Honestly, this thing doesn't really bother me. They mighy have wives/lovers, but not the main knights who are often mentioned in the story. Before the second war actually erupted, Riftan left Max in a sanctuary where wives and family of knights stay to wait for their love ones who are knights, its possible there are a few of those in Remdragon who are married or with girlfriends who also went there. However, a life of a knight who is often at the doorstep of death might not have the will or plan to get married with the risk of leaving them a widower. Even Riftan feared he might not have been able to return to Maximilian after the dragon expedition. I don't think it is Riftan's responsibilty to remind these grown-up men to get married or find a lover. With Hebaron and Gabel's issue of getting someone preggo, I think Riftan was more concern with their flirty and womanzing behaviors. Those two are known to sleep with different women and Riftan said not to let them escort Agnes and Max in fear of having numbers of women knocking at the gates of the castle looking for the fathers of their children. The festival will be filled with women both innocent and pick-up types. in a more dramatic mode, Riftan knows how it is to live without a father figure and then eventually finding out that his father was a knight but died in battle. He died even before he has seen him. To add, not every knight in Remdragon is from Anatol, most of them, if not some, are nobles who were from families coming from different countries. They might've have a lover or wife from where they come from or are already bethroted to someone cause nobles tend to do some fixed marriages..
both are good. its just need some patiency for the manhwa update. 10 days per chapter and a break after some chapter (i forgot the calculation, sombody has share it here previously) but the ilustration is so good.
Can knights have wives? Do they need the permission of their lord's/ the king's? It does seem so because I haven't heard any knight in the story have a wife except for Riftan, who suddenly married Maxi due to special circumstances.
Those are great points and I agree with you. I guess my worry comes down to if there is really a chronic problem with orphans or illegitimate children to the point that the city is overburdened. If most of these childrenare being taken care of by the church, then it is not a big deal. However I think you would want knights to have outside lives. Some knights retire, you couldn't really be a knightbyour whole life. I know not all of them could inherited a territory like Riftan, but having an economic plan for knights to build up the city and create family may help communities. Again it is really not important to the story, it is just a overthink nonsense really.

Me too, this chapter really so is sad and heart breaking, i hope someday both of them open up and really talk things out. Telling each other everything from the moment they met until they were separated.
I wondered about this in passing, and agree the life of a knights wife would be stressful. For the most part they could never go with their husbands on expeditions, and wouldn't know when they were coming back, if ever. Lets not even talk about the probability of 'camp followers' latching onto your husband between battles. - I also imagined which of the knights would be most likely to attract likely women that put up with the lifestyle, and also marry. Gabel, I think most likely, he seems a pretty nice guy, smooth and handsome. He advised and explained how knights traveled to Maxi on the way to the First War. And he is well spoken, able to tell an interesting tale when prompted. The girls would certainly like him!(I would) Urslyn may never marry. He, being a noble himself, would be attracted only to high status women.-- Problems-- First- they would not want the life of a knights wife. and Two- their fathers wouldn't condone such a match in the first place. When he gets older, retires(do knights actually get to retire??) he may want to marry a noble widow, not so young but still beautiful, and not dependent on her father's approval. Heberon. -- oooo boy!! Would take a special unique kind of woman! wowie!! But I think as gets older, he may become the captain of the Castle Calypse security forces and knights in training. At that point he may want a mature woman with a tolerant sense of humor to come home to each night. Elliot - -I dont have any sense as to how he would relate to girls. He is younger and has lots of time to think about it and maybe find just the right girl. then there's------ Yurishion - - OH MY GOD!! I know he is very young - but - thinking about knights marrying - he popped into my head. With his totally honest and enthusiastic personalty, he would be attractive. and if he ever fell for someone- it would be head over heels overly crazy bonkers love. So that's all I have to say about that! Hugs y'all !
