As for lacking job... Well, the only jobs that are "necessary" to have, are the crafting ones (Apothecary, Blacksmith, Chef, Crafter and Enchanter), but we already have one person on each at least.
Breeders are always nice to have I suppose, since they can sell monsters for cheaper prices than the market, but that's about as much as what they do (aside from getting those monsters for themselves for free).
Argonaut and Explorer are both jobs that don't really help anyone aside from yourself, but they can be pretty useful.

So... Rather than choosing a job that is "lacking", I think you should just pick a job you like~

You got it a bit wrong, you need to first split those 6,6,6,5,2 rolls without changing the exact number on any of them. Then add +2 as you see fit.

Spoiler: Example

Atk: 6 + 2 = 8
Def: 2
Agi: 6
Mag: 5
Wis: 6

Also, you cannot start with any Variant Skill, if you wish for Fire Slash, you must first learn Heavy Blow.

Almost, you put Heavy Slash as your skill, but this doesn't exist. I assume you meant Heavy Blow?

I'm back. I hope I'm back. Aside from being busy, I think what killed my mood to update was the secret event fever. I didn't like people treat it more like a special event than a secret event. This seem made a lot of confusion. At least this is what my staffs told me. I don't think my decisions about how treat it was bad. It's more like whatever decision I made, the outcome will be either overestimate or underestimate the player. So it was more like whatever outcome, it will end bad. I just decide to trust more the players.

To clear some misunderstandings:
- You can fight the guardian of floor but you don't need it to reincarnate.
- The guardian is the one who prevent you from dying in the dungeon. Fighting her mean give up this right.
- To beat the guardian you need some requirement. If you die by her hand, she will give you some hints. Whatever this is worthy or not, is up to you.
- I prefer 100% that you ignore this secret event than make it easier. I don't know how many share my thought but to me the main charm of Dungeon was exploring the unknown. I'm envious of people that don't know the stats as they can feel the excitement of unknown danger. The spirit of an adventurer. People that die every day to uncover mysterious secrets.

Anyway this is how much I feel I can say about your misunderstandings.

Now about the update 1.5:
-Revamp the first floor as I don't like what I made.
-Now players will be always considered sneaking while moving in the dungeon unless they decide otherwise. Not hidden enemies will automatically check when players enter in the room. This will make not hidden enemies less powerless. I feel this will be more fair for everyone. Update part 2 will have monster's behaviors which add more to this. Monster's behavior will work only for reincarnated players. New players will keep the simpler version so they can take time to assimilate the mechanics.
-D.o.t. damage block def regen by being out of fight.
- Skill balancing:
Guard punch do 4 less damage instead of 2.
Emergency guard recovery removed.
Shield bash move to its position.
New skill to take the empty place: Iron Skin.
Iron Skin: Reduce damage by one and reduce agi by one for 3 turns. Improvement reduce one extra damage and one extra agi.
All players that learn this skills can reset their skill points.

I don't know if my character could help, since it's not really balanced itself. At most, the only thing I could do is look at the monsters and give an opinion.
