What is the difference between outlining and planning?

 

After how shit this novel was don’t know why anyone would read his next one

 

It was below average in the beginning but entertaining. His writing is stilted and robotic. Here is a scene that I could write.

Every moment together is precious and he is unsure what the future will bring, so he grasps tightly onto every single little moments like these.

CC has trouble conveying things through his words. As a face-slapping story, I suppose it does its job but the writing lacks depth.

 

CC does have trouble conveying things like emotion...it lacks human value and the feelings. But he does a good job in world building and plot as far as MW is concerned. Neither is he overly into describing the appearance of a Woman like Mars. But, I do think that Mars does a better job in showing the human side better than CC, albeit a few times.

 

Because this is targeted at male readers. What you wrote will not be well-liked by Chinese readers. They consider this as filler.

In addition, what you wrote makes it out of character for both of them.

 

Outline is kinda like the whole story explained in broad strokes. Planning is when you get that outline, split the story in arcs, decide what happens in each arc, plan side characters and their character arcs, plan what power ups mc will get and when, etc.

 

I agree that this would be out of their characters, but I still find it amazing how this might be considered filler when like, a total of 100 out of 1700 chapters in the novel are dedicated to the overarching plot while the rest is just power ups with zero character development. Thankfully we have Mao Ni and, to some extent, Er Gen.

 

Because readers reading Xuanhuan as a genre read it for the level ups. There has also been a shift in readership interests in the past 2 years as well. They care more about comedy then deep relationships/character building and stuff.

You can also see it from Er Gen's style changing to suit more of this crowd.

But the MC is so stupid. Just because he doesn't like to show off, people around him become target for his enemies. He just show his power when someone got hurt. Not just for once, but in every arc. I stop reading 100 chapter before this novel end.

 

I mean, yeah, he gets real fucking stupid. He tends to act against his own self interests. He really doesn’t understand the value of a disguise and secret identity. He just insists on making enemies with everyone. Fortunately for him, he’s super fucking lucky.

 

Stay away from that. For real. You don’t wanna invest time on that novel.

 

I’ve invested so much times already. I’m halfway through. I find myself skipping chapters cause there’s so much filler. Also that lightning guy is a fucking cockroach to the extreme

 

Finally finished it! I wanted more stuff to be written about Luo Huo'er but I guess I should be satisfied with her being mentioned in the second last chapter... still, my favorite girl
