    Hooooow is everyone doing this fine spring day? The sun is out, the birds are chirping, it’s time to dive into another novel with a fascinating premise! Today, we’re delighted to welcome Transmigration: Of Mysteries and Songs written by Qingyu Anfou (青玉案否), translated by LittleBigWhale!

    This was a novel I originally picked to translate myself because I was really intrigued by the premise. So many of transmigration stories focus on life after transmigration, and the actual soul traveling event is used as a simple gimmick to explain many irregularities in the story. Why does the MC know all this advanced knowledge? They transmigrated! Why are they so OP compared to others in this world? They transmigrated! What about their old family and friends? Er… they transmigrated! I felt that few make good use of the plot point itself. So when I happened across a story that makes transmigration an integral part of the story… well! I was quite hooked.

    So there’s this from the synopsis:
