Unfortunate news about He-man, just disappearing like that. Hope he returns or at least gives a status update ASAP.

Just a random guess, but I'm betting he'll be able to "upgrade" the soul beast he forms a contract with. I think it'll be a little different from the items upgrades though... with their souls linked, maybe Bai Yunfei will be able to directly transfer his soulforce to his soul beast -- basically feeding it? Resulting in a faster-than-normal cultivation speed for the beast.

 

I wish He-Man all the best. He did great work while he was around.

I'm at ch 36 and can't help but think that Li Chengfeng is going to end up captured by those evil soul sect guys and be forced to share Bai Yunfei's secret.

Yn5an3 is wuxiaworld's website admin, so I believe it's reliable information.
Basically, He-Man is probably gone for good and Ren & co are currently looking for a replacement translator behind the scenes.
