I've picked it up, and you can expect to see one chapter a month until the end of the second volume. Depending on what's going on in my life then, I might be too busy to continue—but I will see it through to the end of book two! In total, there are six chapters of approximately the same length, so I should be done with the book by June. Unfortunately, I'm not Yorai-kun—I don't have the stamina to translate an entire Light Novel in four weeks as a hobby!

There were a lot of people on this thread, but Nonon's dogged persistence over three and a half years in particular convinced me to take a look at this, and it turns out that these books are actually really good. It's a shame that nobody's translated them, but it also makes sense that they haven't. Compared to the web novel I'm also currently translating, it took me almost three times as long to translate the same amount of words. Yikes.

I'll still translate to the end of volume two even if I don't see any comments anywhere, but I'm also a fiend for dopamine, so if you guys want to talk about the book (or the translation especially, including pointing out typos, sentences that sound awkward, or things that don't make any sense) that would motivate me a lot!

Unfortunately, I have comments disabled on my site, because I don't want to bother moderating them and removing spam.

Did you guys get a chance to read the first chapter? What did you think? Give me that dopamine!

 

@trash-ocean hey, how's it going? Still translating this? I'm not very into reading 1 chapter at a time so I usually wait for the whole volume before raeding. So I've been stalking the novel's main page everyday to see if there was an update lol
