Yeah, that bothers me too when he's not wearing the gloves. I just try to convince myself that he's hitting the side of the blade to parry rather than the edge to block. Thankfully, he's wearing the gloves all the time now so I don't have to lie to myself anymore
It was mentioned earlier that he just prefers using his hands, and in the initial times he met with a sword they talked about the Qi on his hands so i'm assuming the Qi is the real strength hands swords or whatever are just tools to use it. Though I kinda hope he gets a weapon outside gloves also, but then again he might just start shooting Qi blasts when he reaches like level 6 or something.
Hmm, most of his techniques need 100,000+ repetitions. I wonder where he'll find the other 999,500 apes? Broken Shadow Palm is already pretty close to that. The range just isn't that good and the attacks aren't very focused. Its kinda like a shotgun blast, video game style.
Another man junk is another person treasure? Turtle Destruction Wave 'KameHameHA' is too high ranked should learn a simpler version first... like Hadouken
The real question is: Does the MC have any money? I don't think he does at the moment. Unless he brought the nuclei with him, he could trade those I suppose. Or he could just rob the place
Let me guess. They're people who think they're hot stuff, who will try to force Tang Tian to sell the ostrich to them and will resort to violence when he says no. High probability that they're related to one or more of the ruling powers of the city. I like how adaptable the merchant is I wonder why he didn't try putting his qi into the crane. It probably would have reacted. Firo?
It's a reference to Tate no Yuusha (Legend of the Shield Hero). There's a girl mount who's like a chocobo in it.
That fight was a bit confusing. I couldn't tell who he was fighting or how. It seemed to be saying that he was fighting a Spirit General right at the start, but that didn't really mesh with people and events being described. It also didn't help that there were suddenly so many new names. Ah, must have been after I dropped it.
there were i think 3 youths with 1 spirit general each. each youth was rank 4 with a rank 5 spirit general (i believe could be wrong). when he first walked in he mentioned he was amazed to see that practically everyone had a spirit general.
So, why does he need a rank 4 mental cultivation card? Isn't the main strength of older cultivation methods (like the Crane method that he has) that they can be used at all levels and don't need to be replaced at each new level? One spirit general was rank 6, but the part I was referring to was when the fight from the ostrich was being described. It was saying that he was striking spirit generals even before any of them had joined the fight and was using a name for one of them that sounded normal, which doesn't mesh with the naming sense of the other spirit generals. There were other things too, I just don't remember them now. I understood the main points of the fight though, so its not terribly important.
Well, that settles that: Close Combat Experts don't use weapons other than things like gloves/boots/etc. I suppose you could call them unarmed specialists, but its not quite accurate either. I wonder if one of the suits she's planning to make could be used to train someone in an art so that the cards could be used to train multiple individuals instead of just one. I assume that when equipped, they'll poor their understanding of the techniques into the user and assist the user in executing them, so I think it would be doable. If so, it could actually be even more useful as an academic tool than as a weapon. It would allow schools, sects, etc that had them to buy much more expensive cards since they would no longer be one use items.
I don't think so, the name and actions describe someone all around maybe its just TT's preference? because there are a hundred ways to fight in close combat, obviously spears, arrows, and anything else like that is out but a dagger or a sword just makes to much sense to me at least i might be wrong. While reading this i had the visual of something more like HJC where the armor has an ability so like perhaps boots that can give you a second jump, or armor that can form wings or perhaps a shield pops out.
That guy is going to regret his decision to send the MC there I just wonder if it'll stop with a sound beating. He just gave away a sword after saying that he doesn't use them. Which, when you consider that the very first weapon he's shown using is a sword, only really makes sense if he doesn't plan to use weapons at all. Maybe I misunderstood, but it didn't seem like it would be as limited as that. Though, even if it were, the user would still need to be able to use it as if it were their own skill or it might do more harm than good in battle, especially at the speed these battles take place at.
It seems that she may have ruined oral for him forever Currently unknown. It should be at least in the double digits though.
LOL, no god can stand that kind of hit in the you-know-where... That said, Tang Tian is still an extremely godly young man for staying conscious after a killer hit like that. ^_-
I wonder if the people following them lost the trail, decided to wait for him to come out, or if he'll find their bodies in the traps when he comes back out.
