I actually forgot I was reading a story where the MC is basically a villain. What he did to get his coin artifact caught me completely off guard. I'm use to his selfish antics, but he went full evil there.
But I have to say they really did tie up this whole twilight zone arc quite well.. now I am just curious if and how leylin will get to keep all his minions from twilight zone as an advantage for central continent... for sure he won't be giving up those icy caves esp if his bloodline advancement is connected to them.
Leylin will probably be back to his academy days since there are even rank 6 expects in the central continent
Leylin really changed after becoming a Warlock, he wasn't this bad as a acolyte, remember when he gave an entire estate to one of his slaves?
Killing Baelin was too much for me tbh. I thought of Leylin more as a pragmatic individual who didn't shy away from using slightly underhanded tactics, not someone who goes out of his way to fk people's lives over for personal gain. Not sure if I'll continue reading now :/.
Also Longbottom's hatred for Leylin was sort of contrived. The lengths to which he went for revenge was really really forced. Like really? He wasted over a decade on a revenge over um nothing? Leylin made him move some swords lmao and didn't pick him over Baelin, definitely a reason that warrants him betraying all of humankind lmao.
I've never thought he was soft-hearted, though I admit that I was suprised... Some chapter ago it was mentioned (not clearly I admit) that he was influenced by the dark elve Aaaah, I cant wait to see the next arc, it will be really cool
drop it then the mc is an anti-hero not the good guy who saves everyone chapter 372 to 390 could have been a nice way to end the novel
I am . But I never said I thought he was a good guy that saves everyone -.-. I just didn't think he'd become a borderline douchebag.
He is a total asshole, not just borderline, Baelin is far from being the worth, at least the guy wasn't a direct human guinea pig, I mean look at the guy who practiced the sacred flame, or the slave he had bought on the south coast, those guy were destined to die from the beginning, if Baelin had done like leylin, acting for is own profit, he would probably still be living with his wife...
Yea unfortunately it seems to be getting worse though. Before he even admitted that he would return favors as long as it doesnt negative impact himself. Now hes becoming one those sickos in WWII who experiments on people lul.
why are you saying this now? he's been experimenting on people starting from his acolyte days you know. *Smile*
btw guys, did you see Leylin's vitality gains? [Leylin Farlier, Rank 3 Warlock. Bloodline: Giant Kemoyin Serpent, Power: 23.6, Agility: 20.1, Physique: 35.7, Vitality: 203.4, Magic Power: 203(Magic power is in synchronisation with spiritual force)] I think they got these stats somewhat messed up
that was pragmatic AF-- he gave Baelin the power so that he could get the power of destiny -- the entire time it was him setting up chess pieces. the only difference now vs his early days is that he is a lot more powerful, so his chess pieces are also relatively more powerful. still disposable pawns tho. It's like in the early stages, where some mega awesome medicinal pill can help you break through levels....whereas next stage of cultivation you are eating those pills like candy
typo power is supposed to be vitality, physique is strength and the vitality stat is the spiritual force. 90% sure [10% -- physique is vitality, power is strength, vitality is spiritual force]
