    好吧,阻止N P。看完系统介绍的叶之洲抽抽嘴角,为了安全回家,果断开始了这场冒险之旅——就当是在玩一个大型拟真攻略游戏好了。

Alright, prevent NP. After he finished reading the System’s introduction, Ye Zhizhou’s mouth twitched. In order to return home safely, he decisively started his adventure--he’ll just take it as him playing a large scale strategy game.

Looks like it just means Harem. Oh well, to use the chinese NP or not... hmmmmmm

    The beautiful summary:

The unmarried twenty-years old Ye Zhizhou suddenly obtained a couple more relatives. He didn’t even have time to clarify the situation yet when he was involved in a traffic accident for some unknown reason and was near death. After he strangely did not die, he was still forced into being bound with a Savior System.

    Why savior?

NP (Harem) will destroy the world! Preventing NP means saving the world!

    ……

Alright, prevent NP (harem). After he finished reading the System’s introduction, Ye Zhizhou’s mouth twitched. In order to return home safely, he decisively started his adventure--he’ll just take it as him playing a large scale strategy game.

Since then, the people who the protagonist would to save, he would save first. The business the protagonist would do, he would do it first. The little bro the protagonist would receive, he would receive them first. The protagonist would jump a cliff, he would jump first. The protagonist wants to be gay, he would… hold it, there shouldn’t be that. Change it change it.

    ???: No, this is fine.

    Ye Zhizhou (Alarmed): Who’s speaking?

    ???: Your Husband.

    Ye Zhizhou: …...

Oh man, this arc is an arc that would be hell to translate b/c of names. In purely pinyin w/o tones, MC, the protag, and their dad would all have the exact same name, Zou Qing, so I can imagine how confusing MTL would be.
The original storyline that the System gives is that MC, the spoiled legitimate son who's engaged to the general (who's crippled in war), drugs the protag, the illegitimate son, to get married in his place. Of course, it gets found out, but MC's family is adamant about keeping it this way and refuses to let MC also marry over as the general's family demands, sending MC away to hide in the countryside. After a year of living terribly at the general's manor, the general miraculously recovers and the protag gets a divorce letter and is kicked out.

The protag goes back to his original home, but his father and birth mother (concubine) just throw him some money and shoo him away, and in his grief, he commits suicide and a modern guy's soul goes into his body. The protag then goes off to leisurely travel, living a carefree life and meeting his harem members one by one. However, he's straight (and also from modern times where there isn't a third gender that's male but can get pregnant), so every time a harem member falls in love, he runs away to start anew, and the cycle repeats. One of the harem members he meets is a powerful killer, who later helps him get revenge and sell MC to a brothel, where MC dies miserably.

Later, the general kidnaps the protag and confines him in the general's manor since he's suppose to be his wife, and the harem members (who have met and decided to team up) try their best but can't beat the general. Eventually, the killer manages to sneak into the manor and rescue the protag out, except the protag has been poisoned and no longer has his beautiful face. This whole ordeal made the protag appreciate the harem members and decide to accept them all, and they all still vow to love the protag even though he no longer has his former beauty. After that, they screw over the general, eventually leading to his death, and they go live in the woods away from civilization as one big happy family.

Due to the general's death, the country's border defenses are heavily weakened and the enemy country attacks, and the rest is as I've already written about previously.

This is basically an arc of switched identities. The first thing that MC sees upon waking up is that he's confined in this room that can only be reached by a ladder, and is getting yelled at by a servant for being the illegitimate son that wrongly married into the general's manor. Obviously, MC is like, wtf, aren't I suppose to the the spoiled legitimate son that ran away to the countryside after making his half-brother take his place??

The System assures MC that there is no mistake to his identity, but obviously reality is saying otherwise. So what really happened was, when MC and the protag were young and were both sent to the countryside after getting sick (MC was purposely infected while the protag was only fake sick), the protag's mom (the concubine) switched their identities, making the protag become the "legitimate" son and brainwashing MC to think he's the "illegitimate" son. She used poison to change their appearances, but since MC has magical pills, he undoes the poison in front of his parents and the protag's mom, revealing his real face and the truth. The protag's mom gets killed. It also explains why when the "protag" went home after getting divorced in the original storyline, his supposed birth mother treated him so coldly.

After more deducing, MC is sure that in the original plotline, his original host was switched out again during when he was "rescued" from the general's manor by the killer harem member. The protag at the time was "mysteriously poisoned" and when healed, his looks changed, plus he also had a sudden personality change and accepted all the harem members, even having kids with all of them, when before, he was adamant against all of this.

Anyways, now that the identity switch is known, MC's mom arranges the protag (who's hiding in the countryside) to get married to this merchant that's addicted to gambling, and MC is thinking that all is going well since the protag won't get the chance to meet the harem members now that he's married and confined at home. Then, the System alerts MC that the "plot" has changed, and asks if MC wants to read about the new plot.

So in the new plot, the protag is the bullied illegitimate son that has lived his whole life in the countryside and is forced into a terrible marriage by MC's horrible mother. However, the day after he marries in, bandits attack and kills everyone. The protag miraculously escapes heavily wounded and is saved by a passing doctor, after which how he meets the harem members is slightly changed, but the ending remains the same.

MC is really alarmed b/c according to the new timeline, he needs to rush to where the protag meets his 1st harem member at this inn to prevent that from happening. At this time, MC and ML are very happily married, and even though MC gives a far-fetched excuse to rush to where he needs to be, ML doesn't question it at all and prepares the fastest horses, going with MC. They reach the inn ahead of schedule and also investigate the supposed "bandit attack" that killed off the entire protag's husband's family.

