is important, but I have a feeling that I missed it. “…and then you won’t be able to fly for the rest of your life?” “Well, I guess I’ll have to try it once.” Then why not? I felt worried. It was something I expected to some extent that I was late to learn to fly. But if you say you can’t fly, I think you’ll feel very bad. Looking up at Asher anxiously, he smiled. The most important ability for a bird is to fly, and you cant do it without it. “right?” “Yes. It’s late, so all you have to do is rush and learn.” ……Huh? I think I heard something wrong now? I glanced at Asher. He had a calm expression on his face, as if he had said something. “I thought it would be cumbersome, but it feels strange to be teaching. I feel like I’m teaching a child of the clan.” “It’s half right.” “Well, to be honest, you’re half right. This reminds me of the first time I learned to fly.” Asher smiled faintly as if she remembered her childhood. I looked at him in shock. I thought you were blunt in everything, but you laugh when you think of your childhood like that. Feeling the gaze I was looking at, Asher covered her mouth and coughed. Anyway, when I first learned to fly, I was both excited and scared. Are you scared, too? Anyone is afraid at first. So it’s no wonder I’m worried and scared of my first flight? It’s not just me, but Asher as well. I was blown away by his words. He exhaled, ‘who’, sweeping his chest. “How can I do that?” When he asked the question with a sad expression on his heart, Aser’s lips rose softly. “If you have that kind of motivation, you’ll learn quickly.”“Really? How fast?” You will learn much faster than you think. I opened my eyes in anticipation. At the same time, however, I had my doubts. I don’t think I’ll be able to learn quickly by listening to explanations in a humanized form like now… “Is there any other way besides telling you now?” “Yes, it is.” “How do you do that?” When I asked, Asher smiled brightly. “How do you do it? You learn it through your body. If you bump into something, it doesn’t grow quickly.” “……” “If you get pushed out of a tree, you’ll flap your wings to survive.” “……” “That’s how I learned it too. After a few repetitions, you’ll get used to it.” Asher explained in a simple and clear way and pointed to the tall tree. I followed the hand and raised my head blankly. The reason the trees look exceptionally tall today… Maybe it’s because of my mood? “Then I’ll go up, so would you mind making a handprint?” “…Oh, are you serious about that?” “Yes. It would not be a bad idea to practice the Black Mamba’s teaching method, which says that practical work is important for anything.” He was referring to what Baon had said. I immediately responded. “Now that I think about it, I don’t think that education method is good.” “I think it’s a pretty good way.” “…are you kidding me?”“You don’t have to worry too much. At least this isn’t a cliff.” It was a word that made my ears doubt. Does that mean that if there had been a cliff, they would have told you there? Looking at him with eyes full of disbelief, Asher stretched out one arm as if it were purple. Then the huge wings flapped and appeared. “See? Don’t worry, I’ll save you if you think you’re going to fall.” “…Really?” “Yes. My life is in danger if the girl goes wrong.” I don’t. And there’s Messiah nearby. In the worst case, he would come and save him. I decided to trust him only once. And he made the prints as requested by Asher. Pong! “……” “Beep, beep?” Are you okay now? Showing her changed body and asking, Aser’s golden eyes widened. He squatted down and muttered in amazement. “I expected it, but it’s really small. …well, I’m sure you’ll learn well. Hopefully the wind won’t blow it away.” “……beep?” what? I stiffened in shock. “Well, first of all, it’s a bird.” “Beep?! Beep!” What are you talking about? I didn’t say earlier that the wind might blow it away! “It’ll be fine.” Asher held me in her arms and flew up vertically. I inhaled. He seemed to blink for a moment, but before he knew it, he had reached the top of the tree. Asher carefully laid me down. “Beep, beep.” Whew oh oh The wind blew strongly. Dozens of trees were planted everywhere, so the wind seemed to be blowing harder. “Beep, beep, beep…” I don’t think this is It’s too high here. I hugged the tree tightly and held out. Then Asher reached out to me. It looked like it was trying to rip off my wings. I shouted loudly. “Beep!” Do not come! go away! But everything was in vain. Asher grabbed me very easily. The legs that had been supporting and giving strength to the tree flew into the air helplessly. I looked at the distant land and shook my head desperately. “Beep beep!” Asher tapped my wings and said. “Do you remember what I explained earlier? At first, it flaps its wings quickly, and then straightens them when the wind catches them.” “Beep!” The survival instincts of beasts are sometimes surprising, so dont worry too much. “Beep, beep!” Wait, wait! “Wait a minute or something, let it go.” Asher listened to me and refused at once. tuk. At the same time, the strength in the hand holding my body loosened. “Beep!”The ground began to approach at a tremendous speed. I flapped my wings as hard as I could. Flap. Thump Thump! Asher didn’t show any movement until the last moment I fell. to save you He said that if it gets in danger, he will come and rescue him! No need to worry! A deep sense of betrayal came over me. I should have recognized him from the moment I reassured him by showing him his big wings. Asher opened her mouth dryly. “Oh, I forgot to tell you earlier, but you can’t keep kicking your feet. Then you’ll fall faster.” “Beepy?!” “I didn’t say it because it was too obvious, but I thought I’d do it.” It must have been that he didn’t say that on purpose. It was obvious that he was trying to get him to fly somehow by driving him into an atrocity. Does this mean that practice is important? I moved my wings with all my might. Small wings moved quickly in the air. Let’s see, Asher. puffy. I grinded my beak. And as I looked at the floor getting closer and closer, I closed my eyes tightly. Falls!
100 snap. “……beep?” I felt my body stopped in the air not far from the ground and opened my eyes. Asher, who had only been watching from the tree until just a moment ago, had caught me. It was great speed. I felt relieved and my body relaxed. Still, emotions soared. “Beep! Beep!” I pecked Asher’s hand with my beak. But he only patted his chin. “Hmm. I thought this would work. It failed.” “Beep? Beep?” “Yes. Failure. Shall we try one more time?” Are you going to do this again now? Asher pointed to another tree this time. “I think I’ll succeed if I do it in a slightly taller tree.” “Beep!” No, I think I have acrophobia. Asher smirked. “Where’s the phobia of birds? Is that a bird?” “……” Asher was relentless. They waved their legs and waved their wings, saying they couldn’t be dragged away like this, but to no avail. Asher climbed up a taller tree. “I hope you succeed this time. Stay focused. We’ll stop when you’re only halfway successful.” “…beep?” “Yes. Really.” There was no sincerity in Asher’s tone. Now he was lying without saliva in his mouth. with no intention of quitting. I looked down trembling in desperation. I never dreamed that living a new life would be so hard. Did everyone learn to fly over such adversity? Asher opened her mouth to see if she wanted to revive my lost will. “If we succeed this time, we will be able to fly freely. Are you not looking forward to it?” “Beep.” right. That’s very much to look forward to. I simply answered yes. As long as I can do it, I can fly freely. I decided to show my strength one more time. Asher lifted me up as before. “Okay then, let go. I’ll count the seconds, so get ready.” “Sk.” “one two…….” I held my breath to prepare my mind while Asher counted the candles. When you turn three, you’ll fly great! But the three didn’t come. Because Asher left them both. “Beep!” “You don’t always fly when you’re mentally prepared. You have to be able to fly when it rains or snows when it’s unexpected.” “Beep!” You can learn those things slowly later! “Spread your wings. If you’re afraid, you won’t fly.” Asher fell vertically towards me and explained. His wings were spread wide from side to side. It looked like he was riding on the wind he spoke of. Is it okay to just do that? I spread my wings while trembling.“You’re doing great. Relax your body a little.” “Beep!” Its about letting the wind blow you. I flapped my wings slowly, releasing the power from my body as he said. If it gets in danger anyway, Asher will save you. It was a moment when I closed my eyes tightly and flapped my wings a few times. I opened my eyes in amazement. “…beep?” It felt like the center would collapse if you applied a little force, but it was because it was definitely flying. I couldn’t believe myself and took a deep breath. “You can’t stop your wings. Keep moving.” “…beep!” “You’re looking forward, not looking down. Then climb higher. Fly too low and you’ll be caught by predators.” “beep!” “You are doing well.” Asher smiled faintly and praised him. I beeped and hummed with joy. How do you brag about this? Is Messiah watching right now? At that moment, his body staggered and fell. “Beep?!” “That.” Asher had already expected this to happen, so she welcomed me with big wings. Wrapped in my wings, I glided gently and settled on his hand, which slowly turned into an arm. “You’re starting to think differently. Flying safety should be a top priority for young birds.” “beep…….” “I’m going to do this today. First of all, I succeeded.”“beep!” I nodded vigorously. It seemed difficult to practice more here. Asher took me in her hand and left the forest. As we were walking along the path leading into the garden, I saw the door to the mansion slowly opening. “beep?” Is there another guest coming today? When he tilted his head and looked at the gate, Asher’s gaze turned to the same place. Watching who was coming in, I jumped up, forgetting the difficulties. “Do you know who you are?” Asher asked at my intense reaction. I nodded my head, saying it was natural. How could you not know? He had a very large body, copper-colored skin and red hair, which is rare in the South. I knew very well who the other person was. “Beep beep!” You’re Dante’s uncle! I flew with all my might. Asher stretched out her hand with a sigh, but I was faster. Dante stopped walking, wondering if he had found me. “Oh, Irene?!” “Beep!” Uncle! I flew straight to Dante with delight. And hugged him in his arms. Dante, who was stiff and unable to do this or that, carefully showed his palm. As if waiting, I quickly climbed onto it. Then Dante’s amber eyes folded nicely into a halfmoon shape.“It’s been a while, Irene.” * “Uncle! Are you here to see me?” “Yeah, I ran to you right away because you wanted to see me.” Dante nodded at my warm welcome. I smiled brightly. He also came to see me. I changed clothes from the room and rushed out of the room, and I was riding around Dante’s neck. It was so-called horse riding. “You’ve grown a lot while we haven’t seen each other, Irene?” “Yeah, it’s already this big.” He opened his hands wide to see this. Dante looked at my hand, smiled and walked slowly. I grabbed Dante’s hand to keep him centered. Passers-by smiled and gave a simple eye-to-eye. “You must have been learning to fly.” “Yeah! I learned it for the first time today, and I even succeeded in flying.” “Kaid will like it.” “Is it? I’m going to brag about it.” “I’m going to have a stomach ache because I’ll see it first.” Dante grew up. He seemed to be in a good mood at the thought of raising his kayd already. Like Kaid’s friend, he often visited the family, so he didn’t hesitate to walk. Even if I didn’t explain the way, he was heading towards the office naturally. even……. Bump. “Aren’t you knocking?” “What’s between us.”Even the boldness that can easily ignore knocking against Kaid. “It’s too much. A visitor came, but he didn’t even see me.” “You’ll find yourself well.” “To be fair.” Dante grunted. When Kaid saw me sitting on Dante’s neck, he had an absurd expression on his face. “What are you two doing?” “Things. Have you never done anything like this before?” “……” “How fun is Irene?” “Yeah! Dad, this is so much fun.” It was just sitting on my neck and it was fun. But where is Baon? We had been together until a while ago, but all of a sudden, he didn’t show up. I told you to stay. “Why?” Aren’t the two of you always together? No matter what Kaid did, Baon was always with him. Wasn’t Dante’s purpose of visiting because of my middle growth? Baon also knows that, so why did you send it out? Then lets stop coming down, Irene. He bent down so that Dante could come down safely. I gently descended to the floor. Kaid walked towards the sofa without answering my question. floppy. As Dante sat down on the sofa, the chair sank down like it was about to turn off. “Anyway. I want you to change the sofa. It’s like this every time you come, isn’t it?” “Why do I have to change because of you?” “…Your father is like this, Irene.”Dante leaned towards me and spoke in a stern tone. Kaid’s eyebrows rose. No matter how you look at it, it is questionable how these two became friends. I shook my head. Dante pulled out something wrapped in a cloth from within. “First, I brought what you need. But why do you need this?”
