Idk. But there are something about the Mc that it's really annoying and Not so refreshing her personality r same with other just ORDINARY fl like n*ive and ign0rant. Im so tired about the kind of MC who always curious and nervous like.. the hck I prefer more type of arr0gant than ths one.. I got your point but isn't the red hair character the MC from the future or smthn? I'm not sure what I'm saying at this point since the translations aren't really clear but we'll just probably wait for the MC's character development since she's been through a lot of abuse, it's understandable based on her circumstances that she's naïve and ignorant. Plus, she was a commoner and was suddenly adopted by the marquis when she was a kid, I think she thought that she'll be treated well once she got into the family but it turns out that she wasn't and she didn't see that coming because all the marquis wanted was to take advantage of her potential power to see the spirits.
Are you a teenager? The MC is currently like this cause of abuse. She is currently in her character growth period. As for red haired woman, she is basically the MC. Red haired woman is MC's past self. Apparently they murdered her wrongfully, but she managed to reincarnate and i guess currently MC's soul is in the process to assimilate with red hair, unless red hair was closed off in that mysterious thing in the academy, but managed as last measure to liberate part of herself so that MC would be born. If you want arogant from the start then go to wuxia/xianxia and chinese stories. Koreans love making tragic backstories and adding growth scenes in their novels. With few exceptions of the "Beware of the villainess" category.
girl I got what u mean but at this point the MC is only a 16-yr old teenager that has been physically and emotionally abused by that mthfckr marquis. Don't forget the fact that she was a commoner who lived in the street, with such a harsh life and shitty household, I'm even grateful that she can pull herself together that fast. I can give you some suggestions for arrogant MCs from the beginning: Medea, Roxana, Astina, Alexa, etc.
