lately, I have been interested in the xianxia genre. but bored with the usual world background, so I tried looking for xianxia novels in modern earth, but what I found mostly contained 'Chinese numba wan' excessive racist and nationalism. Doesn't completely match the requirements since MC starts out a normal human - Cultivation Chat Group Honestly, I would recommend some others as well, but most of them have MC carrying his country in some way while they beat up foreigners, which is a little bit nationalist, I suppose.
If only finding one such requirement was not unlike finding a needle in a haystack, nevermind all of them.... Good luck.
