Basically a reincarnation novel or manga into modern day. Gaming is fine but no isekai into fantasy. No Yaoi, I don’t have anything against it. It’s just not for me. Something like Past Life Regressor, or extraordinary genius is preferable. Thanks.
So just reincarnation from isekai to modern world, or does modern day to alternate modern day count? Or what about reincarnation into the same modern day just as a different person? Try You Look Like You’re Made of Money. It's reincarnation from ancient China setting to modern day. Or just watch the cartoon Samurai Jack. lol I know a bunch more but they are either reincarnated as a different person, or reincarnated to a parallel modern universe.
Maybe something like, I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship, so I Became a Space Mercenary (transported into futuristic VRMMO) and/or Battleship's A.I. Reincarnation
