Basically what the title says (translators are in high demand so I don't have much hope but I figured I might as well try it hehe) 1) Edited MTL is fine as long the editing is done well. Which means your english should be good. It's fine if it is a little, just a little bit wonky since it can be proofread (rip me). 2) You don't have to stick to a schedule but try for like, two chapters a month? That should be possible. 3) No experience needed. 4) If you happen to have spare time and can do this but aren't sure which novel to choose or don't have anything in mind you can go here, there's a lot of incompletely translated novels in the comments. 5) Umm, yeah that's all.