101 “I have something to write about.” “Why did you tell me to burn the letter?” “For a reason.” “……Ha. I brought it because I needed it, but it’s difficult for me to bring it every time. You know that too, right?” Dante clenched his teeth at Kaid’s unkind explanation. I stared at the cloth. The fabric was a little thick to see if there was any content inside. I wondered what was the identity of the thin wooden box wrapped in cloth. “I wonder what this is?” Kai said looking at me. I nodded. “Yeah. What is that?” “…It’s nothing, Irene. Don’t look or know anything like that. Okay?” Dante made an impression. His eyes lit up as if he was about to let me know that he was asking about it. What’s in there that makes you react so violently? “Dad, what is that?” “Your medicine.” At that moment, Dante got up in a panic. and shouted “Crazy?!” “I’m serious.” “You, you…, do you know what that is? Have you forgotten what you asked me to bring?” “I remember correctly. I asked you to bring me cold poison vinegar.” cold poison? Just by hearing the name, I know that it is poisonous. But would that be my medicine?cold poison? Just by hearing the name, I know that it is poisonous. But would that be my medicine? Dante’s reaction was understandable. He seemed perplexed when he said that poisonous herbs would be used as medicine. It was the same with me. It was said that the body might not be able to bear it during the middle growth process, and it was more serious than expected. Do you have to touch poisonous weeds? can i eat it? Dante said excitedly. If you eat this, no matter how strong a beast you are, you will lose your breath within a few minutes. You wouldnt know that, would you? “…for now, I just have it as a countermeasure.” “Preparation? What kind of preparation. Until you know that, you’ll never get over it.” Dante took the cold poison vinegar again. Kai was speechless. “That’s why I told Baon to go out.” “What the hell happened? Besides, what happened to Irene in such a short time? I’ve never seen a new clan that’s not even a raptor grow so fast.” Dante asked me to tell the truth. Kaid sighed. He seemed hesitant about how to start speaking. I breathed in at the sudden passing thought. In the meantime, I had a gut feeling that there was a secret that Kaid had not told me. And that’s something even Baon shouldn’t know. I looked at Kai slowly. Kaid didn’t avoid my gaze and came face to face. “…Is there a secret I don’t even know about Baon?” “okay.” “……what is that?” Baon should not know, but what is the secret that Dante can know?no. Kaid’s closest aide Ba also didn’t know, but there was no secret that Dante would have known. Then… what is it? I was confused. Dante was still staring at Kaid with a stiff face. A terrifyingly subdued atmosphere surrounded the office. Kaid ran out of luck. “I know very well that cold poisonous plants are strictly managed by the Iselrod family. I also know that they are poisonous plants that even the headmaster can’t touch.” “It would be nice if you knew. Even if I could just pass on my own this time, if it became known that I was still supplying cold poison vinegar outside, my position would be in trouble.” “Irene is mid-growth.” “…Medium growth? It’s the first time I’ve heard of such a thing.” Dante, who had been somewhat exasperated, answered with a trembling. He saw me sitting next to him. Although the word mid-growth is unfamiliar, I beckoned to Kaid, telling him to keep going for now. “As you can see, Irene’s growth rate is different from that of a normal bird clan… It’s because it has absorbed my pheromone. Because of that, the pheromone is colliding with each other.” “…you mean two pheromones?” “Yeah. But the two pheromone properties are different, so we need a medium to neutralize them.” “her.” Dante opened his mouth wide with a stupid expression on his face. There was no sign of closing his mouth. After a while, he realized that his expression was ridiculous, so he quickly covered his mouth and coughed. “I get it. By the way? What does that have to do with cold poison?”“The reason Irene was able to be born was through enduring my pheromone.” “I guess so. Say the obvious……” Dante’s eyes widened after answering bluntly. Dante, who had been leaning his back on the sofa, looked at Kaid in disbelief. “I guess that means… What are you talking to me right now, Kaid Astropel.” “It’s what you hear.” “Ha…, haha. It’s turned. You must have turned. If you’re sane, you can’t say that right now.” Kaid didn’t answer. It was unspoken consent. Then Dante’s face twisted. “Do you know what you said to me now?!” “I know you very well.” “……!” Would you rather tell me directly? Kaid turned his gaze to me. As if you were going to let me know. Without realizing it, my body stiffened with tension. His mouth was open. At that moment, it felt like time was passing very slowly. “Irene is immune to Black Mamba’s poison.” At that, I shook my head. “…that’s ridiculous. It’s a lie.” “Did you eat all of Kasana’s poison? Mess’s poison doesn’t work either.” “……no.” I didn’t say it with my mouth, but I remembered the smell of Mess. “The fact that Black Mamba’s venom doesn’t work is the same as saying that most poisons don’t work.” “no!” I covered my ears and cried. Nonsense. Black Mamba’s poison doesn’t work? That means that my existence is a threat to the Astropels. So, do you know that the head of the art class is also targeting me? Now I understand why Baon was sent out. Knowing this fact, even Baon will dislike my existence. Dante covered his face with both hands. “I’ll pretend I didn’t hear.” Youve already heard everything and youre going to pretend you didnt hear it? “Yeah. And I see how much you want to protect Irene.” Dante’s expression was complicated. As he looked at Kaid, he ruffled his hair. “Sometimes I don’t know.” “what?” “How can you get so far?” There was no object, but I could understand what he was saying. It meant why are you doing this for me? In fact, she’s not even a real daughter. How could he ask for help from Dante while tacitly revealing a fact that could be a danger to his family? Kaid chuckled. “I do not know.” “……what?” Dante asked, saying it was absurd. Kaid looked at me with a twisted posture. At first, my eyes were red because my eyes were red, but now I feel like I need to mention the reason. “……” “I was born with my pheromone, so of course she’s my daughter.” Dante stayed blank, as if he had been hit by a blow. No words were exchanged between the two.I lowered my head. I knew that Kaid recognized me as a daughter, but the meaning of these words… It means that they treat me like my own daughter. You look different, how can you do that? said Kaid. “The temperament of a beastman follows pheromones, so it might turn into a snake later.” “…Are you joking in this kind of atmosphere?” Well, not much is known about it. I desperately held back the tears that were about to burst out. My eyes were cloudy and hot. I lowered my head and didn’t lift it for a while, and I could feel Kaid’s gaze. “Irene.” “……Huh.” “I’d rather come and sit next to you.” “……Huh.” I nodded and got up from my seat. Tears fell as I turned around the table and sat down next to Kaid. The color of the carpet on the floor darkened. “Crybaby.” “I’m not a crybaby.” “Then what is this?” Kaid lifted my face. Before the tears welling up in the corners of his eyes fell, Kaid wiped them off. Kaid, who looked at me, raised his lips playfully. “Are you crying because of Dante?” “……Huh?” I’m crying because of Dante? It’s not. I was crying because I was moved by Kaid. When Dante suddenly said that the reason I cried was because of him, he made an unhappy expression on his face. “Why is Irene crying because of me?”“You made me cry. Why are you making a child cry like that?” “under!” Dante sighed and rubbed his forehead. Still, in my heart, I secretly looked into my eyes to see if the words I had just brought out were bothering me. Soon he spoke softly. “I’m sorry, Irene… …I said something wrong.” “Ugh, no.” I wiped the corners of my eyes. Thanks to this, it was time to listen to Kaid’s true intentions. The fact that Black Mamba’s poison doesn’t work for me means that it’s a threat to the family. Kaid must have thought a lot before telling Dante the truth. But it was a secret for me. Dante sighed heavily. “So, what should I do? Can I continue to procure cold poison vinegar in the future?” “Yeah. Cold poison plant doesn’t grow in the South. There are limits to bringing in from outside. It’s difficult when rumors spread.” “That’s right. If you hear the rumor that the Astropel family is constantly buying cold poison vinegar, your eyes will be drawn to it… …who.” Dante drank the tea several times to keep his lips dry. “I feel like I’ve crossed a river of no return.” “Your expression is correct.” Kaid laughed softly. Dante, who was sipping tea, gave a puzzled look. Kaid said while pretending to cut his throat. “The safety of the West is all in your mouth, Dante.” “…if you don’t threaten me like this, I’ll take care of you, so don’t worry.” “Then I’m glad.”“First of all, I’m your friend and Irene’s uncle.” So, will I start eating cold poison vinegar from now on? I saw a cloth of cold poison in front of Dante.
102 It felt strange to suddenly have to eat poison while taking the medicine Hestia sent me every day. I still didn’t realize that poison didn’t work for me. “Kaid, isn’t it a little bit of a cold poison vinegar to give to Irene? No matter how poisonous it is…, it just won’t work, and it must be bad for the body.” “I know that.” “However?” Now that Kaid explained the reason, he motioned for the cold poison candle. Dante reluctantly gave up what was in front of him. Kaid said sarcastically, taking the cloth soaked in cold poison vinegar. “The doctor said the best thing to do is to find a beast who can neutralize the pheromone.” “I couldn’t find a reliable beast right now, so I must have found cold poison.” “right.” Kaid affirmed. Dante said embarrassed. “If you give the cold poison vinegar to the doctor, he will also know the secret, right?” Kaid shrugged his shoulders after seeing the cold poison candle once. “I’m not going to leave this to the doctor.” “then?” There are many people who cannot see and cannot speak. “…Yeah, you used to be like this. I forgot about it for a while.” Dante shook his head as he lifted both hands and feet. Kaid wasn’t going to tell Hestia about this either. I felt heavy. He couldn’t even fathom Kaid’s heart to keep this fact a secret from his family. In any case, I thought that I should not harm the family. Seeing my expression getting darker and darker, Dante smiled. “Don’t worry too much, Irene.” “……Huh.” “What are you worried about? Your dad is Kaid Astropel. If you have a car, I can use it too.” “Then thank you.” “You don’t refuse.” Dante laughed out loud. Then he looked at me and Kaid who were sitting next to each other and muttered in amazement. “I didn’t know it when I first saw it, but it feels like the two of them are strangely similar. Irene seems to be starting to resemble you.” I was born and raised here, so who do I resemble? “…that’s not true either.” I laughed softly at the words that I resemble Kaid. “It’s good to be like your dad.” “But don’t look alike too much. That seems a bit dangerous, Irene.” The daughter said she resembled her father. Kaid asked if he liked what I said. “Who said that?” “Yeah, Rozaria!” Rosaria was like that. There is a myth that daughters resemble their fathers. It was just a myth, but I liked it. Because I want to be like Kaid a lot. “I must reward Rosaria.” Kaid smiled contentedly.Dante, who had narrowed his eyes and clenched his tongue, opened his mouth with an ‘ah’ as he remembered something. “By the way, the Kiras clan in the north doesn’t have a cold pheromone?” “……” “I remember that Irene had friends with the northern kid.” “sage?” Kaid was silent. And I gladly shouted Sage’s name. “Is the successor’s name Seiji?” “Yes. That’s right. Sage.” “That little boy will help neutralize your pheromone. The Kiras clan is a little odd.” “Stop it, Dante.” “Why?” Dante rolled his eyes. Kaid, who was suddenly exuding a cool energy, frowned. “That little boy is in trouble.” “Are you in a situation where you are going to cover up your opponent now?” “He invited Irene to the North.” “…… How are you?” Dante’s lips twitched. How long since you were born have you already invited me to the realm? Dante looked displeased. Kaid waved his hand relentlessly. “And that kid is too young. There’s no way Muhela would give up his successor.” “That’s right.” Sage has the power to neutralize my pheromone. But it was cold when I held Sage’s hand. So, isn’t it correct that the pheromone is heat rather than cold?“Dad, how can a sage pheromone be cold?” “Because the Kiras clan is strange.” “Where is it strange?” “Kiraas is a clan that cannot be explained in words from beginning to end. It should always be explained as an exception.” “……Why?” “While possessing a cold energy, the body is also the coldest among the beasts. What should I say if it mobilizes even the cold air of the North?” …isn’t that a total scam? No matter how young I was, I knew that. The beast said that his body evolves accordingly in order to handle the energy of pheromone. So in the case of the Black Mamba, I said that the body temperature is on the low side. However, in order to maximize the use of pheromone, it would be advantageous to have a higher body temperature according to the energy. But to do that, it puts a lot of strain on the body. However, it is said that Kiras broke that orthodoxy. Dante nodded. “It’s a clan that’s hard to understand. You’ve got a good friend, Irene.” He smiled and raised his thumb. When I said that I had a good friend, the corners of my mouth went up for nothing. We hadn’t seen each other since the banquet, but the memories we played together were vividly remembered. Besides, it felt more special because he was a friend of the same age as me. Kaid looked displeased with that kind of Sage. Apparently, he still had the words of inviting me to the North in his heart. “Yeah, right. And Sage is nice.” “okay?” “Yeah! Did you even catch me while we were playing?”“……okay?” The nuances of ‘yes’ and ‘yes’ were very different. Dante’s arm sprained as he listened to me with his chin on his chin and as if intrigued. I heard, Dante. They say you got caught. “……” “Most of the games they play are related to hunting. They think that if caught, they will die.” “……” “But since I was caught, I don’t have a fever?” “Are you saying you went to the right stamp?” Dante chuckled as if he was having fun. I rubbed my mouth. Kaid was interpreting too broadly. I guess it was just because we became friends. Because I said I wouldn’t get caught next time. “Still, Kaid, consider sending Irene to the North. Would Kiras’s head be welcome?” “On what grounds?” “Who misses such an opportunity? The next successor will be able to build friendships with the Astropel family.” “……” “And you can’t survive with cold poison for how long. Shouldn’t you be thinking about Irene’s body too?” However, it would be difficult to send me to the north in haste. From Kaid’s point of view, it would be more comfortable for me to be in the South. Kaid, who had been thinking about it, answered. “Let me consider it.” *Dante decided to stay a few more days. He came from the far west, so he seemed to be having a conversation with Kaid. And I couldn’t take pheromone classes for a while. Because the pheromone that was barely balanced can’t be messed up again. For the time being, it will be replaced by theory classes. But that didn’t mean he didn’t completely stop teaching in the forest. “Today, we will learn about the various beasts. Do you know the approximate characteristics of each clan?” “Yeah, I know.” There were not many clans that had absolute characteristics like the Astropel family, but there were common characteristics. If the Astropel family had black hair and red eyes, the Kiras family in the north had blonde hair and red eyes. The lion clan of the west, the Kashmere clan, have golden brown hair and gold eyes. The eastern wolf clan, the Miat family, has gray hair and Eun-an. The Atban family, a jaguar clan, has silver hair and a surplus. As I jotted down what I had learned, Kasana nodded, saying it was true. “You remember well. That’s right. And in fact, there were several other races other than the beasts on the continent.” “…a different race?” “Yes, there are humans as a representative example. You can’t see them now. But the legacy they left behind is still being used.” “What is used?” The age tag, and the expression of humanization itself comes from them. He said that other than that, part of the current way of life was transmitted from humans. Actions such as using dishes, sleeping in bed, or putting on clothes. In fact, if Suin is in the form of a body, there is no need for that at all. Originally, it was said that the beasts did not prefer to humanize themselves. However, in order to have a smooth relationship between the clan, they created a common language and exchanged in the form of humanization. Although humans were no longer to be found, traces of them could be found everywhere. “Humans are exceptionally smart. Many of the technologies that are currently developed are their inventions.” “Yeah, I heard.” Instead of having no pheromones, he said that he lived by interacting with beasts using his superior intelligence and skills as a weapon. “The Marinet clan, which currently possesses the most advanced technology, had to fold in front of the human race. They were such outstanding beings.” Why did such beings become extinct? “There was a family that had a close relationship with such a human.” “I know! You mean the Marinette clan?” I answered confidently. But Kasana immediately shook her head. You’re not from the Marinette clan? I rolled my eyes. So which family are you? He knew that the Marinettes were the only clan that had friendly exchanges with them. “I only mentioned the Marinette clan, but there was actually one more place. Because of that, there was a clan that took the place of the head of the family.” “Where are you?” “That’s the Artban family.” “…Art class? But there…”Are you in a confrontation with the Miat family? But you mean you used to be head? Borrowing human power?
103 “Once upon a time, the Atban family took full control of the East. Look at the map here.” Kasana pointed to the map. Part of the present southern region and a wide area to the west and north were all painted in color. “In the past, this area was all owned by the Atban family.” “So much?” “The Atban family, allied with humans, quickly expanded their territory. Instead, they provided humans with pheromones.” “…provide pheromones?” For some reason, I felt a sense of rejection all over my body. I shrugged my shoulders. I’m scared. “Because humans don’t have pheromones.” “…So you’re saying you gave me the pheromone of a beast?” “Yes. Using pheromone stones to steal the power of the beast.” “That… did you mean that the Artban family did it?” I trembled in my voice. I was sick to my stomach. How could you do such a thing to the same beast? “The Atban family made such a decision to step up on the Miat family of similar strength.” I trembled. So, now that humans have disappeared, you are again confronting the Miat family. “Humans did not share knowledge with the Atban family, for that moment would reverse the relationship.” “I would have.” “But the Marinettes were able to share their knowledge with them.” “how?” “It is most likely that the Marinette clan must have concluded that it was not an enemy.”Is it because he lives in the sea and doesn’t show himself well to the outside? The Marinette clan also said that they were reluctant to come out because they weakened their strength when they went outside. Kasana went on to explain. “And because there are resources that can only be obtained from the sea. We exchanged what we needed. The Marinettes are famous for being curious.” “I see.” It was a new fact. The Marinettes are curious. If that was the case, of course, he would have interacted with humans as well. It is true that they have been able to develop so far based on their knowledge and skills. “And the Artban family, who had a lot of interaction with them, could also acquire some skills.” Kasana’s expression hardened heavily. “It’s just extracting the beast’s pheromone.” “……what?” “We had to know to give humans pheromones. Beyond that, many of the currently taboo technologies are owned by the Atban family.” “Casa, I’m scared.” I covered my ears. My body trembled. I didn’t know why, but my whole body was in denial. When I started crying, Kasana didn’t say anything more. She nodded her head in understanding with a confused expression. “I understand it’s a terrible past, but it’s also a fact that beasts should be aware of.” “…Yes, but I’ll stop listening for now.” I shut my eyes tight. Kasana puzzled me over being more scared than necessary, but didn’t explain further.“Casa.” “Yes.” “So are humans completely extinct now?” Kasana nodded her head. “The last human on record was a hundred years ago. If you count the lifespan of a human, he will be the last.” I see. I was relieved. * eastern part of the continent. A few days after arriving at the Loisar family, Asher took the place of Gaju and had to work frantically. and……. “Who is the insider?” We had to take on the important task of finding an insider as soon as possible. It was not possible to easily inform the elders of this fact because it was not known who was the insider. At the time when the Atban family attacked, a significant number of elders set out together to strengthen alliances with the West. It was already several months ago, so I can’t even remember. It was impossible to find an insider who had deliberately and hidden inside, relying on his vague memories. If it was discovered that he was looking for an insider for nothing, it was Aser himself who was rather dangerous. Asher sighed deeply. Nothing was easily resolved. He was checking out all the elders’ schedules a few months ago. But no one was suspicious. Most of the people were working outside the house, so there was no one left in the family. Moreover, all the elders who were with us this time were from certain origins. Most of the elders of the Loisar family were hereditary. There was also a family atmosphere that values pure blood, and it was because the situation in the east was not stable and there was a risk of external personnel. No matter how you look at it. Asher, who was flipping through the schedule one by one, checked the rest of the schedule and sighed. It was past two in the morning. He rubbed the corners of his eyes in exhaustion. smart. “who are you?” “Asher-sama, it’s me.” “Youth?” The door opened and Youth, still a young man, entered. “You haven’t slept yet.” “Because there’s work left to do.” “…Because the Lord is like that, Aser-sama must be very difficult.” A shadow fell on Youth’s face. His complexion was full of concern. Asher said with a wink to sit on the chair. “I can’t help it. He hid from the elders and arbitrarily endangered the family.” “It is, but the family would have been stable if the headmaster was there.” How long has it been since you sat in the office of elder? “…I recently became an elder, and this is what makes my heart even more heavy.” Asher chuckled. Youth confirmed that Asher was watching and tilted her head. “By the way, isn’t this a schedule?” “……Oh right.” “What do you think of this?”Asher sighed and hid the schedule. “I was sorting out what was going on in the family during that time. It was so crazy.” “That’s right. If there’s anything I can do to help, please tell me.” Youth said with enthusiasm. Asher’s smirk leaked out at the attitude that she would be of some help. “Okay. Go to sleep.” “But… you still have the lights on in the room, how am I going to get there?” “I’m going to sleep now.” Youth’s complexion brightened as he organized Asher’s work. “I’m glad. I feel bad for staying up all night.” “But what did you come to my room for?” “I hope the lights are on.” Youth stood up. “But now that you’re going to sleep, let’s go and rest assured.” “It’s futile.” Asher waved her hand, telling her to go. With a smile on his face, Youth bowed his head and left the room. click. The room, which had been noisy for a while, fell into silence again. Asher, who was looking at the door where Youth left with a smile, straightened the corners of her mouth. His golden eyes fluttered and sank. “You’re here because the lights are on?” The room where Youth stayed was the West Wing. And Asher’s room was in the East Wing. You wouldn’t be able to tell that the lights were on if you didn’t come here on purpose, both in terms of the structure of the building and on the street. That meant that he had deliberately walked to check whether Asher’s room was lit or not. How should I view this situation? If not….. “I’ll have to check some more.” Asher’s eyes narrowed. Maybe the insider wasn’t an elder at the time. Rather, those who benefited from the family’s turmoil. There was a high probability that he was an insider. If the scope was expanded in that way, the youth who had just visited the previous room were also affected. “I never thought I’d be suspicious like this.” Asher muttered in despair and loneliness. But his gold eyes were colder than ever.
104 * An area in the south that is made up of wetlands all around. It has been three days since the two heirs of the Astropel family entered the cave to escape. Orca said anxiously, looking at the cave whose entrance was blocked by a huge rock. “Durias-sama, the door still hasn’t opened. Shouldn’t we go inside?” “Oh, is that a new suicide method?” “……” “Then you can go in.” In the process of becoming an adult, the Black Mamba poisoned everything that came to it. It was to protect his defenseless self. Orca frowned. “I know it usually doesn’t take this long.” “Get ready to get away from the cave, Orca.” “……Yes?” Durias’ lips drew a line. “The masters will come out now.” “What…!” As soon as Durias finished speaking, a menacing pheromone began to explode. Orca was stunned and hurriedly bit her body. Despite the considerable distance from the cave, the pheromone was rapidly reaching out. “Isn’t it annoying that you guys are making noise outside?” Durias grumbled. It was no longer possible to approach the cave to check it. Kurung. The sound of the rock moving at the entrance to the cave could be heard.“You have one minute.” “…Which master is it?” “I don’t know. You’re acting stupid today, Orca.” Durias smiled brightly and blew out a venomous remark. Orca wrinkled Warak’s face. My family and I had a schedule together until here, but we still didn’t get used to it. Orca said with displeasure. “It doesn’t seem to be Arban master’s pheromone.” Then you must be Master Set. But was Master Sets pheromone so nervous? The pheromone was wrapped around him at random. It was a completely different feeling from the usual calm look. “Originally, when you become an adult, your nature comes out, isn’t it?” Still, this is a bit… Orca nodded shakily. Then the sound of another cave entrance that had been blocked off was heard loudly. As soon as the door was opened, Orca was nervous at the sight of it approaching at a fast speed. Occasionally, the black mamba, hungry after molting, moved right away to hunt. If you become a target… “You’re fast too.” Durias looked to the left. Eventually, Arban with an alluring atmosphere appeared. Its appearance, which catches the eye at once, seemed to embody the deadly poison of the Black Mamba. Orca looked at Arban, who had grown up in the form of an adult, blankly. His childhood image was nowhere to be found.Arban, who was wearing a robe roughly on his body, looked at Orca and asked. “How long has it been?” “It’s been about three days.” “already?” Arban’s fine forehead narrowed. crumble. A cool breeze was felt from the other side. Arban turned his gaze to the place where he could feel the presence by moving only his red eyes. “Three days have passed?” I guess it was the same with the set that came in a hurry, and he came with the buttons on his sleeves closed. “Then you better go quickly.” Set’s expressionless lips rose slightly. “Because I promised Irene that I would go early.” * “Are the brothers coming?!” “Yes! Irene. A messenger came this morning. I’ll see you in two days.” “Yeah, do I have to stay for two days?” I puffed out my mouth. Rosaria smirked. In her hand was a letter tied to the paws of a messenger bird. “Do you want the masters to come soon?” “Yeah, I want to see you soon!” “Everyone will be surprised to see Irene-sama because you’ve grown so much!” “…Have I grown that much?” I was a little worried. What if I can’t recognize it because it’s changed so much! If I’ve been flirting over the past few days because I’ve grown up fast, my heart raced for fear that Set and Arban wouldn’t recognize me now.I quickly looked in front of the mirror. A child who appeared to be nine years old now was crying. “Rosaria. I must have grown up too much. What if my brothers don’t recognize me?” “…Poo-pup, no. The masters will never fail to recognize Irene, so don’t worry.” “Is that so?” “sure.” Whew, that was a good thing. I read the letter Rosaria gave me over and over again. It was a short message that the two of them would return to the South after completing the Eucharist safely. You two really became adults. I felt weird. “If you come in two days, you can see Uncle Dante as well.” “I’m sure it is. Hearing the news, he said that he postponed the schedule.” Can I leave the house for such a long time? I feel like I’m staying too long. Rosaria’s expression darkened as she fiddled with the glass bottle hung around her neck. “Irene-sama, the speed of the drug is decreasing faster.” “……is it?” “Has it already been cut in half?” I picked up the glass bottle. Compared to the morning when the potion made of cold poison vinegar was full, it was reduced by half and was soft. “It’s okay, Rosaria. Don’t worry too much.” “Are you sure it’s not a drug that puts a strain on your body?” “Huh!” Actually, I don’t know.I heard that the poison didn’t work, but no one knew how long it would be okay. I went out to the garden with Rosaria. “Irene?” “Uncle!” “The growth rate is amazing.” As soon as I left the garden, I saw Dante. He widened his eyes as soon as he found me. He seemed to be surprised that he had grown bigger than he did yesterday. Kaid was with Dante. “dad!” “…the rate of growth continues to increase.” Kaid frowned at the glass bottle containing the medicine. It didn’t come out of his mouth, but he knew what he was concerned about. Dante muttered in amazement. “I think the pheromone is balanced and the growth is faster.” I think so. “If it’s in this state… isn’t it enough?” Being aware of Rosaria behind me, Dante hesitated. Kaid looked at me with an unknown expression. And after a while he called me. “Irene.” “Huh?” “wee…….” He sighed as if no words came out. A sign of dissatisfaction was evident. What are you talking about? I waited for Kaid to finish speaking. Soon he continued. “…I wish I could go to the north to play.” “Lord!”Rosaria exclaimed in surprise. Dante also blinked slowly, not knowing that Kaid would say these words out loud. The one who surprised me the most was me. “Are you going to the North?” “okay.” “…Then the brothers?” No matter what the circumstances are, I want to see the two of them. Kaid shook his head. Do you know how much you will grow while you wait? “……” “You changed your vial twice yesterday.” “… just eat a little.” “It wouldn’t be your control.” Kaid was right. Recently, pheromones have been rapidly becoming imbalanced. Hestia said that the effect of the drug is to restore the balance of the pheromone and promote growth. And paradoxically, the pheromone that has been strengthened by it becomes unbalanced again, and the process of taking drugs is repeated. I expected to go to the North someday, but it was too soon. If I go to the North, when will I be able to return? After reading my expression, Kaid gently reassured me. “Even if you go to the north, you can come back whenever you want, Irene.” “…Is it really okay to do that?” Kaid laughed as if he heard a funny sound. * Northern Kiras family.Muhela raised an interesting corner of her lips at the unexpected letter. Her walls gleamed sharply. “Arisa.” “Yes, Muhela-sama.” “What does it mean to send your terribly cherished child out of town?” “Yes?” Arisa had a mysterious expression on her face at Muhela’s sudden question. “What are you talking about all of a sudden? Who’s sending where?” “The child who is very dear to the North.” Muhela’s eyes narrowed as she looked out the window with her chin bent. “It’s snowing like this in the north.” There’s no way Kaid Astropel doesn’t know that. At Muhela’s murmuring, Arisa tilted her head. Because it was a series of unintelligible words. “Tell me a little bit more clearly, Mr. Muhela. It always snows in the north, doesn’t it?” It rains infrequently every few days, or it rains all days. And now it was the latter period. Muhela said as she put the letter in the drawer. “You’re going to send a child who hasn’t become an adult yet to the north. From the Astropel family.” “……Yes?” “Don’t you think it would be fun?” “…Where the hell is fun?” Arisa’s complexion became contemplative. On the other hand, Muhela looked happy.
105 Something inevitable must have happened to the Astropel family. Otherwise, there was no way Irene could be sent to the North. However, the letter contained only vague details that Irene wanted to keep her promise to Seiji. Muhela stood up slowly. Things were going interesting. “I have someone I need to tell you about this for a while, so don’t go.” “Yes?! Muhela-sama, wait a minute!” Arisa called her urgently. However, Muhela only waved her hand lightly and left the office. Muhela passed the vassals who were greeting them and headed for the training center of the mansion. There, there was Sage, who had grown out of the form of a young boy. In a world that was all white, Sage, with her golden hair and a wall inside, slowly turned her gaze away. “Mother?” Sage frowned at the moment she saw Muhela’s meaningful expression. “Why do you come here with such an expression? It’s disgusting.” “So what do you mean?” “You know.” “I’m sorry. Where did the cute sage go?” Muhela shook her head. Now, the appearance of Sage as a child was nowhere to be found. At that time, it was fun to make fun of them, but now that they are quite large, it is no longer fun. However, the raised corners of Muhela’s lips did not think of coming down. This time, it was because I was there. She opened her eyes with anticipation. How will you react when you learn that Irene is coming to the North? would you be happy? Or will it be dull? Maybe he had forgotten the very existence of Irene. After that day, Seiji didn’t mention Irene. Maybe it was just a passing feeling when I was young. “I have news for you, Sage.” “For me?” “Yeah, do you remember Irene?” “…Irene Irene?” Seiji tilted her head as if she didn’t know. Muhela looked at Seiji’s face with no doubt. No emotional ups and downs were seen. The calming pheromone rather embarrassed Muhela. “Can’t you remember?” “I remember.” “Then why did you invite Irene to the North?” Sage shut her mouth. Muhela touched her forehead. Then yes. Apparently, it was just a fleeting feeling when I was young. Well, it was common. Besides, Sage hasn’t mentioned Irene even once since that day. Muhela’s excitement waned. “Anyway, your friend Irene is coming to the North.” “Ah.” It was a dry reaction. Muhela couldn’t hide her disappointment. Do you no longer feel special to Irene? It was highly likely. Because Seiji’s whim has pierced the sky.Still, I thought he would think differently. Muhela clicked her tongue in regret. It was fortunate that I was fortunate enough to remember Irene. “It’s good that you remember. You guide Irene while she stays in the North.” “……” “Even if it bothers you. A precious lady of the Astrofell family is coming, and you have to escort them. It’s not bad because you’re friendly, so you kill your personality.” When Seiji became the next head of the household, Irene would be a very reliable person. It could be an opportunity to bring closer relations with the South. Muhela gently comforted Sage. “Still, the two of you didn’t play well. Did you even get caught while playing together?” “……” “You don’t even remember this?” It was a total mess. I can’t even remember this! It was embarrassing to remember that it was a fun thing to do on my own. Even if heaven and earth were open, that would never have been possible! In the past, present, and future, Irene was the only one who caught Sage, but I could be sure. Muhela waved her hands. “Anyway, that’s how I know. Don’t bother me for nothing, and don’t give me a tee that I can’t remember. Okay?” “Okay. When is Irene coming?” “I’ll be here in a few days.” “iced coffee.” Sage chuckled. Muhela became anxious. I don’t think you’re going to do anything to that child. It was not long ago that Seiji got rid of all the clan around her age that was about to become an adult. I’m not trying to do anything worse than such an extraordinary thing. Then it was really a war with the South. “I’m speaking to an old woman, but the other person is a child of the Astropel family. You know?” “I know.” Sage’s lips curled up. “…don’t believe it.” “Yes.” Muhela left the training ground with a loss of fighting spirit. Sage looked down at her as she walked away and looked down at her arm. He muttered with a subtle expression. “Is it still like a snow rabbit? Then I think it will be hard to endure this time.” * On the other hand, Muhela, who was returning home, could not erase the uneasiness that remained in her heart. What is this strangely annoying feeling? With that temperament, I thought I would say no to anything that bothers me. It was questionable that Sage was so docile. It was a very docile reaction for the guy who had removed all of the prisoners who were located near his realm because they were annoying. no way……. Are you pretending you don’t remember? It was a random assumption, but it was very convincing. Muhela stopped walking and said, ‘Ha!’ turned on a laughSoon the smile on her face disappeared, Muhela frowned as she took a step forward. “Evil bastard.” * Early moning. The preparations to depart for the north are complete. I forcibly moved my feet that did not fall off and got on the carriage. They said that all the escorts would follow. I didn’t know they would accept being accompanied by an escort from the North. It was something he wasn’t expecting, so Kaid seemed to be surprised inside too. “Dad, I’m coming!” “okay.” “Is that the end?” I popped my face out the window and looked up at Kaid. This is the first time I’ve been so far apart. Besides, you never know when it might come! Kaid had a calm attitude to the point of being sad. When he looked up with his eyebrows bent, Kaid’s lips rose slightly. “Don’t get hurt and have a good trip, Irene.” “Heh, I see.” The escorts are with me, what can I do to get hurt? I answered bluntly. When my mood didn’t go away easily, Kaid sighed with a look of trouble. Then, Baon, who was next to him, smiled, saying it was worth knowing. “If you keep pushing time, the Lord might change your mind, Irene-sama.” “Huh?” “You won’t even be able to go north.”……Ah. I listened to Baon and understood Kaid’s attitude. It was because I was afraid that if I showed too much emotion, my heart would become weak. He tried to restrain his expression as much as possible. Kaid stroked my hair. I let go of my grumpy expression. “Don’t call me often.” “Yeah! I’ll call you every day.” “…if you change your mind while going, you can come back.” I held back my laughter. My father told me to go to the North. “…if you change your mind, you can come back. We might find another way.” “What is it!” I shook my head not to be joking. But in my heart, I thought that Kaid could really do it. But it will take a very long time. For a long time, not sure how long it would take, he would only give me all his nerves. That wasn’t what I wanted. Because Kaid has a responsibility to take care of the family. “Dad. Wait a minute.” “Well?” I motioned for Kaid to bow down for a moment. Even though he was puzzled, he bowed down as I wanted. snap. “…what is this doing?” His eyebrows rose as he grabbed Kaid’s face with both hands. I heard the sound of breathing in all the people around me. It seemed he was a bit shocked.Because no one would have expected me to put my hand on Kaid’s face. I looked at Kaid, who was bewildered, and smiled bashfully. It’s hard to be surprised just like this. Now for even more surprises! side. side. I quickly kissed Kaid’s cheeks.
Spoiler: 106 and 107
106 Kaid was in a state of dazedness, as if he couldn’t believe the sudden situation. I quickly slipped into the carriage and raised my voice. “Then I’ll go and come back! Even if you miss me, you have to be patient, Dad.” “……” “Understand?” There was no sign of dissipation of the atmosphere filled with astonishment. Even Rosaria, who was in the front row to see off, was unconscious. Hestia, who was watching the situation in the carriage, opened her mouth belatedly. “…Then shall we depart, lady?” “Yeah. Let’s go now.” ‘Cause I’ve done everything I sat down on the soft cushion without any regrets. Hestia decided to stay with me while I was in the North. Because she was the person who knew my body best. When he said that he was leaving, Kaid exhaled slowly and covered his eyes. Then he shrugged his shoulders and laughed out loud. He looked more relaxed than before. Kaid stopped laughing and looked at me through the window with an expression that he had eaten one. “I don’t know where I’m going. It’s hard to go to the northern part like this.” “Am I going to do this to anyone? I remember everything Dad told me to be careful, huh?” “Then I’m glad.” Kaid said that my current status should never be discovered by the northerners. It was because they could not know when they would change their attitude the moment they found out the secret, even if they welcome it with favors now. He said that Muhela, the head of the Kiras family, did not possess such a disposition… There was nothing wrong with being careful. That’s why I had to take all the escorts. It was a journey that took many risks. “Then I’ll go, my lord.” “Don’t expect good news.” Hestia was going to help my body stabilize by putting the energy flowing from the northern land into the pheromone stone. And he said he would continue to research to see if there would be a roadway there. In my heart, I prayed for good results in the north. Kaid looked at me and said. “He said that the Kiras family would meet him on the northern border.” “really?!” “……” Its not like I like it. really. I slowly avoided my gaze. Kaid’s eyes twitched. But he didn’t ask any more. Instead, he took a step back from the carriage. Now seems like it’s really time to go. I glanced at the people who came out. “Are you going to miss Uncle Dante after all? What if I’m sad that I didn’t see you?” “It’s because of that guy who woke up late.” “Tell Uncle I’ll see you later!” “okay.” Hestia locked the carriage door. At the same time, the wheels began to move slowly.“Have a good day, Irene-sama.” “Yeah! Don’t worry about me Rosaria, do well!” “Be careful with the beasts. You know?” “Huh? Beast?” “Then go in peace.” Rosaria smiled and waved her hand. are you a beast? I wanted to ask what that meant, but I couldn’t. I leaned back against the window to see the people moving away quickly. Baon, who had taken it easy for me to leave, couldn’t even walk in front of the mansion. I waved until everyone was gone. “Hestia.” “Yes, lady.” “I want to see everyone already.” My mind was empty. It made my heart ache at the thought of not being able to see everyone for a while. Hestia grinned. The people who remain in the mansion will feel the same way. “Is that so?” “of course.” He turned his gaze away from the window. One comfort was that the North and South were close. They said it would take a few hours by carriage to reach the northern border. “Are there any uncomfortable places?” “does not exist.” “When you arrive in the north, I’ll prepare a pheromone stone. Now you only take the medicine when you’re in a hurry.” “Yeah. I’ll do that.” He said that the pheromone stone containing the northern energy would show an excellent effect. However, he said that a lot of high-purity pheromone stones were needed to sustain the effect. Although it is not yet known how many will be consumed per day. It was quiet inside the running wagon. nodded. I lowered my head forward. Because I couldn’t sleep last night. “You look tired, miss. You better close your eyes.” “I guess so.” “I’ll wake you up when we arrive.” “thanks.” I leaned back in a comfortable position and closed my eyes. Soon the suma came out. * “miss.” “……Yes.” “Miss Irene.” “Ummm… have you already arrived?” I rubbed my eyes and stretched. Hestia nodded her head. “Yes, it is now slowly the northern border.” “Did I sleep that long?” He seems to have slept well. It was dark inside the carriage, and I looked out the window and saw the curtains were drawn. Hestia seemed to care so I didn’t wake up in the middle. I gently pulled the curtain back to see how far I had come. A pure white world spread wide open. I was greatly admired. “Wow! Snow, Hestia!”Yes, its snowing, isnt it amazing? “Yeah! It’s really pretty. It’s all white.” The seasons were completely opposite to that of the South. The ground was covered with white snow, and it was glistening. I opened the window to take a closer look. click. At the same time, a cold wind mixed with cold wind engulfed the inside of the carriage. I shrugged my shoulders. Her hair was fluttering indiscriminately. “Oh, it’s cold!” “It’s very cold in the north. You have to be careful not to catch a cold.” “That’s why I told you to prepare winter clothes.” I knew it was going to snow, but it was beyond my imagination. I quickly closed the window in the cold I had experienced for the first time. My body trembled. So can I go outside? “Can I stay in the North?” I murmured anxiously, and Hestia answered with a smiley voice. “Kiraas’ mansion will be warm.” “Is that so?” “Yeah. They’re not resistant to the cold every moment.” If so, you were lucky. If it was so cold even to the mansion, I would have seriously thought about going back. squeaky. The running carriage stopped. I rolled my eyes. “Why did you stop all of a sudden?”“I think it’s because we’ve arrived at the border now. You said that the Kiras family would meet you.” “Meeting…? Oh, right. I said so.” I forgot to look outside without hesitation. It seems that they have already reached the northern border. “But why did the escorts come out?” I asked, pointing to the escorts starting to show up one by one. This is because, starting with Karma, Basad, Fayman, and Messies appeared one after another. “Because we have to say hello formally. Let’s get to know each other face-to-face, otherwise we may have problems later.” “Then shouldn’t we go out and say hello?” “You don’t even have to do that to the lady. When you arrive at Kiras’s mansion, you will be formally greeted by the headmaster.” “That’s right. I thought I was coming out…” The head of the family or the heirs do not move directly in such a case. I couldn’t hide my regret. It was because I was expecting Seiji to come to meet me in my heart. To be honest, it was half and half. I expected Seiji to come to meet me, but at the same time I hoped not to. …what if I meet you and it’s awkward! There seemed to be nothing more difficult than that. “Whew.” “Why are you sighing all of a sudden, miss?” “I met Seiji, but I was afraid it would be awkward. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other.” “…hmm. Maybe that’s because the appearance must have changed a lot by now.” “Has Sage changed?” I was greatly shocked. Yes, that’s right. Sage was a tiger. Of course, the rate of growth would also be rapid. How did you not think of this?! He was a lot bigger than me when we first met, but he must have grown up now. Maybe it was an adult, I didn’t know! I covered my eyes wide. “What should I do? It feels so strange.” “Don’t worry too much. You haven’t met yet, have you?” “…By the way, Hestia.” “Yes.” “Why are you happy?” “Is that so?” Hestia’s complexion, visible between her fingers, looked very bright. I narrowed my eyes. He stuttered to the end and said no, it was very unreliable. My dad and my brothers and Rosaria and Baon also get mixed reactions when they talk about Sage. “…Is that so?” But my father said that we could be lifetime friends with Seiji. So please stop admitting that we are friends. I looked at Hestia sullenly. But somehow, Hestia’s lips soared high into the sky. “Mom, are you friends forever?” “Huh.” “That’s great!” “……Huh?” Hestia clapped her hands. He looked the happiest he had ever seen.“Miss Irene. You can’t change your mind.” “……” “As expected, Lord, be careful.” What the hell… what’s the tightness? I tilted my head. It was just that Kaid’s misunderstanding was cleared up. And I was finally able to be recognized as a friend. I looked at Hestia curiously and looked out the window. The carriage was still at a standstill. “When are you leaving, Hestia?” “I will. We should just exchange a simple greeting.” Karma seemed to be in constant conversation with someone. Unfortunately, it was impossible to see who the opponent was. As I was contemplating whether to open the window, Karma suddenly approached me. His expression was quite stiff. I unlocked the locked doorknob and opened the carriage door slightly. “miss.” “what’s the matter?” “I think we should say hello.” Then Hestia frowned in displeasure. “What do you mean, Karma. Do you think you should go out? How dare you ask such a thing from the Astrofell girl. It’s rude.” “…that’s not it.” “Then what?” Karma looked somewhat perplexed. What the hell is going on? “Why are you doing this, Karma?” “That is…….” He opened his mouth tremblingly.“The successor of the Kiras family came directly to meet me.” 107 I couldn’t believe what I had been told and I was stunned. It was because I had just heard that the headmaster or his successor did not directly take part in this kind of work. “What nonsense is that?” Hestia asked, bewildered. It seemed the same as the karma that conveyed the situation. An unusual thing had happened, and there was a sign of embarrassment. Are you really saying that Sage is here? I heard the sound of slamming outside the door and stomping on the snow. I took a deep breath. My body stiffened with tension. My heart started pounding and beating. Soon, I saw Sage with ecstatic blonde hair and a wall.eyes wide open “……sage?” “Hello, Irene.” “Are you really Seiji?” “You look surprised.” do you call it a horse? I nodded my head vigorously. Then he grabbed the carriage door and looked up at Sage in an awkward position. Is the person in front of you really Seiji? In my memory, it must have looked like a young boy about ten years old… Wasn’t this too big?! In addition, the formal uniform was very unfamiliar. Seiji in a golden uniform. Without saying anything, Seiji wrinkled her brow as she licked her lips. “He said he was coming to the North to keep his promise to me.” “……Ugh.” I hope you dont avoid it just because youre unfamiliar with it. It seems that Kaid wrote the contents of the letter like that. It would have been perfect for waiting for an excuse. “Then I’m sorry.” “Well, it’s not like that.” “Then I’m glad.” Seiji shrugged with a look of disbelief. The gold epaulettes on his shoulders swayed as he moved. When I couldn’t make eye contact with the awkwardness, Seiji asked me, who was staring at me. “Am I awkward?” “little……?” “okay?” Seiji laughed softly. “I’m glad.”“What are you happy about?” What am I awkward about? I looked at Sage in embarrassment. For a moment, I wondered if I heard it wrong. However, I could tell that I had not heard Seiji’s words wrongly. “I hope you continue to be unfamiliar, Irene.” “……what does it mean?” “That way you won’t get tired of me.” It was a nonsense word. Are you tired of yourself? Unable to understand, Seiji opened her eyes and smiled as she folded the wall. “You still look like a snow rabbit.” hard to bear At first glance, it seemed as if he had heard the backstory. Karma, who seemed to have listened to what Seiji was talking about, frowned. I tilted my head. It was because I felt a little out of focus even while we were having a conversation. By the time I was about to ask again, what did I mean? A cold northern wind mixed with snow began to blow again. I reflexively shrugged. Because his body remembered how cold the wind was. But the wind and snow did not reach me. “……uh?” Shall we leave soon? This is because the pheromone wave is felt in the direction the wind blows and the surroundings become quiet at the same time. I looked at Sage in amazement. If what I felt was correct, it was definitely Sage’s pheromone. For a moment, it was as if the wind, blocked by Sage’s pheromone, had changed direction. Sage closed the open carriage door and spoke softly in a pleasant voice. “Welcome to the North, Irene. I hope you like this place.” * “Sage is out to meet you.” “Yes, Muhela-sama.” “Then it is.” The central office of the Kiras family. With her golden hair hanging down over her white uniform, Muhela snorted as she leisurely drank wine in front of the snowy front window. The purple wine in a transparent glass was fluttering. Muhela’s lips rose sharply. No matter how much I jumped, it was on the palm of my hand. She took a sip of the wine with her eyes fixed on the front. Aide Arisa, who reported the situation next to Muhela, sighed, unable to hide her concern. “I didn’t have enough time to greet guests. What if the people of the Astropel family are offended?” “Is that possible? This is a whopping succession. This is a grand welcome.” “…that’s right.” That was unexpected. You don’t know how frightened the elders of the Kiras family were when they heard the news. Moreover, the clan in the field who would not have known about it was even considered sad.Arisa tried to speak again and again, but then shut it down. Muhela’s eyes twinkled when she felt a presence near the barrier surrounding the castle. “You’ve finally arrived.” “But why did the Astropel family come in such a hurry?” “I’m curious about that too.” Muhela’s pupils, who were looking somewhere beyond the window, flashed. “You’ll find out if you watch it.” She set the wine glass down on the table. Then I turned my back on the front window and turned around. A pure white cloak that reached down to her ankles fluttered as she walked. Arisa hurriedly followed her. “Make sure to look carefully, Arisa. There must be something hiding.” “…if there really is such a thing? What will you do then?” “What do you do?” Muhela raised her chin. His slow smile resembled that of a wild beast. Arisa hardened her expression seriously. No way, against the Astropel family… “I have to help you score points.” “……Yes?” The tone of Arisa’s voice was different. What does this mean? Muhela shook her head and complained. Its my son, but sometimes I worry about who will take him. “……” “From my point of view, he’s the only person who can handle Sage.” Arisa was shocked and kept her mouth shut. There was no need for unnecessary tension. Shaved wiping the cold sweat on her palms, she regained her composure and answered. “Don’t surprise me, Muhela.” “Are you surprised by yourself?” But what if she really just came to play? “Then that’s even better.” “Is the chance to score points disappearing?” Muhela narrowed her brow, telling her not to say anything she didn’t know. “You’ll have to look far, Arisa. Nothing has happened, so it’s all right. Only then will the peace last.” Because if something happens to Irene, it means that Kaid Astropel can do something. and. “It’s best that nothing happens to a growing child. Just use it if you’re thinking about getting points.” Muhela smiled faintly. It was unavoidable to fall in love with Irene. Because Seiji regards the child as special. The two of them came out of the mansion and stopped walking when they found a carriage with the red insignia of the Astropel family. The Kiras clan was escorting around the carriage of the Astropel family. It was the best courtesy they could show. Muhela ordered. “Make sure you treat them your best, Arisa. Close your eyes and cover your ears so they don’t feel uncomfortable. Tell everyone.” Even if they learned anything, the Kiras family was willing to remain silent. * A few hours after Irene leaves for the North. The atmosphere of the Astropel family was literally gloomy. Desolation began to creep up all over the mansion. A black mamba who looked up at the ceiling of the mansion with an empty gaze murmured. “I want to see the girl.” Then, as if waiting for another Black Mamba, who seemed to be doing her job without paying any attention to those around her, she opened her mouth. “So, when is the lady coming?” “How long do I have to stay in this atmosphere? I can’t get used to it.” “I can’t get used to it. Originally, the Astropel family was like this.” I know so its even harder. It was like going back to the Astropel family before Irene was born. desolate itself. They were currently experiencing the polar opposite. The black mambas all expressed their depression. Without Irene, who was the only one who lit up the atmosphere of the family, the family was seriously losing its warmth. Baon pokes his tongue at the amazing phenomenon that is happening in the family. As he headed to the office after seeing Dante off instead, he saw the scorched floor in all directions and wiped his face. The deeply carved bear’s paws on the floor were impressively clear. click. “Lord.” “Dante seems to have gone well.” “Didn’t you just raise it a little bit? The mansion lobby is nowhere to be seen.” “Apply for damages to the Iselrod family.”Kaid waved his hand as if it was annoying. Baon looked at him in a bewildered way. The reason Dante was so angry was that it came from Kaid, who gently scratched his nerves, who was depressed because he couldn’t see Irene off. In addition, if a claim for damages was received, then Dante might fall by the back of his neck. However, there was no problem because it was not him who fell. Baon sat down and answered steadily. “Yes, then we will proceed.” He began blatantly filling out fake-level amounts. “By the way, the masters don’t know about this yet. If you come back, you’ll be very heartbroken.” “I see. And I am very saddened by this report.” “Who the hell is it? The one who even paid salaries and posted such a poor report.” “you.” “……” Kaid’s tenacious gaze followed. Baon quietly shut his mouth. A one-sided, one-sided, stifling battle of eyes was about to begin. The presence of the Black Mamba’s pheromone rapidly approaching was detected. It was a familiar yet foreign energy. Kaid’s mouth went up with satisfaction. “I’m here.” Both heirs returned.
108 While they were safely evacuating and returning to the family, Set and Arban ran nonstop. This was possible because the explosively increased pheromone provided a body capable of running all day. On the other hand, a black mamba guarding the castle gate was curious. “What’s coming from over there?” Then the other person answered sarcastically. It would be the same direction. “I think it’s right for you to come this way.” “Hey, who comes to our family so desperately? Does it make sense?” “It is, but…” The pace was getting faster. Precisely towards the Astropel family, those with powerful pheromones were approaching. The two black mambas stepped forward to verify the identity of the other. And soon after, the gates were opened quickly. It was because the opponent was proving his identity only by his appearance. Red eyes on black hair. It was Astropel. The two black mambas, who opened the gates, greeted each other at a speed that did not decrease even when they got closer to the entrance. “Welcome back, masters. Congratulations on your safe return.” “uh.” At the end of Arban’s short, sincere reply, the two Astropels disappeared through the gates with great speed. The two black mambas guarding the gate turned their gazes to Durias and Orca, who were following them. “Welcome, Durias-sama. Orca-sama.”“Good job.” “No words. But why are the masters coming in such a hurry?” Durias replied that it was obvious. “You’re going to see Miss Irene. You’ll be waiting for the two masters.” “Ah…….” However, for some reason, the reaction of the two Black Mambas was not very good. Orca asked curiously. “Why are you doing this? Is something going on?” “that is.” One of the two black mambas, who had been looking at each other, opened their mouth awkwardly. “Currently, Miss Irene is not in the mansion.” Durias touched his forehead. This is really messed up. * “Something strange.” Arban arrived at the mansion lobby and narrowed his eyes. The mansion was strangely quiet. Besides, what is this unknown desolateness? “Is this bear’s soles wool?” “I think Dante-sama came.” But it looks like you did it all. The lobby took on the shape of a huge match. What happened here? Not only the floor, but also the walls were not damaged. Seeing it, Set’s eyes narrowed. He slowly opened his senses throughout the mansion. And I realized that Irene’s energy was nowhere to be felt. Set’s expression darkened terribly. “Irene is not at home.”“What do you mean? Where is he if he’s not at home…” Arban, who had rebutted that it was nonsense, shut his mouth. If Irene had been in the mansion, she would have heard the news by now and ran out immediately. There is no way Irene, who had been crying because she said not to go, would not come out. The lips of Set, who searched every nook and cranny of the mansion, rose sharply. “I think this needs an explanation.” “sympathy.” Arban’s eyes flashed through the curly black hair. shit. shit. A gloomy atmosphere spread deeply. Every nook and cranny that the pheromone touched began to corrode. Durias and Orca, who arrived at the lobby late, quickly covered their noses at the vibrating incense. “Master Arban, please calm down first. I have found the whereabouts of Miss Irene.” “where are you.” Two terrifying pairs of enemy eyes turned to Durias. A cold sweat ran down my back. “He said he went to the north.” northern. At those words, Set and Arban’s faces grew cold. ‘Where is my brother going?’ seemed to be asking. “It’s called the North.” Set pondered. Irene went north. why? No, actually, it didn’t matter what the reason was. Because it was something else that mattered. Arban scoffed. You must be excited and waving your tail by now. That desperate tiger. When I remembered the tiger trembling with a sheep next to Irene, my displeasure soared. “You make a fuss once you arrive.” At the appearance of Kaid, Set and Arban turned their heads. He grinned as he saw his two sons showing their dissatisfaction. Are you disappointed because Irene is not there? “I heard you went north.” Set replied. Kaid nodded. “Yeah. I sent it to the north for a while for medium growth.” “Alone?” Is that possible? Hestia and her escorts were all accompanied.Fortunately it was It’s better to have someone than no one. Set smiled brightly. “I’ve been there, Dad.” “okay.” “and…….” He pointed to Arban and said softly. “We’ll go to the north a little bit.” Kaid chuckled as if he had expected it. “You’re asking for useless permission.” No further permission was needed for the two who became adults. * Shortly after crossing the northern border. The carriage stopped in front of the Kiras family. I took a deep breath in the tension that was rarely released. I can’t get used to having the Kiras clan escorting me all the way here… “Wow, the castle is huge.” “Does it look similar to our family?” It feels so different. The castle of the Kiras family was very grand. It was like visiting an ancient palace. The pure white castle towering majesticly high in the sky had an aura that could not be reached. It felt completely different from the South. If Astropel Castle had a delicate and refined beauty, the Kiras family was majestic itself. I swallowed dry saliva. Now I really realized that I had come to the North. “Are you nervous, lady?” “Yeah. Very… Can I do well? Will I be able to get along well here?”“You didn’t come alone. I’m there and there are other escorts, so don’t worry too much.” I was a little reassured by those words. I wore a fur cloak with a hat around my body. If you go outside, it will be so cold that it cannot be compared to the time the door was opened. click. After getting ready to leave, I opened the carriage door and saw Sage. “sage?” “We’ve arrived, Irene.” “Oh, yes.” Seiji held out a hand. I looked down awkwardly, then took his hand and lowered it carefully. At that moment, intense gazes flew in from all directions. “Well?” what? I looked around curiously. However, the Kiras clan were staring straight ahead as if they were faithful to their duty. That’s weird. Clearly, I felt the gaze. “Let’s go in.” “Huh.” sabak. sabak. The touch of the snow on the tip of his feet was soft. The snow I saw for the first time was amazing, so I moved my feet mainly to the lightly piled up places. Suddenly, I heard Seiji’s small laugh. I lifted my head and looked at him. “Why are you laughing?” “Because it looks fun.” Sage asked, pointing to my footsteps. “Stepping on snow. Is it fun?”Ah. I was embarrassed and rolled my eyes for nothing. I guess he kept watching what I was doing. Pretending not to, Seiji followed her step by step. “Irene.” “Why.” “Why are you shy?” “You know, don’t ask me that.” A slurred tone of speech came out of nowhere. Then Seiji mischievously called me again. “Irene.” “Why are you calling me?” “Did you miss me?” “……uh?” I put on a bewildered look. Did you suddenly want to see me? Sage was calm in response to my embarrassment. “Ah. Did you just want to see me?” “……Uh, huh?” At that moment, someone’s startled murmur was heard along with the sound of breathing in all around. “…Crazy. What did I see now?” * same time. D.L.‘s eyes twinkled at the exciting news. “Is Asher looking into the past of the elders?” “Yes, yes. I think I’ve noticed something.” The man replied with his head bowed to the point of being burdensome. D.L laughed at the report of such a man. It was obvious why Asher was doing that. “Looks like they’re looking for you.” “…are you talking about me?” “Yes, you.”The man’s voice, as if scratching his vocal cords when he said that he was the purpose, stiffened somewhat. What would you like me to do, Diel? “Don’t do anything as usual.” I was trying to do something, but I could only be suspicious of it. Everything will look suspicious to Asher’s eyes now. There was no need to let them know that they were the culprits by their actions. “Don’t try to see more of what he’s doing, and don’t try to move away from suspicion.” Because that is the most suspicious behavior. D.L’s black eyes fluttered coldly. “Then you’ll get it wrong. Maybe you’re already suspicious of someone.”
