Kaneki's story gets sadder and sadder the more we read about it... Poor guy From the looks of things it seems like Kaneki will be returning next chapter
Because of boredom and I couldn't recall if Kaneki had so many ,,fights" for his body with that Binge eater (is that the name).. And I was lost somewhere in that sf stuff -,,who am I and if so how many? What is the answer, what if there isn't any?" (from a melody). If I would want to try something in that direction that the manga seems to follow I'll try Dorohedoro or Homunculus or... Try thespectrum.net .
Yes. Kaneki = Tragedy, Sadness, Pain. Kaneki's mother was the only person who cared for him, looked after him, etc. Or so we thought. Even when he was a young child, there was pain in his life. Actually the hints about his mother were there in Tokyo Ghoul (the first part), where he touches his chin when he is talking about his mom. At least in this chapter to my understanding, Haise and Kaneki sorta "merged". But learning that Kaneki wanted to die in the hands of the "Reaper" in V14 hurts so much. And of course, there is Eto. Why is she taunting Haise? What does she want with him? How will Kaneki "save" Eto as Yoshimura asked him to? Too many questions. Can't wait for the next chapter. I hope we will see a badass fight between Sasaki and Kanae. Hope no one interferes tho (Eto, I'm looking at you).
I'm still liking tokyo ghoul:re but not sure how long the next chapter will take. imperialscans is dead and true mangastream said they'd take over but not sure how long we'll have to wait for the next chapter...
I'm thinking that Eto and her connection is that it's to do with his connection with Yoshimura, or that Eto is doing this to ken as she wants him to feel something similar to her, a life of struggle. the next chapter is going to depressing though as Haise described himself as a sweet dream. Haise was Ken not wanting to face reality.
Yep. For me, it is quite... normal? Idk why, but it doesn't feel as exciting-- wait, forget that. It is exciting. Not special though.
I just don't know why people like this story. Sure, it has a good plot, but it's kinda unstable right now IMO.
I like this story because of the detail to it. the character development is something I love about it as well, watching ken forcibly put into this world of ghouls and try to survive while going against his previous values was something I loved. RE is good for me because it does what a good sequel should do, it expands the world developed in the Tokyo ghoul and still leaves some questions. that bit hurt in the feels more than i want to admit,
after reading the latest chapter and thinking what eto said about Kakugan being based off the amount of rc cells and the user's imagination, how insane and powerful is eto to have reach the point she has.
I love how the new kaneki the REAL kaneki "He died cause of your lack of ability" Urie was trying to blame kaneki for shizaru's death Hmph, you are just upset that you lacked the ability to back him up
