I've read more then one myth that dragons had a rather active libido. I can see it now, young male dragon that can't find a mate rampaging around the forest using random beasts as onaholes....

I got the shreck reference, which is what got me thinking about the odd combinations and how they came into being...

Otoh now that I think about it, the blue mage raised by dragons on RRL had a pet pig/boar he infused with dragon magic which in turn mated with some kind of mythical bird xD

Yet, in ch-706, with no mention of him reactivating his shield, he's apparently able to breathe underwater:

 

Question, i just finished some chapters at the beginning, isn't the tag "unlucky protagonist" wrong ? Because somehow he activates the passive effects of his stuff that got really freaking low chance of activating (that i think the numbers are just a joke/useless unless he upgrades his stuff like to +70-100) : 1st try on a 5% chance with brick on head, 2nd try on a 2% chance with armor reflect.

If it was a 50-75% chance i would find the upgrade more useful and his luck on activating effects correct.

 

Bwahahahaha, the chapter with MC upgrading a brick to +13 and experimentating with it was awesome ! Really funny.


In later chapters, looks like the father of the villain he killed search MC, makes me curious, why didn't MC kill the guys that were faking death ? That would have solved lot of future problems. AGAIN plot hole.

What will happen later to his friend and wife ? I'm curious and don't want to see them separate or die. Hopefully this novel will stay good and have them have a good future.

 

He isn't called 'unlucky' for that reason.

It's because he gets lost the moment he gets off-road...and ends up at a fight or gets to spend months trying to find direction (LOL)

 

Arrived to the part of the master of willows "skillfully" making the "saved" girl a sister of MC. Damn what good insight and what a really good brain !
Also seeing her trying to help him and remembering the elder of "Fate" school trying to help him it warms my heart and makes me wants to shout : "BOOOOYAAAAAH !" or "YOSHAAAAAAAAAA !". It's really rare to see so smart side-characters and also rare to see strong people help a MC when he is still weak in hope of having him help them later. What a good feeling of having a MC being seen as having a lot of "potential".

Outside topic: It's cringy how in the bonus novel i read that MC of Mushoku is kinda jealous of beautiful guys/ikemens because in my pov he is kinda pretty good-looking too. But i also see a little how he is ordinary looking. Damn ! Why be jealous when he got 3 wives ! Unless they don't exist, i think lonely ikemens or ones with only 1 wife would surely curse him to death if they knew.

 

Oh just i like i thought once, looks like the main girl is not the main girl and was just a trap. I still believed until the end that she would trully be together with MC because of her eyes showing her happiness of the villain's death but looks like it was good acting all along. But yeah the "dodging" of the wolf and the fast pacing of her "father" appearing made me doubt too. Also i thought that the "strong" guy maybe revealed to MC that the girl was a trap.

Edit: now i hope that the "saved commoner" girl will get together with MC. Please don't reject her MC ! (it's really highly likely that he won't accept her because he was traumatized by "trap" girl)

 

Much later on, after he had joined a School and got "backing", along with more fighting skills and lots more experience, he's not so easy going with people who try to kill him. He does wise up that it's better to kill all of the people who attack him, especially if they conveniently come to him (ie ambush him) in a secluded place.

 

I should get back to it. I stopped to stack a hundred or so chapters back when he was in the academy since chap size seemed to have decreased

 

Can you plz spoil me with who MC will end up with ? Please tell me it's the junior "sister" disciple ! They are so good together !

Bai Yunfei starts hanging out with a girl at the School, who he had met prior to arriving at the School. At ch-301, he accompanies the girl home to meet her family. That said, most of the story so far, they're not together.

 

Awwwwww by junior i meant the commoner turned soul cultivator / "sister" disciple in the willow school that was saved by MC. A little disappointed but i guess it's better like that as he didn't fall at first sight of her.
And WTF !? Still no romance !? Pfffff....

 

Never appeared again as of 790.

It's a psychological thing, he can't easily get rid of his INSECURITY caused by being shunned for years.
