There was a rumour in high school that I never slept

When I was in high school there was a weird rumour I didn’t sleep and just looked into the void of the dark sky till the sun came up why did people say this? I need answers what did I do to make them think this?

It's just a rumour for a reason and people just teased you about it cause it seemed fun or maybe you gave them an eccentric reaction which amused them so they just said it or none of those lol.

I was rather robotic rarely showed human emotions to others and stayed quite most of the time
