honestly, it gets so much better once the plot starts going. I CANNOT stand slow plots but I heard so many good things about this story so I just kept reading and once Cale starts meeting the protags of the original story the story really picked up and I literally stayed up all night cuz I was so invested in what was gonna happen next. The author does a really good job in tying up different parts of the plot together. And honestly the characters are so cute.
