So, I am a bit confused on the differences between gods, demons, and devils. As far as I understand now, main difference between demons and devils is that demons want worshipers to perform sacrifices, while devils set up contracts that might take contractor's soul in exchange for something. Overall, however, I don't see much difference between the three, especially considering someone like God of Murder also requires his worshipers to kill, making the simple division of gods are good, while devils and demons are bad untrue. So what exactly the differences between the three? Is it simply the realm where they reside (Celestial Realm vs Nine Hells)? If so, then how exactly demons and devils are different?
Demons are lesser entity compared to devils and gods; they are less aloof than the latter two. And I think that devils and gods are more of two factions than two races competed with each other. Edit: Gods also have a more "favorable" reputation among the mortals as well since they are more "benevolent."
That's the point. They are all just higher beings in the same higher realms. There aren't much differences except their intent.

Difference between demons, gods and devils when it comes to the mortal soul: - when it comes to gods, your soul is like a paid servant - do your job well and you might be allowed to eventually become a holy spirit/regular employee with benefits, under the initial god that recruited you. After you get promoted to employee, you may get a chance to be groomed and promoted into a newly created post of minor god of something. You are not allowed to surpass them or consider yourself their equal. - when it comes to devils, your soul is the toy and they are the kids playing with it until it is nothing more than a broken husk of its former self - unless you manage to become useful in the process and 'earn' yourself a place among the lesser demons - when it comes to demons, they're the devils' indentured servants and your soul is their meal ticket - their job is to corrupt you and are paid by commission, though some may give in to temptation and feast on you instead. I may be wrong though... Anyway, it's based on D&D stuff so get your hands on that if you want to learn more.
That's easy they're all the same higher existences but gods prefer chicken while devils prefer beef, oh and demons prefer fish ...... I'm sorry I'm waiting for dinner while writing this up

Also, if you believe in an evil god when you die your soul goes to said gods domain - if he wants to take you in. If he doesn't want to take you in, because you are unworthy or not a true believer, you go to the devils. If you had a deal with the devils, you go directly to the devils, no questions asked. If you don't believe in any god you "join" the wall of the faithless (basically the punishment for not believing in any god, and the reason it is better to believe in an evil god than being faithless) . Souls that go to the 9 hells are transformed into low level mindless devils usually (strong guys may become directly stronger devils). Demons spawn from the abyss, they don't need souls for that. Of course all this is muddy in WMW because there is no guarantee that the author will take 100% of the cosmology (but so far he has).
