    Honestly I dropped it for now since its slow and the translation speed seems to match the pacing of the story.. Q_Q

    I also wish the translator can speed up, but sometimes I think the pace of translation match the novel. Chapter 100+ and the MC still not OP (beside his knowledge). i still laugh if I remember they have one single chapter focused on drinking tea

    Basically this. Honestly I've grown to dislike the majority of xianxia and anything involving cultivation. Most of the stories just come off as "not fun to read" since boring isn't the right word.

    Sometimes Zhan Long feels like the author simply throw in things he thought to be cool. You have job as bodyguard, university, side job, and somehow have the time to be one of the top leveled characters in whole server. Almost 70% of female chara dialogue is there to express how cool MC is, and the plot twist is really obvious for me. But it's a nice read if you got nothing to do and wanted to turn off your brain for a moment.

    If you get invested in stories I would recommend skipping Zhan Long.

    Zhan Long at-least managed to last longer then Close Combat mage with the author like that.. They both tend to throw stuff in they think is randomly cool for that moment.

    Over-appreciated: tensei shitara slime datta ken. It's good, but not as good as the clamors around it.
    Under-appreciated: ze tian ji, sword of the emperor, the new gate...but half of the problem might lie on their translators' pace, so what can we do :( it's already good that they're being translated.

    Yes especially how creepy Nie Li acts when it comes to that little girl
    like i get it you fell in love with her but dont throw yourself at her 24/7 and make it so that she doesnt have a choice but to choose you
    only thing that keeps me reading it is the fact that it has a bit of action

    Underrated:
    A Step into the Past is probably one of the most unknown Wuxia novels on this site. It is also one of the best ones in my opinion. The start is a bit shaky, but it's really, really good. A lot more focus on politics and intrigue rather than MC killing whole armies by himself and training/power ups etc. And the villains are really dynamic as well. Also I second Conquest as a really underrated novel.

    Overrated:
    Pretty much anything by I Eat Tomatoes. His stories gets really repetitive and any character other than MC always feels really flat and uninteresting.
