Spoiler: Father someone from the previous post said it was the emperor. And now with the latest chapter (early 600) it seems ML’s father is also related to her mother but the strange part is—that if so, why didn’t he know CL.
This is the confusing part. The chapter said she first went to HCD, then Erlang, then Eldest Young Master. But that doesn’t make sense because later it was said that Erlang woke up in the middle of the night and went to look for HCD who had left; but ended up sleeping in HCD’s assigned room. If so, wouldn’t she had bumped into Erlang along the way, instead of going to Ealand’s empty room? Or either see Erlang in HCD’s room? It’s a weird outcome. The chapter didn’t say the rooms were switch or that the switch room was the cause of she going to Eldest Young Master.
I think she meant to go to HCD room, but MuXiang prevented her from doing that. So instead of going to HCD room (which has Erlang inside), she went to HCQ’s instead.... which room it was I do not rmbr at this point, but it was MX’s scheme that caused it.
Then wouldn’t the servant report the interference to MX? But the servant didn’t mention a bit of that.