109 The Kiras clan could not shut their mouths at the unbelievable sight that unfolded before their eyes. It’s because their master was acting like a nerd. Sage was hiding her claws and acting like a toothless tiger. I’ve never been cold even in the northern frosty winds. I got goosebumps. “I think the master is crazy.” Otherwise, I couldn’t do that. Or that Miss Astropel has a plan. The Kiras clan naturally agreed to it. Then someone mumbled something strange. “But the master’s pheromone is a little different… don’t you think it’s different from usual?” “what do you mean?” “…You seem to be courting. Maybe it’s because of your mood?” If it was normal, I’d laugh at it saying it’s nonsense. Upon hearing this, the Kiras clan widened their eyes as if they had been struck by lightning. Because I had a guess. Not long ago, it was a famous anecdote that Seiji wiped out the entire surrounding area. And wild beasts usually begin their territorial activity before meeting their mates. Oh, please. Maybe it’s not like that? Their voices started to get smaller. Don’t let the Astropel family hear their conversation. “So, you’re saying that the master is doing this now… to win the girl’s heart?” “Otherwise, why is the master like that? Can anyone explain?” No, there is no such person. They all shook their heads in unison. To be honest, everyone tacitly agreed.Based on the conversation we had now, looking at Seiji’s bizarre behavior, which he had never been able to understand, it was because all the circumstances were right. crazy. Can you say this? “…Your master has just been born. To become an adult…” They glanced at Sage. It was showing the most astonishing growth rate among all Kiras. In this state, it would be possible to become a Eucharist immediately. And this was much faster compared to the two successors of the Astropel family. For reference, Sage was born later than Irene. At this point, they began to have a question. What was it about that girl that made Sage so obsessed with her? They all looked at Irene in unison. Feeling the gaze, Irene tilted her head and looked back. It’s like looking around curiously with round pink eyes… The Kiras clan, who were staring straight ahead, thought about everything. ‘Like a snow rabbit.’ There are so many harmless creatures in the world. For the first time, Southern reptiles were envied. Kaid Astropel has become very virulent recently, so there was a good reason. And I remembered one thing I had forgotten. That the only animal that could survive in Seiji’s realm was the Snow Rabbit. Seiji asked as Irene kept stopping and looking back suspiciously. “Why, Irene?”“Um, I keep feeling your gaze, so when I look back, I can’t feel anything.” “okay?” Whoops. The inside of Sage’s wall looked coldly at the Kiras clan. Then his lips opened, and the shapes of his mouths came together. ‘Aren’t you cleaning your eyes?’ It was a clear warning. The Kiras clan lowered their eyes. At the same time, I couldn’t hide my sadness. In any case, even if you get caught, you will get caught by the master. This was what happened until Irene arrived at the entrance of Kiraas Castle and met Muhela. * The moment you enter the garden through the gates of Kiras. I could recognize at a glance who the woman in front of me was. Even without listening to explanations from those around her, her characteristics were so distinct that she could easily realize that she was Seiji’s mother. Muhela Kiras. He was the head of the northern part of this place and the owner of the Kiras family. She smiled contentedly as soon as our eyes met. “Welcome back, Irene. My name is Muhela Kiras. You’ve worked hard to come a long way.” “Hello, I’m Irene Astropel!” “Yes, nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy your stay here.” “thank you.” I bowed my head and glanced at her. Even though she was wearing colorful ornaments, she was so beautiful that she didn’t feel overdone at all.But in that beauty, I felt an unparalleled strength. It seemed to represent the North itself, like the castle of Kyraas towering high behind her. Muhela turned to Hestia and her escorts standing behind me. “Is that the doctor and escorts that Astropel said?” “Yes, yes. It is an honor to meet you, Lord Kiras.” Hestia said hello first. With her in the lead, Karma and the rest of the escorts all ignored her. Sage narrowed her brow. “… Your doctor?” “Yeah, I don’t know what’s going to happen in the North.” I gave the answer I had prepared as scheduled. It was certainly not common for the family doctor to accompany him. Seiji replied as if it was difficult to understand. “The Kiras family also has a doctor.” “Of course, there are good doctors, but I am the one who knows Miss Irene best.” Hestia replied with a smile. Seiji’s eyes twitched. There was a strange war of nerves between the two as to whether they didn’t like something. At the same time, my heart was pounding. Sage would have meant that the Kiras family’s doctor was sufficient, but in fact, that was the problem. It was difficult because my skills were excellent. If that’s the case, you’ll easily find out the secret to my pheromone. Is there any information that the Kiras family, who commands the northern part of the continent, can’t get? If he only wanted to get it, he would eventually get it. It was something that shouldn’t have happened. To do that, I have to be good. I decided to turn Sage’s attention first.“Sage, I’m cold. Let’s go inside.” Seiji looked down at his clenched arm as he hurriedly grabbed his hand. Then Seiji tilted his head. “cold?” “Yeah. It’s cold.” Seiji’s expression became subtle at my reply that it was cold. I could feel his eyes looking at me as if judging something. I pulled Sage’s arm like that. First of all, getting rid of Hestia is the priority. Fortunately, Sage followed me as I led. I couldn’t read what his expression was thinking. Muhela, who was watching us with interest, opened her mouth. “Sage, it would be nice if you showed me the room where Irene was staying.” “I am?” “Yeah. Isn’t it difficult for Arisa to guide everyone by herself?” Then, this time, the short-haired woman next to Muhela questioned in bewilderment. “Yes? Me?” It was as if she was Arisa. Arisa had a mysterious expression on her face, not sure if she was convinced that she would have a hard time with just such a thing. Then Muhela smiled and spoke again. “Yes. I am very worried that it will be difficult for you to guide the guests by yourself.” “……Yes?” “So, please guide me to Irene’s room, Seiji.” It happened in an instant. Hestia had a displeased face, but she could not dispute Muhela’s words and came to me. “Then I’ll go see you in a little while, Irene-sama. Please rest.”“Yeah, Hestia. Don’t worry too much about me.” I waved my hand saying it was okay. Arisa left with Hestia and her escorts to show them where to stay. Sage looked at me and said. “Then let’s go.” “Huh.” “The room is on the third floor.” “What about other people’s rooms?” We were walking in the opposite direction to those who left first. Sage pointed right upstairs. “This floor. Access to the third floor is restricted, so you have to use another staircase. It’s directly connected.” “That’s it.” I walked along with Sage. Kiras Castle was intricately intertwined like a maze. To the extent that I was worried that I might get lost. Besides……. “You can’t step there, Irene.” “Huh? What?” Paang! As soon as I put my left foot down, I heard the sound of something shooting through the wind. What do you mean? I turned my head in the direction of the sound. And I saw it. A trident that flies at a terrifying speed. I stiffened my body. …why the hell is the trident out there? Sage bit me back. And gently grabbed the window. “…Sage, what is this?” “I installed traps on purpose. There are sometimes things like this all over the castle.”why?! I was afraid to take a step forward. I don’t know where else this might come from. Or maybe this time the floor would turn off. Sage put the spear in the corner and led me. I took a deep breath and carefully stepped forward to only step on the floor that Seiji had stepped on. Then Seiji smiled a little. “There is nothing from here. That’s what my mother made when I was little.” “……Why?” “Because the senses develop.” Oh, I see. If you avoid such terrifying things, your senses develop. That’s why it was made. Although the Astropel family’s education method was not unusual, the Kiras family was also not formidable. The Kiras family was not known to the outside, so it had a strong sense of mystery and secret. I feel like I got a glimpse of the reality today. While walking down the hallway for a while, Sage stopped in front of the room at the far end. He looked back at me and asked. “So what?” “what?” “What you’re hiding.” Seiji’s eyes stared at me. The wall I encountered was quite relaxing. My heart was pounding. I expected that I would have noticed it to some extent by the time I came to the North, but I didn’t expect it to come so quickly. At my reaction, the corners of Seiji’s mouth rose slowly. “I don’t know what it is. If you’re trying to hide it, be more careful, Irene.” Especially in front of beasts. Sage whispered softly.
