so I was originally not reading Transcending the Nine Heavens and saving up a stockpile to read all at once, I last read at around 230 or so when it was at WalktheJianghu, and when I wanted to start again I saw a comment that said the translation quality was bad, I was wondering if the quality is bad where Qidian picked it up and if it had improved at all, is it worth picking up again?

IMO, it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. But it's nowhere nearly as good as Walk the Jianghu.

At least better than reading using unedited MTL.

Readable, but miles away from previous one.

I'd be more concerned about the quality of the contents of the webnovel rather than the translation. The author tries to make out the protag and main antagonist to be geniuses, when they are clearly not.