That family was located in the middle of a huge city, so a bandit attack that burned down everything instead of stealing money is really unlikely. It turns out that the officials strongly suspect that the protag was the one to kill everyone there, but due to the protag being related by marriage to ML's family, they were hesitant to offend by bringing up chargers (why the protag got away w/ it in the original storyline). ML and MC obviously aren't going to let that happen, so a search warrant is released. MC is super, super pissed at the protag b/c he basically murdered an entire family in cold blood, including the elderly and babies, and is determined to catch the protag for his crimes.

ML leaves to take care of the official aspects, and leaves guards outside MC's inn door, and that night, MC hears a guard question this person outside. MC grows suspicious b/c the person claims to be the pageboy of the 1st harem member that the protag was suppose to meet, who after drinking w/ the protag, end up sleeping together. This is ahead of schedule, but the 1st harem member was suppose to be traveling alone, so MC suspects the "pageboy" is the protag and goes knocking on their door.

MC interrupts the protag's attempt to sleep with the 1st harem member (who was drugged w/ an aphrodisiac). After being confronted on charges of murder, the protag tries and almost escapes, but is caught. MC finds that the protag has all sorts of weapons, poisons, and a strong aphrodisiac on him, and starts wondering who the person backing the protag is, b/c there's no way he should have had access to such things. The prime suspect is their grandma, who always seemed to dote on the protag and the protag's mom.

Turns out, the grandma is also a fake, and is actually the protag's mom's birth mother and the real grandma's twin. Years back, she killed the real grandma and took her place, which also explained why the protag and MC's identity switch went so smoothly, since it wasn't the first time such a thing was done. When she gets exposed, she kills herself.

Anyways, protag is sentenced to be killed, but before that can happen, the killer (the harem member who the protag wasn't even suppose to have met yet) bails him out. MC and ML spend a lot of effort trying to catch him, but eventually fail. They get really close but only catch the killer b/c the protag backstabbed him to escape alone. Turns out, the fake grandma had blackmail on the killer which was why he helped the protag even though he had no reason to, and would have died if MC didn't save him w/ pills.

The protag successfully escapes, and years later, the killer is now employed under ML (after confessing all he knew and begging to serve ML). ML is getting ready to leave for the borders again, and a troupe of actors have been invited to the general's manor to perform before he leaves. MC tells ML and the killer to go watch the play while giving them some grapes, saying that he's off to pick more b/c of how delicious they are. MC takes a few guards w/ him b/c they're tall and strong and thus can pick grapes more easily, and takes them to a side court that absolutely does not grow grapes.

Turns out, MC had already seen through the conspiracy b/t the killer and the protag (posing as a helper in the actor troupe), and used this chance to lure them both into acting so that the protag who's been in hiding can finally be caught. They fall into MC's trap, and their plan of taking advantage of the general leaving for the border to "switch" MC with the protag falls through. The protag is seriously deranged, going on about how MC's happy marriage should have been his and everything MC had should have been his, etc. He's finally killed and the killer happily goes to serve a life-sentence in jail after MC destroys the blackmail the protag had on him (why he was even helping a guy who almost killed him in the first place).

Some of this might seem disjointed b/c I left out a lot of details, but this is the general gist of what happens. Seriously, this arc was essentially identity switch after identity switch, and MC even mocks the protag at the end for thinking he can pull off another identity switch. There was no way that would have worked even if they did miraculously switch MC out, b/c there's no way ML would ever mistake anyone else for MC.

MC and ML live happily until they die of old age. MC never gets pregnant b/c he asks the System for an infertility pill very early on. ML's reaction to MC's inability to have children was essentially: I'll love you no matter what, besides having a kid would mean having to share you w/ someone else, and then you might love the kid more than me, so you know what, you can't have any children, I won't ever allow it, *aggressively makes MC promise not to have kids*

The logic is hilarious but so very much ML. In one of the other arcs, MC's even laments how ML's jealousy problem has even reached the point of getting jealous of himself lol~

NP is anything that isn't 1-v-1, essentially 1-v-n, where n is any integer greater than 1. 1-v-1 is CP, and anything else is NP. It's essentially harem.

Where MC comes from, humanity has evolved to unlock this psychical power. Honestly, I don't know if that's the best translation for it, but it's a mental power that's tied to and strengthens your soul. You can use it to influence people's emotions, break people's minds (one of the most serious crimes in MC's original world), among other things, and it's also a unique fingerprint that will follow you even through reincarnations.

ML accidentally awakened this power in the 1st world after continuously being exposed to it b/c MC used it to cure his insomnia. It's kind of like, the essence of their souls? After the 3rd world, MC realizes that ML's psychical power has been getting weaker each world and it's reflected in ML's worsening physical condition (why he always has a headache in world 2, and why he's super, super weak and sick in world 3). Since this power is tied to one's soul, this should not be happening since it should stay constant even after reincarnating, so MC realized that ML has been using this as compensation to be able to purposely reincarnate in the worlds that he goes to. MC then started to purposely train and strengthen this aspect of ML, since if not, ML would start using his very soul as compensation, and that be really bad. There's no way he'd stop following MC even at the risk of erasing his very existence, so MC can only try and prevent that by re-building his psychical power in each world.

Lovers would intertwine this psychical power and a lot of the time, ML's would unconsciously emit his to intertwine w/ MC's when MC is near. This probably isn't how ML recognizes MC (since there are worlds where he recognizes MC even when he isn't able to use psychical power), but it's what MC uses to recognize ML. It wasn't super clear in the text, but I think this is also the power that aids MC in hacking the internet. It's pretty OP but very dangerous depending on how you use it.

Iirc, the protag took over a rabbit boy who was an orphan(?) that was kind of adopted or became close to MC.

This is based on mtl, so feel free to correct it :)
