well, this most likely is a stupid question, but has a translator ever written something on websites like qidian, syousetsu or munpia or whatever in that language? Or do they just write English originals?
By 'English originals' you mean making their own series? If so, yeah, I'm not sure about other translators, but making their own originals is usually the case.
Your Title answers your question, my answer is that they eat burgers. But honestly they can do whatever they want, but I guess on CN sites you need to be Chinese to publish novels.
LysUltima (sp?) has. Deathblade, translator of I shall Seal the Heavens is writing his own stuff, just not sure if he's writing it on Qidian also since I haven't been following it.
Wait, LysUltima, the person who does that https://ebisutranslations.com/ actually wrote the novel https://ebisutranslations.com/ is translating?
Yep~ Because NU only indexes translations, not original works, so there was a convenient loophole since Lys wrote the story in Japanese first, published it on a Japanese raws site, then translated it into English. xD
Someone put their original novel on syosetu recently in english, and submitted that to NU.. but I suppose that isn’t a translator~
