Dude, you let your guard down, he might comeback, so bring your gun to your school

 

Sometimes, I feel like the media is kind of at fault for this. I don’t know why but I feel that if the media wasn’t making making such a big deal of this, less people would do these kind of things. :/

If we cared for each other a little bit more, there would be no shooters like that. Because people that care will notice the signs and do something about it. That's why love is the answer.

Yeah, school shootings would decrease by a lot if bullying and other behaviors which are harmful towards others didn't exist... not human nature though, and especially not for teenagers. Even then it would still happen, as there are always crazy people who do it just to have fun, because they're bored or whatever.

 

ok ok please enlight me here. i get people use knife/gun to self-defense obeying rules. but IF i was a bad guy trying to rob why should i obey such rules?

Controlling knives guns makes it harder for people generally to access a knife or a gun. If someone really wanted one, it's possible they could get it, but most crime is more the product of happenstance than of deliberate planning...
But talking more about that is getting into politics, which isn't allowed here.

 

I think that there are even small things that just a little bit of care would fix. It takes a community of love and understanding to bring up a child. Different people displaying different and appropriate levels of love actively would heal a lot of hurt and help others with practical assistance. Well...that's what I think.

Mm...well, it's hard to write a policy that's like, "Care!", so that's why people keep repeating the same old arguments about gun control/more guns, because those are the easy arguments....
The problem is, people get so focused on those they forget that their policies will only go so far, and it takes far more personal effort, by everyone, to effect a societal change.

 

To stop a bad guy with a gun, you need a good guy with a gun...

Seriously. If Kim Jong Un can make threats everyday, why aren’t schools closed everyday. Is it like the boy who cried wolf and everyone just ignores him. But then one day, he will actually follow through.

Well, policies come from abstract concepts of love, liberty and freedom it's why its appropriate to talk about that when discussing gun policy. Those are the ideals we are trying to aspire to as well as enable people to use guns. This is why talking about love and making it the centre of our lives is important...it will lead to better policies because you will always ask yourself...is this really showing love?
