Whenever I try to use the trackpad and keys (like WASD) simultaneously, the trackpad just won't work; as long as any key in the keyboard has been pressed, the cursor stays in the same location for a couple of seconds. Is it an inherent limitation of trackpads? How to make it work normally? This issue makes playing games like Don't Starve and Factorio very annoying.
Quite a few laptops have that as a "feature" so your cursor doesn't jump around if your wrist brushes the pad as you're typing. You can often disable this feature in your touchpad's drivers.
No, seriously, get a mouse. It's much cheaper & permanent solution, since laptop trackpad design inherit the trait of individual operating from the mouse; which mean if the mouse work, the keyboard ain't & reverse. But another annoying part was most of the laptop availiable, they priotize on Keyboard, not Trackpad.
