Mini RPG This Otherworld Summoning Is Just Too Much! (Summoning Area)

"Sure," I said as I began looking for a directory for the books organization, "Not a problem"

Going through the nonfiction section of the library, I found encyclopedias covering a wide range of details. Bringing them back books to the table, I go and search for something interesting I saw in the directory.

"Spell books huh?"

 

"So I have to bring you corpses?" I frown, awfully aware that I would probably not be able to kill anything.

 

"Oh, I see. So the solidified mana from magical creatures serve as fuel for you. Fumu. In that case, what about mana transferring? Would that work, or does it not exist?"

It's a rather awkward topic to bring up, but...it should be fine, right?

 

"I suppose? Any creature or object sufficiently strong in essence could be target for the ritual... maybe you can find other things to extract mana from."

"Mana transferring...?" Ranko tilted her head innocently. "What is that?"

 

"Eh, I guess that's fitting coming from you. Power first, heh."
Letting a laugh leaving my mouth, I looked around and only saw a horse doing some stuff I suppose, well, at least, I found the maps. I took them and looked at them while walking toward the table.

"Alright, except a horse, guess nobody can be an issue... so, basically, I asked for a Perfect Memory. Surprisingly, it has been granted... didn't mention any side effects as well... So, I just gotta look at these pages, and normally, I should remember them to the smallest detail. Isn't that great? Gotta save up time, I could try to remember what I have seen, the letters, the sentence and so on once we are out."
After telling that, I rubbed my hands and looked over the encyclopedia Hai has brought. But-- let's get to the most important first.

History, geography and co shouldn't be hard to find I supposed, as any library would have history books, biased ones, but there would be there. As for spell books, that is-- different. That kind of stuff, in any fantasy, shouldn't be easily available.
"Mhmm, let's start with the spell books."

 

"Do I have mana as well?"

 

Wha---

I can't back down now, that's impossible! What's with this fixed game?!

"Well, we put our lips together like this, and you just...suck it out via the mouth...and...uhm...uh..."

"Haxa, don't go there!"

 

OOC: I haven't even found any maps yet let alone started eating them

"Well, well, lost children. Interested in my library, aren't you?"

Something speak from nearby. It's a surprisingly pleasant feminime voice, despite the hint of haughtiness within. Though if they crane their necks up, a horrorshow would greet them instead.

Peering over the bookshelf was something resembling a woman, at least six meters tall. The impression would be comically gangly if it's not for the extra features - or to be accurate, missing features.

The skin on her face was missing, leaving bleached white skeleton in macabre contrast with the rest of her. Two traces of dried blood ran down the empty eye socket. The entire lower jaw was gone and in its place was a gaping hole, a black void of horror seemingly large enough to fit a normal human's head.

Most notably she wore some sort of coronet on her head, and a series of finely crafted blades revolving behind her back. Her clothes looked almost humble in comparison, simple garment forming simple blouse and robe.

"Its not really power for me," I said as I grab a healing book, a fire book, an earth book, a water book, and a air book, "I just want to be able to survive without having to worry about looking over my shoulders," I said as I set down the books at the table.

"My ability is regeneration," I said as I pulled out a seat, "Originally I just wanted healing magic but that goddess character suggested this instead"

"Hello," I said trying to keep my cool after seeing an unexpected sight.

'Dragons, Kobolds, a Pegasus? I guess an Undead shouldn't be that surprising' I thought to myself

 

The horse neighs at the being that appears to it leaning over the bookcases. "I'm just here to eat some maps don't mind this horse, it's not going to do anything to bad at all after all what else are maps for if not for eating!" The horse proudly looks at the being staring down at it or well a portal that appeared where the being was before it began talking. The Pegasus looks sort of proudly at it's work of only creating one portal whilst having said all that.

 

Slowly waking up, I look down upon my body to find that I am, indeed, a dragon. Which is a bit of an issue right now since I’m taking up most of the room I was summoned into! Hopefully no one was squished under me as I was summoned? Oh, someone’s looking at me too! Seeing as such, I turn my head ever so slowly to see them. This body is a lot more cumbersome than I thought it would be.

 

"Perhaps... but I do not know whether it is enough."

"W-what sort of indecent act is that?! Is this something common from where you're from?! My, how lewd!"

 

"H-Hey! It's not that weird! Mothers do that with their children all the time, couples do that all the time, and best friends do that sometimes as well! It's just lip contaaaaaaact! I'm not a perveeeeeert!"

 

Turning my head to look at the small creature, I say, “Oh? And exactly how does that mean it’s normal to do so with a stranger you just met?” My voice, despite my best efforts of trying to speak softly, still echoed throughout the room.
