Did any of you watch the concert? 7 hours of Latin American Artist singing and talking for Venezuelan people. what are your thoughts on it and Venezuela Crisis in general? here is the link to one of the many Live streams
no~ not me~ for venezuela crisis tbh I only know portion of it~ some cat point out venezuela depend too much on oil export~ idk how true is that~ add with intern political dispute~ foala somehow it remind me with my own country situation during late 90's lot of problem~ da recovery will long~ long~ long~ time~
easy to talk And pretend you care while in safety of your bubble famous people saying they care is a joke. remember that ACTORS are put as un ambassadors of things they know nothing about
me? if you are refering t me, I'm sorry but my contryis not a safe bubble as it may seem, I live on a country whose president supports Maduro for the woring reasons and istrying to force his stay in power over the vote of the people, where corruption is rampart and external debt is skyhigh under the mask of growth (we even own massive debts to venezuela)
I live in SA, Peru to be exact and if I were to reveal all of my true thoughts about it I will get banned I assure you. I simply hope that USA gives the green flag to invade and get rid of Maduro so I don't have to deal with all the problems that this idiot has caused to the entire continent. I feel sorry for Colombia who has it even worse than us
Bolivian here so... under all of this that it is happening we are ashamed of what our president said on his support for maduro, because his government was funded by Chavez money
Well spoiler alert ! It's just another regime change op. VZ have money confiscated and trade barred and have it's necessities constrained and the very same people that make it so in the first place now offering aid.
it's not only trade that is the cause of this, even if those were lifted the people would be unable to obtain them, their money has gone so deep in hyperinflation that they can no longer afford it because of their government useless economic policies
It is easy to say that but we care, and don't forget that famous people are also human so they can care too, even if they are in a safe heaven, because that is called empathy
Hyperinflation cuased by hoardings of daily mecessity goods. Now that still because of how little that come by. I agree in some parts that heavy subsidies and price fix by the government have play part in accelerated them but they are largely the fault of the monopolies practiced at the down most economic system. Often most by the rich people that have ties outside.
it remind me~ this topic quite sketchy just barely into political debate~ which can lead into locked that aside any info which artist perform on concert?

I remember when reading some novels with politics in it and thought about how utterly dumb and trash where the people on it, thinking that it was impossible to be that way on countries with education for everyone, where people could be at least a little smarter than medieval times, and here whe are, being proven wrong, I guess those in power will always find a way to manipulate the masses till is too late to avert the crisis, is a shame that that paradisiacal place got to this point
yeah im doubtful. empathy from my observation affects only those of similar circumstances. artists And actors (rich ones) are estranged from reality and are slaves to publicity stunts publicity And sympathy together sell like hotcakes
the thing here is that it was his predecesor that manipulated the mases (and those with low income to boot) Maduro came when the place was about to fall and he just added oil and burned it to the ground instead of trying to fix it
that is also true, and you have the right to doubt them, but I'm more interested on the results than in them, if the aid can reach those in need