110 “It’s not the Sage I knew.” after returning to the room. I was seriously troubled. It seemed that Sage had become a completely different person whom I had not seen before. Sage, who had fun playing hide and seek together, could no longer find a trace. Be careful in front of wild beasts. Are you threatening me now? But there was one thing that Seiji didn’t know. “Heh. I’m not who I used to be?!” For some reason, Sage seemed to want to redefine our relationship. I heard that wild beasts set their ranks even among their friends. Maybe Sage wants it too? If that was the case, I was very sad and upset. “You idiot, Sage.” Who knows how to obey his will? If I had known that I would be happy, I would have been wrong. As I was sulking, I heard a knock. smart. “who are you?” “Lady, it’s me. It’s Hestia.” “Hestia!” “Do you like the room?” Hestia opened the door and looked inside. It seemed to make sure that I was ok to stay. “Yeah. I think he gave us a room with care. How about the room where Hestia and the other escorts live?” “It’s cozy and nice. I guess it wasn’t just the words that Kiras-sama prepared with care.” It was fortunate. It was because I was worried in my heart that I might be the only one living in a comfortable room. Hestia pulled something out of her pocket. It was a pheromone stone. The finely crafted purple pheromone stones glistened softly. Hestia handed it to me. “I’ve been collecting them all the way to Kiras Castle. Would you like to try it?” “Wow, it’s pretty. Let’s try it.” challang. A necklace with a pheromone stone as a point was hung around my neck. At that moment, a cool energy entered my body. I took a breath in surprise. I thought I was used to the subtle imbalance of pheromones. I could feel the unstable pheromone quickly regaining stability throughout my body. That’s why you said you needed the spirit of the north. “How are you, Miss Irene?” “It’s very comfortable, Hestia. I can see why Dad sent me north.” If you need the spirit of the North, there was a time when you wondered if it would be okay to send someone to bring it. I was curious as to why they had to send me to the North at the risk of revealing the family secret. It was because of this. Did Kaid know about this? Somehow, my heart sank. If I had thought of my family first, I wouldn’t have sent me to the North. Kaid’s sincerity touched me deeply. It must have been a difficult decision. When I was lost in thought, Hestia reached out to grab the necklace. “Girl, isn’t the energy right for your body? Then get rid of it…!”“Ugh, no. I’m not doing this for that. I’m fine, Hestia.” “Then why?” “Just. I want to see you.” I wanted to quickly regain stability and return to the waiting family. By now, Set should have returned to the southern part of Arvando. How will I react when I hear that I am in the North? There were a lot of things I wanted to ask, but it was a pity that I couldn’t. I’ll have to send you a letter this time. “Am I going to grow up fast again?” “I will, ma’am. Every time the pheromones find their balance, their growth accelerates.” “Won’t the northerners think it’s strange?” Growing up too fast would have been suspicious. Besides……. “Hestia.” “Yes, Miss Irene.” “Sage noticed that I was hiding something.” “Yes?” “Actually, you asked me earlier. What are you hiding?” And if you want to hide it until the end, be more careful in front of wild beasts. I swallowed the back. Hestia’s expression hardened. “Are you Sage Kiras?” “Yeah. I said I was careful, but I was caught. It seems like I don’t know the details.” “…well, it won’t be a big deal.” “Well?” Are you done with that? Hestia replied shaky. “For once, he won’t do anything to harm her.”“That’s what I think too. But this time, something a little awkward happened.” “Is it embarrassing?” “Huh.” I nodded my head shyly. Thinking about it again, my heart was heavy. Hestia asked with a curious face. “What happened?” “that is…….” I hesitated to answer. Is it okay to tell Hestia what happened between friends? I was worried that I would be living worrying about things that I had to solve on my own for nothing. As I hesitated, Hestia smiled softly. “It’s okay, tell me, miss. I’m also serving as your guardian here. You can tell me everything.” “I think Sage wants to organize the ranks.” “…Yes? Stand… Column arrangement?” After all, Hestia, the Black Mamba, is not even funny. I puffed up my cheeks and rubbed my lips. “It’s ridiculous even if Hestia hears it? It’s strange that you organize your ranks among friends. Besides, we live in completely different places.” That did Sage Kiras say that directly? “No, that’s not it.” I shook my head. But somehow it seems Other than that, nothing else came to mind. Hestia’s expression turned strange when she answered with a serious face. Slowly blinking her eyes, she covered her mouth and began to shake her shoulders. There were even faint tears forming in the corners of his eyes. I glanced at her sharply. “Is Hestia fun?”“…Pop, suck. No. It’s not. Uh, what should I do? You must have been very upset.” “I really hate it! It’s serious!” The more I thought about it, the more angry I got. When I complained with a fever, Hestia captured her expression. “Then, lady, what are you going to do from now on?” “Um, that’s…” * next day. Eyes gleamed. It was our first night at Kiras Castle. From head to toe in the blanket, I woke up softly. “Good morning, Miss Irene.” “Hestia…?” I turned my head in surprise. Hestia was sitting on the sofa reading a book. “How are you here?” “I’ve asked Lord Kiras to forgive me. I’ll only be with you while she adjusts to this place.” “That’s right. Thank you, Hestia.” Even so, the environment here was very different from that of the South. I thought it would take a while to get used to. I was relieved that Hestia was helping me. I laughed out loud. I am very strong. “Of course, that’s what I’m supposed to do.” “Yes.” “Then will you wake up, ma’am?” “Yes why?” As I was enjoying the afterglow of sleep in the blanket, I widened my eyes. “Today’s breakfast, head Kiras said, let’s go together.” “What?! What time is it?” I jumped up. The sun was already rising outside the window. Did you ask to have breakfast together? Maybe it’s too late? When I was confused, Hestia handed me the clothes I had prepared beforehand and said, “It’s not too late yet, so you can prepare slowly, Miss Irene.” “Really? …Oh, I’m glad.” “And you can change the pheromone stone to this.” “Yes! Thank you.” While sleeping at night, the necklace had turned cloudy. It seemed that the energy quickly went down. Thanks to you, I was able to sleep well. After changing the necklace, I entered the bathroom with light steps. I came out of the room after washing everything, and I left the room with Hestia. The snow outside the window was still unfamiliar to me. “Where is the restaurant?” “It’s on this floor. It seems that the users here are strictly prohibited from entering the third floor.” “That’s right. It’s different from the South.” The southern part could enter and exit with Kaid’s permission. Although entry and exit were strictly controlled from this floor. I decided to remember the differences from the South one by one. Because I can’t afford to make any mistakes. Coming down to this floor, I saw a large red door over the main hall. The rim of the door was decorated with gold. Hestia pointed to the door. “Here it is, lady.” Are you going with Hestia? “Yes. Fortunately, they allowed it. I think the head of Kiraas intends to take care of all the conveniences so that the young lady can have a comfortable stay.” “I must say thank you.”I opened the restaurant door and went inside. As the red chandelier caught my eye, I saw two people waiting for us to come. It was Muhela who greeted me first. “You came at just the right time. Please sit down, Irene.” “Thank you, Muhela. For allowing me to come with Hestia.” “Something that is nothing.” “But thank you. I think I will be able to live comfortably thanks to you.” It was sincere. After I said thank you several times, Muhela chuckled. He seemed to like my greetings quite a bit. I glanced at Sage. Since when have you been looking at me, our eyes met. I flinched at the unexpected glance. I was just going to check what you were doing, but our eyes met. This seems to have caught on that I care. I naturally went to my seat and sat down as if nothing happened. Seiji, who looked at me like that, spoke to me first. “Are you sleeping?” “Huh?” “I was wondering if you slept well. It’s your first time sleeping here.” “I slept well. Thanks for taking care of me, Seiji.” I ended the conversation with the nuance of giving a polite answer with a smile. And then he turned his head away.

77 he’s such a bad boy “Let me do that.” “really?” It was just something I said out of anger. Ella kept her mouth shut, unlike before. It looked like he was afraid that Kaid’s interest might return to him. But now he was showing all interest to me. As if she was nowhere to be seen. Then I have to worry about it now. Because the ball is over. “Appa. I’m Chuu.” I forgot for a moment, but the air here was very cool. Because he was barefoot and wearing only slippers, his legs were cold and his body was slightly cold. When I finished my work, I felt the cold again and my body trembled. Kaid clicked his tongue. “Get out.” “Uh.” Kaid took the lantern I was holding. and hugged me Holding him in a stable position, he said as he went up the stairs to the basement. “You’re cold. How long have you been here?” “Um. I don’t know.” “You did a good job of twisting Mess.” “……Hehe.” “Did that sound like a compliment?” synthesis! shut your mouth If you do it a little longer, you might get a really sweet night. When they came out completely underground, they saw Messiah and Bassard waiting. “Bassard?”why are you here Besides, Mess was completely embarrassed. Looking at the subdued atmosphere, it seems that something happened while I was away. I feel sorry for Mess. Obviously, I made a promise before going downstairs, but I didn’t keep it. “Mesis.” “Yes.” “I’m a lost wife. I’m taking care of myself. I’m too lazy to lie…” The further back he went, the lower his voice became. Mess looked at me and smiled brightly. “There are days like this because I live. I am deceived by the lady I serve.” “…… Hick.” I have no choice but to not be deceived next time. He ended his last words with a smile. Seeing the smile that was different from the usual, I felt a sense of crisis. From now on, you must never act deceitfully. “I’m not going to do that next time.” “Yes, thank you.” “Really.” “Yes, I believe.” …I don’t think so. I don’t think I believe anything. I decided to do something like this. The reason everyone gathered this morning was because of me. “Then everyone goes back.” “Yes?” Messi asked, confused. I was waiting for the punishment, but I was surprised that Kaid passed by. “Are you going back this way?” “Why. Do you want to be punished?”“It’s not like that.” Mess shook his hands and shook his head quickly. Bassad, who had been nervous about what punishment would be given, could be seen relaxing. “Irene cheated on this matter, so let’s move on.” “…Be good. It won’t happen in the future.” “I’m also reflecting on what I did wrong, so I’ll just go ahead and do this.” “Thank you, my lord.” Messiah and Bassad bowed their heads to greet them. I was not in a good mood. Because the two of us almost got into trouble because of me. I’ll have to be careful not to let this happen in the future. I swore in my heart. “Then let’s just break up.” At Kaid’s words, Basad and Mess quickly disappeared. In an instant, the hallway became quiet. I glanced sideways at Kaid. He was holding me and walking somewhere. I thought he would take me to my room, but I looked in the direction and it wasn’t. I think this is heading to the office. Do you want to separate yourself? There was something wrong with me, so I had a different idea. As soon as he looked carefully, Kaid opened his mouth. “It’s still a long way from sunrise. Would you have slept less?” “Ugh. Come on.” It was still dark outside the window. The sun will rise shortly after. To be honest, even if I went back to my room like this, I thought it would be difficult to fall asleep again because it was so bland. I rested my cheek on Kaid’s shoulder. “Appa. Where are you going now?” “bedroom.” “my room?” “No, my room.” Ah. I see. …no what? I lifted my cheeks that were leaning in surprise. Kaid’s bedroom was next to the office, and there was another door in the room. When I opened the large door that opened on both sides, I saw a large room. The bedroom was surprisingly decorated with many things. There were several flowerpots on the windowsill and paintings hung on the walls. In addition, small objects that felt someone’s touch were found everywhere. When I looked at them curiously, Kaid said. It was touched by Estella during her lifetime. “Ah.” “I’d rather sleep here today.” “……here?” Kaid put me on the big bed. The slippers that were hanging on the tip of his toes fell to the floor. The soft blanket was touched by the tip of his hand. But why did Kaid bring me here? He said as I looked up curiously and covered the duvet. “You know the reason better. There were many things that happened to you today.” “……Uh.”I did. Actually, my mind was blown. I was worried about how to sleep in my room alone. Kaid lay down next to me. He patted me awkwardly as he looked at me lying on his side with one arm supported. “Don’t keep today’s work in mind.” “Uh?” “I’ll make sure to bury it in the ground as soon as possible.” “That’s me.” Bassie laughed. My heavy heart, which had been sank, softened slightly. I gradually closed my eyes at Kaid’s pats. I thought you would never sleep. It was like magic. So I fell asleep. * flash. When I woke up, I was alone in bed. I jumped up and looked at the empty seat. It’s still morning, have you already left? “Appa……” I called Kaid a little. No answer was heard. I cried out loud again. “Appa!” “Wake up.” Then the door opened and Kai came in. It was like being in the office outside the bedroom. It had been a while since he had woken up, and he had already washed and changed clothes. “You know I’m gone.” “You’re still a child. How have you slept alone all this time?” “And then Rodaria…”
Hut. So, what happened to Rosaria? You must have been very surprised to see me not in the room in the morning. Besides, yesterday, I had sent Rozaria to her, saying she was going to sleep alone. When I stopped talking and my expression became serious, Kaid asked, biting the tail of the horse. “Rosaria?” What if Rodaria finds me and writes it down? “Ah. That’s the point. I’ve already gone in a bang.” “Bur, already?” He came to me early in the morning because I was contemplating. “Ugh.” I was stiff. Kaid shook his head. “I think you should stop worrying about Rosaria and wash up first.” “Uh.” Let’s wash and think. I entered the bathroom. To my surprise, the bathroom had everything I needed for washing. It seemed that Kaid had not forgotten it and kept it. I stepped up the stairs with all my might. In the past, when you climbed up like this, you could only see the top of your head, but now you can see the entire face. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I wiped my face with a towel. Where is the lotion? As I was looking around, Kaid, who was waiting in front of me, held out a round barrel. “Looks like you’re looking for this.” “Uh, let’s do it! Appa is the best.” I dipped a lot of lotion and applied it. chop. chop. chop.I was rubbing my cheeks with the palm of my hand, and Kaid stared at me. “Why?” “here.” “Uh?” Kaid reached out and rubbed the back of his forehead and nose. “It didn’t work out.” “In addition?” “I see you here often.” “no.” “Did you just say ‘again’ with your mouth?” “……” “Who said I won’t lie from now on?” That was… there was nothing to say. However, since there is no mirror, it is unavoidable that it cannot be applied accurately. “Only occasionally.” “Say yes.” “tooth.” But where are the clothes? I looked around to find a change of clothes. Going out in pajamas is a little different. “What are you looking for?” “Appa, where are my clothes?” “……” “……Upseo?” I guess I prepared everything including washing up and lotion, but I forgot my clothes? Kaid meekly admitted. “I forgot.” I was told to prepare it, but he didn’t seem to care until then.can’t do it I just have to go back to this state. I stood in front of the mirror and trimmed my slightly frizzy hair with my hands. Kai was watching it. I don’t know for some reason, but it seemed strange that I was doing this. “It’s all over.” This is enough for you to look at. Compared to the hair Rosaria always did, it was very different. squeak. There was a loud rumble in the bedroom. I flinched. did you hear There’s only the two of us in the room, so of course I heard it. Kaid let out a windy laugh. “I’m going to go eat.” “Uh…….” “egg plant.” I quickly grabbed Kai’s hand. How about a nightgown? It’s our house after all. As I came out of Kaid’s room, I could feel the passing vassals smirking. It seemed strange to me as I was walking holding hands with Kaid in pajamas since morning. As I was dragging my slippers, I saw Ian and Helena not far away. Helena found us and waved warmly. “I was on my way to dinner, and it was good. We were all going to have breakfast together…” Helena looked at my outfit and tilted her head curiously. “Why is Irene wearing pajamas?”
