So, Netflix released a new movie where people are stuck in a VR world where if you die in there, you die in real life. Unfortunately, they took out everything that seems like fun in genres like LitRPGs etc.
Isn't this just survivor/lost/hunger games? Would have rather had them actually take some cliches from anime/web novels if they were going to try to do a "stuck in vr" trope
I rather have an abomination live action adaptation of SAO than this. You know what, scratch that! I want this budget to be used for actually researching in improving the virtual reality systems in our civilization.
