Question Tips for a novice translator?

I now know lol,there was no next chapter bouton at the end of the chapter so yeah :/ the story of my life

I only put it at the top -3- well you know, so it won't remind anyone to try the next chapter haha

And @SnowTime I think a lot of people learned there is till chapter 25 so the site is overloaded.

I mentioned it somewhere, but if you don't know an idiom or something cultural/historical, try ichacha.net or baidu's encyclopedia.

 

i recommend forcing yourself to reach a daily wordcount goal. Whether it's 200 words or 500 words. That way, you always make progress and you don't forget about it until way later. Making it a habitual thing will help you progress through the chapters in a regular pace.

Agreed. Trolls exist everywhere except maybe on most BL projects. Funny how the flamers are such paragons of wisdom but are afraid of BL...

Idk about translator sites.. I don't read it.

 

Well, not as often as you think lol. Because it's maybe one or two comments until the fujoshis unite and drive them out of the BL thread. XDDD

I don't mean translator sites, I mean on comments. Because I've noticed that you hardly ever see them on chapter comments the way you see them on more traditional wuxia/xuanhuan/xianxia action projects. Yanno, the ones with regular het romances if there's any romance at all.

 

Super negative comments can be demoralizing. Just remember there's always idiots out there who trigger and flame, because oddly enough they're blind to other worse things out there in the world and on the net. Until you gain the super power to punch someone through the internet, learn selective blindness.

Is it? I always thought that there were a lot of fujoshi and fudanshi everywhere (must be because of what I generally read and watch:bl) but yeah it could be

 

I think it's a strong subset of our community but I don't think that it's too big?
Not exactly sure, since fujoshi presence is big on NUF.
