So, my family has a pretty unique sense of humour that outsiders don't often get~! But even among my family, I have specific notes of humour that everyone else just stares at me for. I don't really mind laughing by myself, but it's a little sad not to be able to share these things with others. For example, I really love musical comedy, like this (WARNING: Pierre and Marianne is a little bit NSFW): What sort of things do you find funny that no one else seems to?
I did not, because School Days was technically my first high school romance anime. I got scarred for life watching that shit ending. Before watching Future Diary, this was what also introduced me to the concept of yandere. Though the protagonist of School Days did kinda had it coming to him. I mean karma was his bitch, and his bitch definitely did not just bark.
Bird. This one word is what makes me laugh. During a boring class in a classroom with no internet access, my friend (who was sitting beside me) was playing the dinosaur game. He was really focused, and his score was crazy high. You know how those flying aerodactyls appear in later stages right? He was dealing with those. I slowly approached and said "bird." over his shoulder. He reflexively tried to dodge the nonexistent bird, and died. Due to the sorrow of his highscore being ruined, he punched my shoulder. I reflexively elbowed his chin while letting out a "fuuuu" due to pain. I swallowed the remaining three letters when I noticed everyone including teacher looking at us. Nobody said anything for the rest of the lesson.
‘Science’ in movies. I will be sitting in the theater and burst out with very loud laughter and no one else in the theater has any idea why. Example: “Be careful! Radiation has been pooling in the corners for years!”
I very much enjoy dark humor, but scarce are the people around me who do: Examples: Dark humor is like an anti-vaxxer's kid, it never gets old. Why can't orphans play baseball? They don't know where home is. "You the bomb!" said one "No, you the bomb!" said the other -- Complementing in America, an argument in the Middle East. Spoiler: Pics
Oh, dark humour is kind of strange... I always laugh, even though I don't want to. Back in high school, I had a friend who only made dark humour jokes. One of them still scars me to this day.
Well.... there's this one thing I haven't been able to get out of my mind all day. Yanno this song? and this meme? Well, at 2:15, SnoopDogg is like "in my book, they say sharin' is carin'" and my brain is like but Karen ain't sharin' the kids XDD dang, I found this so funny when I first thought of that ... Unfortunately, it isn't as funny written out *sniffs* Also, this
Spoiler: Paedophilia joke; enter at own risk What's the difference between a fridge and a baby? Spoiler: Answer The fridge doesn't cry when you slam your meat in it. ... Years later, I still shudder.
True story... Adam’s Family Values I watched in theater... When they had the gushing blood scene in the school play, I laughed my ass off...the only person in that theater. yep, I still think that was hilarious!
