Recommendations Transmigration/Rebirth Novels where transmigrated MC was the heroine/hero of the story

Hello everyone!
I'm looking for any transmigration and/or rebirth novels where the transmigrated/reborn main character was actually the heroine/hero of the story. I have been trying to look for such novels to no avail --- except with this one GL novel where the transmigrated heroine loved the villainess. I forgot the title though, so I'm unable to share the link. It was actually this novel: Favor the Villainess! Credits to @FalseNutrition

Anyway, I'm open to any recommendations: be it GL, BL, or BG.

I read numerous transmigration stories but most of them, if not all of them, had the same formula: Cannon fodders and villains/villainess. What is wrong with being a heroine/hero in the story? I'm guessing it is not popular in the market. So I included a poll to see if these characters are really popular. No worries! I made sure that you can change your vote if you're having second thoughts.

 

I noticed that too, maybe it's kind of exciting to see how the villain/cannon fodders deal with the story? since if the protagonist transmigrated into the hero/heroines, he/she should have known the entire story and how it would flow

Ah that makes so much sense! So unfortunate though, I think they can be creative with hero/heroine story too. I just recently read a novel where the OrigFL became the cannon fodder instead. lol Why can't they do the same formula? Haha

Okay. I picked the second to the last option because I am really not picky. Nevertheless, you have a point. Authors could expand on this just like other others changing the whole game of transmigration gimmicks. I think this is like a counteract version for those novels with transmigrated villains and background characters.

To tell you the truth... I thought BG was background at first. My boomer mind went ahead and thought that OP meant background characters.

Try looking up BG in an urban/slang dictionary....no one’s gonna blame you.

For those who are watching this thread, I am so ashamed of myself! lol I completely forgot that there is actually a novel that had this plot. Perhaps the transmigration threw me off that I forgot to consider rebirth novels! Anyway, the title is The Female Lead Has No Cheats.
