Waa hoping for a spoiler but seems like no one's here So in the first story the ml and mc didn't end up together because of a big misunderstanding, note: the mc hasn't fallen in love with the ml at this world but feels affection, the ml on the other hand suffer from lovesickness throughout his life as an emperor and never married any empress or concubine. The mc woke up like 600 or 60 years later i think. Im just starting the second part of mc's life

But the guards wouldn't act without ML's orders though? From what I gathered in the last chapter of the first arc, MC couldn't see ML for 2 months because ML was avoiding him. What made MC finally leave was because he noticed how the guards were lying about ML's whereabouts and how one of them said how You Shu should enjoy his freedom and let go of ML already. I would have wanted to see ML regretting his decision but the next chapter confused me too much. I was wondering if I missed a chapter or extra cause the I didn't see any mention of MLs lovesickness orz. EDIT: Wait. Nevermind. I just checked the thread you linked before.
