Yea, so the novel is gonna have a web drama coming out on oct 31 and I honestly think it's gonna flop like a magikarp. Don't get me wrong, I'll watch the show and show my opinion about it but right now here's what I think. I say this because the info I'm given makes the show look like absolute shyte. The MC is supposed to be a newbie that just started working at an entertainment company (singer, actor, and etc factory) and he got the power to see into his future. Along the way, he helps a girl group debut, gets a newbie to become a top class actor, and other amazing shit. But when I saw that the MC was changed to a female, the girl group he debuted turned into (IRL they're all famous singers) an all male group called [S.O.U.L], and the characters of the boy group aren't even like the characters from the novel (judging from what I see around the net). I'm ok with changing the gender of the characters cause why not but abruptly changing their group name, who they are and turning it into a romance (probably) would ruin every chance I had of watching this show. Also, the actors are famous for their acting in.......romance..........ROMANCE!!!!!!!! I don't like romance, especially when it's supposed to be a show about people trying to pull the chair from under each other. Romance isn't possible with any of your group members because if your'e caught then your'e dead and done. It seems pretty stupid to have all these newbie actors playing characters in a romance show that was originally supposed to be a action show. It really doesn't help them for the fact that most of these actors have worked together on past projects because I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ANY OF EM!!!! I'd accept it if they were like a younger version of an important character from a flashback but these dudes are actors for small time stuff. And don't get me started on how the viewership will go. They have a member of a kpop group called Astro playing as the music groups head leader..........WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT!!! If you think hard then you can't get what I'm saying. If a popular boy band member joins a show and becomes the possible male lead then there will be a shit ton of viewers that only came for the male lead. The views would mainly be from fans that stan the boy band member, the people that really wanted to watch this show, critiquers, people that like one of the actors/actresses ,and people that left their tv on that channel. My opinion might change after I watch this show but at the moment I think you guys should go watch it for yourself's on October 31th.
Okay wtf. They changed the genders of the characters? Just... WHY. Is the main character still going to have a ton of little nephews? Or are they going to change that to nieces? Is his rival going to be female too? Or male? What's going to happen?!!!?!!
From my view you cant expect anything that resembles the original novel with that list of casting specialized in romance because they would have not the feeling

MC literally jumped onto a truck and pulled some guy out. He got a chair thrown at his head. Some guy broke a table in one punch. Multiple cat fights. Cake to the face multiple times.
It’s focus is on the management and career buildings with some scheming, face-slapping, drama, etc. so it is kinda action drama focused just not your stereotypical battle action. More action in a battle of brains I guess. Romance was the side plot. I feel the gender swapping will also affect the romance. Despite Top Management not being romance focused, it has some great moments and one of my favorite ships. If the MC becomes female, I feel the whole strong cool reliable manager MC and shy beautiful cute love interest dynamic that was going on would completely disappear and be scrapped. One of my favorite romance/relationship goals moments was the fake cold emergency phone call. I just don’t think it would be as cute if the love interest was male. Agreed.

I can’t picture the female MC threatening people seriously. This will obviously be nothing like the novel. Why couldn’t they just be like it’s inspired from or based on the same premise as Top Management and give it another name?! It stinks that the first YT Korean drama has to be like this. It also sucks even more that it just disrespects/dishonors/twist the original.
The only silver lining we can hope for this is that the author will start writing again. Its been on hiatus for ages...