78 “Goog…” I hesitated to answer. If I said I had been to the basement, I thought it wouldn’t be right. You promise you won’t lie and you do it right away. I was thinking about what to do while twitching my hand, but Kaid was faster. “Because I’m afraid to sleep alone.” …when did I do that? I looked at Kaid in a bewildered way. If you say that, you will become a child who can’t sleep at night! “That’s right. Irene is still afraid of sleeping alone.” Helena smiled as if she understood immediately. I nodded my head tremblingly. “Are you afraid to sleep alone…?” Conversely, Ian muttered to himself as if he never understood. “If we all want to eat together, I’ll have to call Set and Arban as well.” “I’ve already sent someone. Let’s go straight to the restaurant.” Somehow, the whole family got together. Set and Arban, who were coming into the restaurant together, looked at me and paused for a moment. “What’s wrong with your clothes? Did you oversleep?” “no?” “then?” ugh If you ask me that, I have to be a kid who can’t sleep alone again. When I hesitated to answer, Helena kindly explained to me instead.“Irene is afraid, so you slept with your dad.” .. of course. A case was heard when Set was drinking water. Arban looked at me with a strange face. “What are you afraid of?” Set, who was sitting next to him, said. “Sleeping alone is scary.” “……” “no?” This isn’t it…. “Oh my gosh, are you still afraid of Irene-sama sleeping alone?” Even Baharn, who was serving food, listened to the conversation. I shook my head saying no. “No. I’m not afraid of one or two.” “Then why are you wearing only pajamas?” “Oh, that’s…!” I went to the basement and got caught and got caught! The words I wanted to say came up to my neck, but I pressed them down. I cried and looked at Kaid, asking me to do something. He was having fun with the situation. He shrugged his chin as he watched us arguing. Im still a child, so I can. And just nailed it. “You can. Then have a good time.” Baharn, who brought all the food, survived with a haha smile. I rolled the tomato pasta around with a fork. Each plate was served with pasta to suit everyone’s taste.Arban, who was taking a large bite of the pasta topped with cheese, covered his mouth as if laughing at me. “It’s fun to eat together. Thanks to Irene, the atmosphere is bright.” “Right.” Ian said briefly. I was so surprised that I missed the fork I was eating. clink. Ian cut the noodles in his mouth and looked at him blankly. Ian looked at the fork I had missed seriously and said: “Weak power is a problem. You can’t even lift a fork properly. That’s why.” He took a slice of smoked roast duck and served it to me. “Eat it.” “…hiccup.” “Isn’t that supposed to be big?” “Yes, thank you.” Ever since we met at the mansion, Ian, who has never liked me, has changed. What happened last night? When I received the meat, Ian looked at me carefully, and this time started putting the crispy fried shrimp on the plate. “Eat this too.” “Yes.” With that, Ian continued to carry food onto my plate. I can’t eat it all by myself. As she sighed as she looked at the food that was gradually piling up, Helena smiled brightly when she heard the sound. “You look embarrassed. Probably because of what you saw in the office yesterday.” “…in the office?” What did you see that suddenly changed like this?I did not get used to it because I did it so well overnight. Helena opened her mouth as she was under a burdensome food offensive. By the way, isnt it time for Set and Arban to get away from each other? “that’s right.” Set replied yes. I listened to the first words I heard. What is escape? “Oh, is it already time for that?” “You don’t even care about your kids, what are you doing?” When Kaid reacted as if he had forgotten, Helena was bruised. “It must have happened by accident. You forgot such an important thing.” Everyone except me seemed to know what molting was. I raised my hand. All eyes turned to me. “what?” Kaid looked at me. “How long is molting?” “Oh, this must be the first time I’ve heard of it. Literally taking off the skin.” “……Uh?” what do you take off? skin? I was startled. For a moment I imagined something terrifying. As my complexion turned white, Ian shook his head. You dont understand when I say that. If I explain it simply, I get rid of everything I dont need. “You don’t need it? What do you need?” “…the outer skin.” After all, it’s the same thing.I looked at Set and Arban with concern. Isn’t it very painful to escape? I think the outer skin refers to the skin. “It hurts.” “It hurts.” Kaid replied. “Why don’t you do it?” You can’t do it if you’re sick. Why do I have to prepare myself for pain? “It’s a must.” “Why?” “Because that’s the way to become an adult.” adult? I opened my eyes wide. Are you saying that when you molt, you become an adult? So, what we’ve been talking about so far seems to have been that the two of you should prepare to become saints. Arban laughed. “When are you going to class?” “…it will be big.” “Oh, yes.” Arban, who ate all the food, drank the drink sarcastically. As the cup exposed the bottom, there was a sound of sucking air. “I hope to visit Hestia soon.” “Yes, got it.” Set replied. adult. Only those words were floating around in my head. It’s been half a year since I broke an egg and was born. Spring has passed and now it is early summer. I’ve only grown a little bit taller, but there hasn’t been any noticeable change. If those two are preparing to become adults, when will I grow up? Helena patted my head as I felt an aura of anxiety.“Don’t be too impatient. Irene, the time will come soon for you too.” Instead of answering, I nodded. “When you’re done eating, will you come and change your clothes? I heard that Kaid is taking a family photo today.” * As soon as breakfast was over, I hurriedly ran into the room. “Rodaria!!” Irene-sama, if you come like that, you will fall. “That’s not the problem!” I was heartbroken. I need to get ready and go! As I stomped my feet in place, Rozaria looked at me in amazement. I ran out of breath so fast that I ran out of breath. “Speak slowly.” “family photo!” Did you say that you are taking family photos today? “Uh!” “That’s great! I’ve been preparing for it since you told me in advance.” Rosaria opened the closet. Inside, there was a clothes I had never seen before, wrapped in plastic. It was a one-piece dress that looked more formal than the clothes she usually wears for everyday life. When were you preparing this without me knowing? “Look at this, Irene. It’s so pretty, isn’t it? The purple and black color seems to represent the color of our family, so I prepared it.” “Wow, it’s really pretty. But what if I just change clothes?” “Yes. Others said that the experts came on business trips.”It seemed that Kaid was fully prepared. Calling in people from outside. “Are professional photographers coming too?” “Wow. It’s going to be taken very nicely.” “I told you in advance to prepare a separate use for putting it in a frame.” Rosaria rolled her eyes. I covered my mouth as I was about to scream with excitement. “Rhodiaria is the best!” Rosaria smiled broadly as I gave my thumbs up. I quickly changed my clothes. The dress matched the color of my hair strangely. My hair was so white that I was worried that it would splatter, but it was nothing to worry about. “Then shall we go? We are going to take a family photo in the garden. The weather is so nice today, so it’s perfect.” “Let’s go. If it comes out beautifully, it’s tight.” see you every day I went to the garden with Rosaria. When I came down to the garden, the outsiders were moving in unison. Everyone seemed to be the experts Kaid had summoned. I found a large camera placed in the garden. You’re shooting with that. My heart was pounding.
79 “Irene, you’re so pretty.” “Grandma!” I was surprised to see Helena. Because she was so pretty. She was wearing a fluttering red dress, like a mermaid. “Your clothes suit you very well.” “Thank you.” But Helena is prettier. As I lost my mind, she smiled shyly. “Thanks to you, I’m grateful to try on these clothes.” “Apppa prepared it…” Helena snorted as she muttered that it wasn’t my fault. “If you hadn’t brought up the family photo, it probably wouldn’t have been taken until you became an adult.” I wish I could have done that, but it made sense. Because when I brought up the family photo, Kaid didn’t seem to have thought of it. “Would you like to go over there? There are people who do the hair for you.” “Yes.” I walked to where Helena was pointing. There, a woman she had never seen for the first time was grooming her pretty jewelry. “Welcome, lady. What kind of hair do you like?” She handed me the book. As everything was unfamiliar to her, the woman turned over the bookshelves one by one and showed the shape of her hair. “If it’s pretty, it’s all Joa.” “Hmm. I think it’s better to decorate with ornaments than to put your hair up.” The woman who had been stroking my hair while looking at the mirror installed in front of the chair nodded. And it was instant. It doesn’t look like he’s done a lot of work, but his hair was done in no time. I looked in the mirror and shook my head. A flower headband with abundant inner leaves gently fixed the side hair, and I don’t know what she did, but her hair was shiny. “How do you like it?” “Ugh, I like this.” I answered, fiddling with the flowers on my headband. A sparkling jewel hung between the petals and in the middle of the band. “Irene.” “Huh? Arban Oppa?” I saw Arban walking behind the mirror. Arban was wearing a wide white shirt and black pants. In addition to that, the curly hair that was strong enough was drawing a nice curve. Looking at it like this, you look like a real rich man. I turned and looked up at Arban. “Oppa, looking at you like this, you’re a real master gata!” “…What do you mean. If I’m not the master, what am I?” “……” “what.” right. Arban was the master. But why are you so shriveled up? I nodded my head shyly. “If you’ve done it for a long time.” “Ugh, go now.” Arban must have been on an errand to fetch me. We arrived at the place where we were all gathered. Kaid, Set, and Ian were also ready. Set wore a white shirt and black pants like Arban, but the design was slightly different. If Arban was wearing a shirt with a rich and elegant feeling, Set was wearing a neat and colorful shirt. Kaid was wearing a formal uniform-style suit, and on his right chest was a silver brooch made of a family crest. Likewise, Ian was wearing a black suit, but was wearing the same color tie as Helena. “Are you all gathered?” When Arban and I arrived, the photographer in a brown beret asked. He leaned against the camera and looked at us. “Everyone has arrived.” Kaid replied. In the garden, beautifully carved white tables and chairs were placed for the number of people. It seemed like they were all taking a break in the garden together. There were actually refreshments and tea coming out. “Irene, come and sit down.” I was contemplating where to sit, and Ian called. Then, is there any other Irene besides you? “It’s not like that.” Then you are right that you called me. Are you a little surprised? As I headed towards Ian and Helena, this time Kaid called me. “Where are you going?” “Uh?” “You should come here.” “But the installments are…” Ian called me. As I was at a loss not knowing where to go, Ian frowned and bruised. “Isn’t it okay for one of the grandchildren to sit together?”What are you talking about. Irene is my daughter. Set and Arban are also sitting here.” “So, why don’t you just sit here with at least one person?” … Now, I was fighting over a seat. The photographer had a puzzled expression on his face. “Irene, decide. Where are you going to sit?” “Of course you’ll be here, aren’t you?” “I saw Grandpa for the first time, and he said he wouldn’t sit here?” Why is this happening to me? No matter where I went, I was afraid of the aftermath. So, I may not be able to take pictures today. After thinking for a while, the photographer finally raised his hand. “I.” “what?” Kaid raised his eyebrows. Talking to me at the moment I was about to make a choice seemed to bother me. hib. Taking a deep breath, the photographer held the camera as tight as his life and made an opinion. “Why don’t you just sit in front of the masters and the young lady, and the other three go back and stand?” “That’s a good comment!” Helena quickly nodded and grabbed Ian’s arm. “Yes?” “…I can’t.” Ian got up reluctantly. In the end, there were only three chairs left. “The young lady should sit in the middle, and the two masters on either side. The master will stand in the middle. The remaining two should stand one at each side of the master.”It was a very neat arrangement. I straightened my back with a straight posture. Once the situation was settled, the photographer prepared to take the picture. “Okay then, let’s take a picture. One, two… Three!” A photo was taken with a click. The photographer spoke again. “I’ll take one more shot. Please smile a little!” He looked at the camera and made the next request. I smiled broadly. But the photographer was startled and waved his hand. “…don’t smile, I’ll just go with an expressionless face.” “I told you to laugh earlier.” Arban quickly lowered the corners of his lips that had been forcibly raised. What the hell did the photographer see, so he waved his hand in such awe? I wanted to laugh. As he rubbed his lips, the photographer stretched out three fingers and said: “Then I’ll take another picture. Three, two, one!” Heh, I’ll laugh though, well. I smiled broadly as the second ended. Maybe everyone is expressionless, but I’m the only one smiling. It looked like it would be fun too. The photographer stood up and looked at me and smiled. “Yes, it turned out very well. One last time.” So we were able to finish the schedule by taking all the last photos. * “Come here, Irene. Did you bring what you need?” “Yes!” I nodded vigorously. Helena smiled very contentedly when she saw what I was carrying. It was the dagger she had given her.I looked up at Helena. She seemed excited to be able to teach me how to handle a dagger. “I’ll show you how to use it for a second. Can you give it to me?” “Yes.” Helena was handed a dagger. She swung the dagger with one hand. It was a simple action, but it seemed unusual. The dagger that had been moving splendidly in her hand disappeared in an instant. I opened my eyes. Even though it was happening right in front of my nose, I couldn’t see where it went. “Where did you go?” “Uh, where are you going?” When I asked a question, Helena said with a firm face. “Irene, what if you can’t see it? If you miss it without knowing where the opponent’s weapon went… that moment…” Helena pretended to cut her throat. “It’s over.” “I didn’t see it. It’s too fast.” Even looking at it again, it didn’t seem like it would. where the hell did you go Curiously, looking around Helena’s hand, she pulled the dagger smoothly from between her sleeves. She started giving a brief explanation. “A lot of people think that daggers aren’t usually used as weapons. Sometimes they’re just used for stabbing, cutting, and throwing.” swish. swish. Helena held the dagger lightly and showed her stabbing and cutting in the air. I wondered as I looked at it in amazement. Looking at it this way, the dagger was too small and short. In addition, in the event of an armed conflict, the enemy had no choice but to get closer to each other. “Grandmother, why did you give me the dagger as a gift?” There must be many weapons other than daggers. Helena smiled shyly. “Actually, it’s my taste. I like daggers the most and handle them well. So I thought I could give you a good idea.” “That’s right.” It made sense. I decided to ask the next question. “Why do you like the dagger the most?” Is there any special reason? Helena looked worried for a moment as if she didn’t know how to even ask such a question. Hmm why do you like it? Helena smiled as if she had finally figured out the reason. “Isn’t it good to be a surprise. It can be easily hidden. I think that’s the biggest reason.” “… well, that’s right.” cancel. The thought that there might be a special reason was cancelled. “Then I’ll tell you the posture, Irene. At first, I’ll hold it lightly like I’m holding an egg like this.” Helena put the dagger in my hand and explained. And all that afternoon. I had to undergo Helena’s loving training.

Sage leaned her arms against the window sill and leaned over. Being trapped on both sides, there was no place to escape.
I looked at Sage in embarrassment. He stared at me and frowned.
“Then why do you provoke people by saying things like that. You know how far I will go.”
what if I said that?
I was embarrassed and fanned it with my hands. I didn’t mean to.
I don’t know where to turn my gaze.
“You’re not looking at me.”
That’s because I’m not trying to see you.
I squeezed the words that came up to the end of my neck.
The still burning face showed no sign of subside.
He placed his hands on both cheeks to cool them down, and Seiji’s hands were placed on top of them.
His head swung up.
I shut my eyes tight.
Soon, a soft touch descended on his forehead and then moved away. Next, the lips touched the eyes, then the nose.
I don’t think my heart will be left behind.
In the next expected position, my hand trembled underneath.
As they took in a small breath, their lips touched slightly, and Sage pounded the bean’s forehead.
I opened my eyes and covered my forehead.
Unlike me, who was overheated, Sage looked very peaceful.
Without realizing it, I put my hand on my lips. It seemed as if the texture of the lips that had just touched was still there.
His gaze went to Seiji’s lips.
I looked at it blankly, then suddenly came to my senses.
what am i watching now?
Embarrassment flooded in, and he coughed in vain and decided to quickly change the topic.
One question, will her past life as a fox ever become relevant? Or is it just gonna be a excuse to use the transmigration genre lmao
