They shouldn't so anxious to kill Felipe at the conference. Even if they can't manage it there, it's not like they won't have more chances after the conference. That's quite the coldblooded experiment. I expect they'll start publishing the news about synthesizing life ingredients as quickly as possible now. The Church is going to have to scramble if they want to explain it in a way that does cause their people to explode. Of course, this also strikes at the foundation of the northern church, so it might be enough for them to make common cause against the Congress. If so, I wonder if the druids would also join in.

 

I wonder if this will make the druids more willing to let the arcanists study their spells.

I wonder if Lucien will do something about the pollution? Also, why is there pollution? I thought magically synthesizing carbamide will not have any polluting effects. Weirdddd. You can of course say that they are leaving the synthesizing to ordinary people since there are not many sorcerers in the world but then, how the hell did they get the technology to build a factory for that? Or am I just underestimating the technology of this world?

 

i think it's not the carbamide that cause pollution, i think it's the production of 3 alchemical substance that sollusible in water that cause the pollution

Hopefully he'll use his influence over the company to deal with the pollution. This sort of thing is best dealt with at the start of an industry. Waiting only makes it a thousand times harder to implement.

 

Honestly, unless the recycling magic circles aren’t cost effective, I doubt a law would be needed. No business is adverse to selling its waste products if it can find a buyer.
