Usagi Drop... Ruining every father adopt daughter genre since 2011... Come on...... I want to see a father-daughter drama, not bride raising genre....... geez......

 

I still have a little faith in Isekai Yururi Kikou. Hope it didn't ending like Usagi Drop. Honestly, if the just want to make a story about love with different age, at least write it like Hajimari no Nina.

UchiMusume still has an excuse: I mean, Dale isn't that much older than her, their environment is pretty much encouraging it without anything getting squicky, his own fixation is pretty severe, and finally, both of them solidly mature and grow together through the story.
In direct contrast, UsagiDrop was the real whiplash-inducing brainburner, I agree; he pretended he was a 'Real Dad', and was just too much a manchild / coward to even try to date / build a family that didn't get forced on him.

Ug. Dirty memories.

UM at least still reads like a fantasy romance, while UD was a concealed wistful fetishfest for single old wizards. : | : P

IYK has male and female twins, so unless the author introduces another little girl for the little boy to date, the fluffy cuteness is almost certainly safe. I don't think we're quite at the point, socially speaking, where the author can so completely Gainax the ending that the MC has a threesome marriage man/boy/girl. : )

Well you can have your own opinion but I regretted watching Usagi drop
Although it was the live action and the grown up girl and the young girl were obviously different people so it wasnt too bad
but I think the final part of the story might have been removed
I dont want to recall that drama lol
